Do you allow outside food into the bar?
A:
Yes we do. No drinks of any kind due to ABC laws. The Royal next to us has a special menu for Cat Customers. Burgers, Fries etc. thanks for the question. Hope to see you soon.

Jose without the J is a gray pool player and a great opponent. Decent parking. Decent prices. Quarters for pool and yes they have a bill machine. Smoking patio. His and Hers bathroom.
251825161/12/2023So it's been a few years since my last visit to this spot and the vibe has changed. The bar service was horrible and there was a fight that broke out! This is not the Catalina Lounge I remember. The old bartenders are gone and so is that old bar vibe. So sad
1441881709/16/2022One of my favorite dive bars! I love coming here, wish I lived closer. Luckily I have friends that live in the area. Great pool tables, good tap beer selection, fun happy hour specials, very dog friendly. Servers are usually always in a good mood and happy to serve. Nothing bad to say about this place.

51191583/21/2021Updated reviewSo very sad...new owners... not good. Not your neighborhood pub. Which upsets me very much to give bad review to a neighborhood pub but it's not like it used to be before covid. No cat combo. No hospitality. No communication. I live soo close and I will not give them another dime. Best wishes but their new employees honestly suck. No need to ever go back. Reunion pub is like a normal block a way much rather give them my money.
12/23/2019Previous reviewLove coming to the cat lounge! It's your typical dive bar! Cash only! Locals are super friendly and they will give you the "cat combo" extra cheesy goldfish with pretzels! They have touch tunes and the bar tenders are friendly. My husband and I are new-ish to the area and we love having a dive bar so close to us!
Chris S.San Diego, CA078/26/2021Just moved to OB about three months ago and have been here a few times. This has become one of my go to spots. Good drinks, pool tables and friendly staff. The bartenders that I've met so far have been on their game and move fast, Shannon is the coolest thus far.
The place can get pretty busy which is great because I've been able to meet a lot of people in the area.
