The worst bar we've been to in Chicago! My husband is from the general area, he's active military and I'm retired. They declined our out of state drivers license and our military ids. Saying we needed Illinois id our friend showed her id and her Id's hair color was blonde but she Recently died her hair due to colder months and the bartender declined her too!!! The worst. Absolutely unfriendly to military personnel and civilians!! Never been so disrespected in my life, not recommended.

It had been many years since I had been in this place until last week. They did a great job remodeling the place. This is one of the best bars on the Northwest side hands down. I love it.

Note* They no longer have a pool table.

I RARELY give out five stars, but considering I am a regular, they must be doing something right! Many of my friends and associates come to "The Casz," as we all call it. There is a diverse crowd each and every day, ranging from young professionals to bikers, to construction workers, to the occasional housewife needing a night out! Of course they have My TouchTunes, which is able to be controlled on your smart phone! The drink prices are respectable, and the staff is AWESOME! Free pool on Sunday and Monday, and they even cook-out on Sunday for the Bears game...(unless it's on a Monday!) I am starting to try out other places, and I can tell you that nothing compares! The other day I walked up to some new faces (I'm not there everyday, btw!) and now they are becoming regulars! GREAT PLACE!

Great location for renting the room on their 2nd Floor for Gatherings, or in my case Network Meetings. Management is very flexible and easy to work with, no hidden charges of any kind. The management team is straight forward.

Everyone is very friendly and easy street parking.

Cheap drinks, free pool, a great jukebox and friendly staff and customers. The only reason I didn't give it a five is because I found this place while looking for something to eat, and they don't serve food.

I don't know how I just discovered this place, but I'm glad it didn't take me any longer. I live about two blocks from the Casual Tap, but I've never stopped in before. I usually don't make it past the Six Penny. While that place can be fun, I wasn't in the mood for an Irish bar-fight, so I booked it.

The Casual Tap has absolutely everything I was looking for- free pool, an excellent juke box, Maker's Mark, cheap drinks, cold beer, friendly regulars and a bartender with some personality. Within minutes of walking in my friend and I felt like regulars. The few people in the place were all chatting with each other, shooting pool, playing some video game bowling, whatever. After a round or two the bartender, Chris, was buying us shots. Hell of a guy.

There wasn't a single bad thing about my experience at this place. It's the perfect spot for a night of low key relaxing, and I will be back.

EDIT: I am now the proud owner of the top individual game score on their Silver Strike Bowling game. 256. Eat it.
