Cayman Cove

This was a great little Buffalo Bills bar before the make over. It catered to Bills fans with good Buffalo based meals.
After the make over into Cayman Cove, all Buffalo based foods were gone from the menu. And all Bills fans went elsewhere. Every time I went by, it looked empty. Betray those that made your place and its gone.
Too bad. As 1891 Gastro Pub, it was great. Cayman, not do much.

So I've been here once or twice before and had good experiences. Today I walked in at 12:30 expecting to have a fun time and enjoy a drink or two. Instead the outside bartender rudely asked me if she could help me. People were still outside drinking, and in the past and on google maps it says it's open till 3 AM everyday. After being asked if I could be helped, I asked for a bud light and the bartender rudely replied "no, we're closed." Sad because I've enjoyed the bar in the past. Probably won't be returning.

We went to Caymans Cove because it's close to our house, saw it on Bar Rescue, and had a Groupon. It's located in one of the more quaint areas of our neighborhood with lots of cute shops. We had high hopes that this could be the local bar we've been looking for but...It was a Friday so I expected it to be busy but it was dead. The staff was nice and attentive but I feel like it won't be long before this place is out of business. They were out of all draft beer (what the heck???) as well as some staple liquors. I genuinely felt bad for the staff who continually had to tell patrons what they were out of or drinks they couldn't make as requested. So, if I could give the bartenders 5 stars I would for doing the best with what they have but overall this is a place that location wise has so much potential but the management is completely missing the mark of what it could be.

1030pm March 16.. heavy set male bartender with the beard and nasty Attitude and poor customer service who fkd up my order without even an apology.. dude find a new job if you don't like where u work.

Another taffer classic. He fixed Scott (saving lives, not bars) in 2 days so well that the place was closed at 5pm on a Wednesday before a Yankees night game. The best part was the two shady characters peering into the dark bar under the straw hut (which is an odd look for a strip mall bar on a major highway nowhere near water). I think they were repo men, probably looking to grab the turbo tap system taffer installed but didn't pay for. Wink. Head nod. Fist pump. Another bar...uhh.. rescued?

My boyfriend and I wanted to check this place out since we watched the episode of Bar Rescue. To be honest, we read lots of reviews before going here and had low expectations. People were not kind. It was pretty dead, as in no one was there except the bartender. She greeted us as soon as we walked up to the outside bar. She was very friendly and sweet. She recommended a beer to my boyfriend and was prompt when getting the drinks. She made conversation with us while she tidied up the bar. I had one of their signature cocktails and my boyfriend had two beers on tap. No complaints about the drinks. We didn't order any food but will most likely go back to try it out.

I love the music on Wed. But the All u can eat crab legs is a HUSTLE! They give you a meal ( rice, plantains and veggies ) with 1 crab cluster. After that they give you 1 fkcn crab leg at a time! UNBELIEVABLE!!!

We went there after the beach NO one was there and it took forever to get our food. I had to send back my stuffed potato because it was cold in the middle. Wings were ok nothing spectacular. My mother in law got a margarita but it was super sweet, we asked the bartender if it was made wrong because it tasted like pineapple juice. So this heffer gives my mother in law sour mix to mix in, like WTF!

Won't go back!

This place needs a lot of work in so many areas. To begin with, the whole area had a dank smell. The service is slow and not great at all. One person had our table ordered and drink and had to remind the server 3x before she remembered it. The food is mediocre. I'm sorry to have to write such a bad review but I can't find one redeeming quality. They are right by the movie theater so if they got their act together, I'm sure they would do well. But alas, I'm just now reading that Bar Rescue tried to help them and if that didn't work, I don't know what will?? Sorry to have to put this business on blast and I asked the two other people at my table what they thought and they said they're never coming here again.

Very welcoming friendly the wings and empanadas are amazing one is not enough, drinks are good price:)
