This little strip mall diner hit the spot for a quick breakfast while running errands. I had a sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an English muffin that was done well. There is hot sauce (Sriracha I'd say) on the tables, which I used as the sausage could have been a tad spicier for my taste. My husband got the French toast platter that had so much French toast he actually gave me a piece, which doesn't often happen.
A couple suggested improvements: I think they do a lot of takeout orders so speed is probably their priority. However the French toast could have spent a little longer in the batter. There were still a few spots of unsoaked bread in the middle of a couple pieces. Also, they could use to lose the Styrofoam. And if you are looking for gourmet coffee, this isn't the place for it, and I wasn't expecting it.That said, they could easily put the coffee in an air pot, what I had was sitting on the coffee maker hot plate a tad too long.
Definitely still a good breakfast and great value!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rachel K.Bellevue, WA0819Jul 8, 2023
I was visiting from New York and stopped by this deli for a quick bite to eat while shopping near College Park ~ I got the recommended sub and this ranks among the best steak and cheese sandwiches I've ever had! The deli is super cozy and reminds me of home - the service was really personable with super attentive staff. Will visit again when I'm in town

I almost gave this place 1 star but since the First time I came here was over 10 years ago, my cousin introduced me to this spot. The egg sandwich was good at the time. I decided to revisit this place located in a strip mall that receives tons of commercial traffic from RT1.
When I walked in the place had not changed. You would think that after 10 years some kind of upgrade to the "letter board" menu would have been done.
When you walk I was looking at the menu deciding what I wanted. The cashier in a non pleasant manner asks "what do you want". I wanted to try something different, so i went with the french toast and coffee. She charged me extra for the "turkey" sausage. It did not say that on the menu.
I also ordered coffee, they did not have fresh brewed coffee and something had to brew the coffee. 7-11 makes better coffee and has a better selection of creamer, sugar.
The french toast had no flavor like an ingredient was missing or the bread was bad. There not environmental friendly, they use no silverware, all styrofoam plates and cups. I feel like my chance of getting cancer increased here. Not coming backHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Patrick L.MD, MD04Mar 24, 2022
Desperate for food at 6AM. No diners open. This place may not look like much but the breakfast had a lot of options, was made quick and was tasty.

Place I have pasted hundreds of times but never stopped! Good local place to go for a fast breakfast! Husband and wife that own the place extremely nice. Good food and fast service. I had The breakfast platter for six dollars. Eggs, bacon, home fries, and toast

Long black hair in my scrambled eggs. Disgusting.

Terrible service and rude gentleman taking an order. Wasn't even worth ordering the food. Could tell everything they buy was from either BJs or Sam's and that means no Refigeration on their meats. This place is salmonella poisoning in the making. STAY AWAY!!

Where has this place been all my life? My morning struggles often include grabbing something tasty, filling yet healthy. I recently moved back to the College Park vicinity and this is on my route to work.
After reading yelp reviews I gave it a try this morning and wow... I ordered the platter special for $5.75 which includes eggs, home fries, toast and your choice of bacon, ham or sausage. Since I do not eat pork I told them to hold the meat. They were nice enough to give me extra egg. They did have turkey bacon but it's $1.50 extra. I can definitely live without the nitrites in the meat. Very filling! Awesome price and portion size. Has a home style taste and you can see them cooking the food behind the counter. Love it!
This place sure beats ordering into iHop and picking up a $11.50 omelette with 1 side. Never again!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Karene S.Silver Spring, MD559219Apr 27, 2018
My first time here and I'm totally disappointed with the service I received. The man at the register acted as if he couldn't be bothered to answer my questions about the menu. Since I was on my way home to work (long story), I decided to get something to eat, because I wouldn't have time to cook breakfast. Needless to say, I came home and added cheese, onions and bell peppers oh and some seasoning. He started taking the orders from the guys behind me before he was finished with my orders. I don't think I'll be back.

Based on the reviews, I really thought the food would be better. If you want good breakfast, this ain't it.
It's divey for sure, but that doesn't have to indicate bad food. Sadly, however, in this case, it does.
Bland and greasy french toast. Fake syrup. Bad coffee. What else can I say? Oh, yeah... There was a short black hair in my eggs. They rectified it immediately, but still.
BTW, my husband, who rarely comments on bathrooms, was grossed out by theirs.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
