Decent place. Huge pork chop with an apple glaze that was very tasty. Â The Mac and cheese really needed some work. They used mostly pepper jack cheese which doesn't melt as easily as cheddar does so it dries out the pasta which also makes it get colder more quickly. Â I don't mind the spicy/pepperiness of it but the amount ruined the pasta for me and I couldn't finish it. Â The "smashed" potatoes were decent as well. Â The mango BBQ was pretty good too but the waitress said that this was the only BBQ sauce that they have. Â I think that the place would be smart to have a more savory sauce on hand too to give those that don't care for a sweet sauce another option. Â Lastly, we were going to order a nice big burger but she said that the burgers wouldn't be ready to serve for another an hour and a half. Say what?!
The service was decent but then again we were one of only 5 tables there. Â The sweet tea was nice as well. I am glad that I went but wouldn't return. - J L.Corona, CA513311912/29/2018
This restaurant smelled like a great steakhouse, however, after waiting 90 minutes for starters it went downhill from there... Â Main courses (3 Filets and 1 Mahi Mahi) were cold. One plate had the mashed potatoes that was supposed to accompany all 4 dishes, 2 had NO potatoe and the other had - COUNT THEM - FOUR French Fries. Very inconsistant, service was far below average and when all was addressed we were offered a discount of one round of drinks. Â I would not recommend this place to anyone. Â Cheers.

If this is the place I think it is (and I'm pretty sure I have it right) this place was horrible!
It was the first place my husband and I went for dinner on or trip and is the one we remember as 'the rubbish place we ate at on the first night'.
It took a long time for our server to come and take our order, We both ordered steaks (naturally) and while we were waiting for our food to arrive we noticed a lovely curry-like smell wafting from the kitchen. We got our server's attention and asked what it was only to be told he couldn't tell us.. What??! My husband asked if it was because he didn't know and he said that no he just wasn't allowed to tell us. How rude!
Our meals came and they were just 'meh' -- A bit nondescript, right? Well that's what the food was. My steak was undercooked and the fries were just luke warm.
We also ordered dessert which was the best part of the meal but still not great. I could have got better from the local food store.
Then the bill came and service charge had been added (think it was 17-18%) Now I don't mind paying the average 20% tip for but the service we received was severely lacking and unhelpful. No check back was even made after we received our food so I couldn't get my undercooked steak corrected.
Well over priced food and bad service.
My husband and I plan on moving to the area and this is one place we won't be going back to. - Tom N.Cerritos, CA166301461/7/2008
This is NOT A Complete Review - I was in town for a convention, so heading back to my hotel for the afternoon I stopped in about noon to pick up something for lunch to go.  I ordered the soup in which they did not have...then two other appetizers in which they are not serving that day, so I settled for the beef  gazpacho or beef tar tar. Â
What I don't understand is for a completely empty restaurant with one order of RAW beef...it took them 1/2 an hour to make. Â I understand that several of their staff were busy getting the place ready for the day, but there were several of them reading the paper and chatting around the bar, so they should have been on top of it...it was only when I got pist off that they rushed it.
The beef tar tar was not from ground beef, which was a good sign.  However, it was not very good.  The meat was flavorless and too thick for tar tar.  I was considering setting up a business dinner there that night but after the lack of service, I went somewhere else instead.  Given that this review is based on a take out  order of an appetizer, I am not impressed! - Leslie G.Miami, FL2332277495/12/2010
Came here for New Years Dinner 2010. Kinda on the pricey side. My hunny & i shared a porterhouse plate for 2ppl . It came with shrimp & a burnt corn on the cob. Don't think i'll ever be back here!

Nothing special, not worth the price. The service was subpar. We never got our bread until we asked for it after our meal arrived. Our stakes were warm, not hot.
We'll probably not come back. - Tara M.Des Plaines, IL88374175/9/2007
Nice steakhouse, that leads you to believe it's fine dining... but it's moderate. Â The food is good... I had grilled Chicken with a 'Cattleman's Sauce' and pineapple. Â It was tasty... but after sitting on the plate for a little while the chicken did get a little dry. Â My husband ordered a prime rib, and said it was amazing, except for the hunk of fat in the middle (which wasn't giant, but it was there and irritating none the less). Â They actually have a kids menu for those, like myself, traveling with little ones... but as I've said in other reviews, I cannot stand it when there is not a healthy offering of fruit or veggies for kids... my daughter ordered mac n cheese and got a side of fries with it... I just don't like that.
We didn't have to wait for a table and our service was really good. Â If we're in Orlando again... we'll definitely consider it. - Steffanie R.Oklahoma City, OK3298012324/5/2013
Wanted to go someplace that my family visiting from Jersey didn't have by them. Â So we walked across the street to Cattlemans.
Service was really great, super helpful with my gluten allergy.
We had the porterhouse for 2 and my nephew had a burger. Â
We had a side salad that was just ok, nothing great.
The porter house was medium well, not well but tasty.
The shrimp was good.
The asparagus was amazing and HUGE.
but the ginger rice is flavorless and a HUGE miss. Â Replace it guys!
A little over prices, but so is everything in the area! - Lauren G.Baltimore, MD461121051/28/2013
When I went to El Paso, we made time to go to Cattleman's. It was the best steak I'd ever had. The. Best. Steak. Ever.
So as I was driving down Int'l Drive lost, and I saw Cattleman's, there was really no need to check the Yelp reviews. This place was going to rock!
Eh, not so much. My steak was grilled to perfection. But the texture was off. I couldn't put my finger on it.
I walked in with my daughter and was immediately given the evil eye for bringing a 4 year old. But after realizing what a darling she is, almost all of the tables around us complimented her on her manners...so awesome clientele. The host was also very attentive to our needs. Now, granted this was a slow period as they'd just opened, but I do like good customer service.
There are a lot of options in this stretch of Int'l drive. I can't say beat people down to get here, but it's not a bad choice, either. - Brad K.Gainesville, FL128755124/18/2011
Agree with many of the other reviews on this place.
I had just arrived into town and they were still open so I went for dinner.
Service was average.
But my food was greasy, under cooked, and expensive.
Much better places to go on I-Drive instead of this place.
Looks in this case are deceiving, as they have a nice bar area, outside sitting area, and curb appeal. They lure you in, but don't deliver.
