Will Case is my jeweler.
He is so lovely and friendly. I could chat with him all day. He is knowledgeable and easy going.

I always buy a pair of earrings when I stop by, the kind of earrings that everyone complements you on and you find yourself calling Will and asking him if he will send you another pair for your friend's birthday. Which he gladly does.

When a prong on my wedding ring broke and the stone fell out, Will repair that quickly and inexpensively and I am not exaggerating when I tell you I love the setting even more than I have for the last 20 years. It's probably the way it should've been designed in the first place!

I really cannot speak highly enough about this pretty little store, it's beautiful collection of talented unique jewelry and a lovely kind gentle friendly informative patient owner. I look forward to my visits to case-Daniel jewelry.

I'm having hand surgery and need to take my wedding ring off. It was too tight and misshapen and wouldn't go over my knuckle. I thought it would need to be cut off and re-sized. The proprietor re-shaped it into a circle on my hand, sprayed Windex on my finger and then coached me to take the ring off. Success! He also checked my diamond setting (It's OK). No charge for this help. I will return there next time I want to buy jewelry or have repairs.

Grew up in Suttons Bay. Will Case has done lots of jewelry work for my family. Havent worn my wedding set in 4 years due to the bands being several sizes too large - husband and I decided that for our 15th anniversary we would just change what I have and do some custom work. Will Case was the choice (so we made the 3.5 hour drive each way). I asked that my wedding band and engagement ring have the stones removed and the gold be melted down and all the stones then set into the same band.... Will Case said he could just move some stones around and it would work like I wanted.... he then kept my princess cut stones and put round stones in a band!! I had the rings back at a jeweler in Holland to have them fixed (they are now oval shaped, cutter marks and soder everywhere, loose diamonds, unen settings and crooked settings). Cost to get my rings back to their original condition $1500-$2000!! Cost to get what I originally asked him to do $3000 as I need to keep the stones and throw the metal away as the rings are now more soder than gold and the integrity of them is beyond repair. The jewelers here couldn't even make them the 1/4 size bigger that they need to be!!! When I contacted him when I caught the round stone swap (he set them in a square setting so they looked square!!) He offered to fix it if i mailed it back to him - I told him that I would be back in Suttons Bay the next week right at 10am to collect MY stones. Showed up - took 3 kids with me - was at his shop a few minutes before 10am.... he finally strolled in at 1045am! Then proceeded to tell my 6 year old she had to have her mask on - we were outside on the sidewalk and she wasn't going in the store - then opened the door and let his dog barrel out onto the sidewalk and right into my kids.... no thought to restrain or control it with young kids (the dog is as tall as my 6 year old). Then he handed me a check for a partial refund and my two diamonds and told me he didn't need the two round stones back and he was done.... no discussion of what i thought was fair or what i wanted to see with my wedding rings that I trusted him to work on! Now I have an expensive bill and rings that can't be worn... Think Twice before you go here. Completely unprofessional!!

Every time I am in town, I stop at Case-Daniels. The pieces that Will has are always interesting, beautifully made, and one of a kind! I live in Los Angeles and I am constantly getting complements on my beautiful jewelry pieces from Case-Daniels. Every piece is unique and most pieces (especially necklaces) can be adjusted to fit perfectly. At one time, I had an expensive pair of silver earrings, and one of them was lost. Will was able to PERFECTLY duplicate the earring, and now....I don't ever remember which was the original! Superb craftsmanship and attention to detail. L.A. has got nothin' on Case Daniels! Love this place and recommend it to anyone who appreciates great design and custom jewelry.
