We are a small family-owned business. We homemake almost everything, such as our dipping sauces, stir fry sauces, bone-broths, and noodles. We have a wide variety of Southeast Asian dishes, but our menu mainly incorporates Thai and Laotian dishes. We have many dishes that people have deemed their favorite, but the one that never seems to fail is our Pad Thai. Our Pad Thai is stir fried with thin rice noodles in a sweet tomato tamarind based sauce. A really popular fan favorite appetizer would be our Champa Sampler, it includes all of our Lao appetizers such as Lao sausages, Yor chin, and Nam khao. For desserts, customers love our mango sticky rice dessert. It is sweet sticky rice infused with jasmine, coconut sauce, and is served with a semi ripened mango to balance the sweetness. We hope for you to try our dishes and enjoy it and our culture.

Q:
Is this restaurant open on Memorial Day? And, do they actually make their own noodles from scratch?!?
A:
No answers yet. Answer this questionQ:
Do they have gluten free options?
A:
Yes, we can make most of our items on the menu gluten sensitive. All of our noodles are rice noodles, with the exception of the chow mien noodle. We can use our gluten-free sauces in place of our regular soy sauce in any of our stir fries. If you do… more

I have a nut allergy and they accommodated me!! I literally had avoided coming here bc I get weary of trying new Asian spots as I have been rushed to the ER because of eating Thai food before. BUT, wow! The food here is a lot cleaner than Thai Hut. Thai Hut, you can smell the dump outside.....and there are cockroaches there.
But here...wow! Clean, service was great as waitresses were so attentive. Ordered red curry with pumpkin and beef pho with the fresh veggie rolls! Definitely made two people feel ridiculously stuffed! Ah! Will be back! Portions were fairly large especially the pho (and tastier than Thai Hut in my opinion). Waiters took more time vs me feeling rushed! Just comparing my experience to Thai Hut since that is where I have eaten before!
Just a note if you have a nut allergy, some curries contain nuts...like the pumpkin curry, so let your server know!!!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Grant M.WA, WA915Mar 18, 2024Updated review
I've ate here many times but I tried something new Saturday, pad Thai with peanut sauce instead of the signature tamarind sauce. It was so flavorful alongside the perfectly cooked noodles and pork. Service has always been excellent too. Great service and great food will keep me coming back!

*3.5 stars but will round to 4*
I was craving a nice bowl of noodle soup so we decided to stop by Champa Garden. There is a huge parking lot so parking was easy.
Pad Thai - a bit on the wetter side and a little too sweet for my liking. The beef wasn't very flavorful. Would pass on getting the Pad Thai here.
Lue's Noodle Soup Kaow Soy - very flavorful broth. Not sure what fermented bean soup is but I liked it! The soup looks red but it's not spicy. I added some pickled jalapeños and that added a good kick. Very hearty meal on a cold night and definitely hit the spot!
Yor Chiun (appetizer) - egg rolls were super crunchy, a little too crunchy because it scraped the insides of our mouths. Still very good though, especially when dipped in the fish sauce and wrapped with lettuce.Helpful 9Thanks 1Love this 6Oh no 0 - 7697381954Jul 24, 2023
FOOD
- Angel Wings: fried stuffed chicken wings. 2 pieces. Stuffed with pork, clear noodles, and mushrooms. I've only have angel wings one other time and it was really good. This just did not compare. The chicken was dry and bland. 3/5
- Kaow Poont: curry coconut soup with vermicelli noodles and chicken. I'm used it being called Khao Poon but in any case, this dish was pretty good. It was saltier than I would like but it was still tasty and the chicken was tender. 4/5
- Pad Thai with shrimp: rice noodles with eggs, tofu, and peanuts. Good flavor. 4.5/5
- Mango Sticky Rice: sticky rice drenched with sweetened coconut milk with ripe mango. My go-to dessert. So good! 5/5
SERVICE: Fast, friendly, and attentive. 4.5/5
FINAL THOUGHTS: I would come back. The food was good and the price was fair.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jeff D.Vancouver, WA17016Apr 13, 2024
The place was very busy and a lot of chatter, which we enjoy. The service was excellent but the flavor of the food (pho noodles, beef) was okay and not seasoned as we had hoped from prior experience at other Vietnamese restaurants.

Wow really good. We had the fresh spring rolls with shrimp and the avocado rolls followed by wonton soup!
The mango rice for dessert round it all off!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 22, 2023
My family is from Laos, so I was so excited to find this place while on my road trip to Burney Falls.
-1 star for the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. Very soggy and bland. I must say, I was really disappointed by the Thai food... but the Lao dishes were incredible! I highly recommend their Larp or Nam Khaow.
The Lao food was very well-made and resembles my mom's home cooking. The Nam Khaow is on the sweeter side, but the flavor is so good! Amazing texture too. I would love to try their other Lao dishes in the future. The Raw Tuna Larp was incredible! So flavorful and the marinated sashimi was fresh. I highly recommend! It's like a Lao version of poke.Helpful 42Thanks 4Love this 34Oh no 1 - 457163Oct 16, 2023
This is our favorite Thai restaurant in Redding whenever we visit. Been dining here since 2017 and they never go wrong with any of our orders. We were in town for the weekend with friends so we brought them here for their first time. I ordered the beef Pho, large in size and my they really don't joke when they say it's large lol! Service is always great, staffs are friendly and nice. We went for lunch and was seated right away, foods were sent out fast. All our foods were to our liking. I love the broth of the Pho because it's not greasy, it's clear which is the best quality in a pho broth. The restaurant is neat and clean as always.

Champa Garden Thai was our dinner spot after a long drive. The food, particularly the noodle soup and Thai iced tea, was quite satisfying. However, we encountered a unique issue: the chairs at our table had wet paint, which adhered to our clothes. This was particularly noticeable on my new pants. Despite this mishap, the restaurant's response was impressive. After we brought it to the waitress's attention and paid, the manager/owner came out, apologized, and refunded our meal. This level of customer care, especially after such an unusual event, was truly exceptional.

Champa Garden is always packed. This time we went in one of the hottest day of the year (100+) and was so glad that the wait was less than 20 minutes. The place is not small but, with so many diners, it did feel a bit small and noisy.
Anyway, the hostess and the server were very nice and friendly. As many in our party of 8 were not familiar with Southeast Asia cuisines (except maybe Thai food), the server was very patient to described the dishes and answered all questions asked professionally.
Most of the dishes were spicy hot although one could ask them to reduce the spiciness. One word of caution, for those who has hypertension, best to ask them to be easy on the salt because most of the dishes are of full flavors and salty. The dishes were reasonably priced but smaller portion, so order more if you are hungry.
Our dinner was good. Everyone was able to try something new. Also, to our surprised they did not automatically add the gratuity to the bill for a party of 8 (as many restaurants would have). They simply said that it was up to the diner; when asked. So, tip generously.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
