There aren't many times when I'm excited to write a review about a restaurant and I was so busy I ended up writing this four days after I went but I want to make sure I share my experience with you all. The amazing thing about how I found this place is that I wasn't even looking for it, I was actually on my way to another place that happened to closed and it's a block away from this joint. It turns out that they were inside the little mall all the way in the back and now they've moved to the front and are really exposed. So I walked by, saw it looked welcoming and there weren't many people since it was in the process of switching from lunch menu to dinner and I went there for a late lunch.
Bianca, hostess, waitress and Chef's sister is the most charismatic, warm, friendly, attentive, welcoming and just amazing person ever. We actually talked a lot about how the restaurant started and their projections and very much about cuisines and other restaurants. I was very excited about the menu because it had Brazilian items as well a few Italian dishes but Bianca was extremely helpful in choosing what to eat. Now this is a predominantly a Brazilian menu so I was shocked to see one of my favorite Italian dishes with one of my favorite sauces all in one so I thought of it as a sign, lol. That dish would be the gnocchi bolognese recommended by Bianca because I told her I was really hungry and wanted a filling dish and this would do the job.
The gnocchi was, thus far, the best one I've ever eaten anywhere in Miami or outside and it's made here from scratch by a Brazilian Chef, isn't that ironic? Yes this dish was delicious and to top it off the bolognese sauce was also as amazing the pasta itself. This is a flawless dish that needs to be a signature dish on this menu permanently. Bianca did say her brother made the best gnocchi and it's not that I didn't believe it but realistically people sometimes exaggerate facts, not in this case. Bianca went as far as having the kitchen made a passion fruit juice, not on the menu, just to make a customer happy, isn't that the best service ever?
To end this incredible meal, Bianca recommended the passion fruit mousse being a fan of the fruit and all and that also has to be one of the most delicious desserts ever. I also ordered my coffee before leaving and having a pleasant conversation with Bianca who shared some really good info on their future plans for the restaurant. I have to bring my wife here because I know this might become favorite stop for her, time permitting.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Pamela D.Miami, FL22019Dec 10, 2016
What a hidden gem! Our first time here was on a Friday night with some friends for their ALL you can eat freshly made to order pizza, and let me tell you it was amazing. My all time favorite is the Frango catupiry (chicken with a special brazilian cheese) and Casa Brasolin out did their selves. Not to mention that the place is cozy cute and top notch service. We'll def come back to try all the other dishes. Highly recommend.

Good authentic Brazilian spot. They style of food is homemade and the place makes you feel as comfortable as eating at home. Try the Moqueca (fish & shrimp cooked with peppers and other veggies, in a creamy sauce accompanied with rice) and the passion fruit mousse.

Being new to the Miami lunch scene a colleague and I decided to take a walk and explore our options. We stumbled upon Casa Brasolin on 19 and 2 avenue and so glad we decided to give it a try. Not much to look at from the outside of the building, but make your way to the back for some delicious eats.
I tried the Ahi Tuna, seared to perfection. It was accompanied by a delicious mushroom sauce and asparagus- not the fat yucky ones. These were pencil thin and cooked al dente. It was an explosion of flavors between the tuna, mushroom sauce and asparagus. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the very friendly, helpful, and sweet staff. Do yourself a favor and give it a try, you won't be disappointed.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Vani K.Morristown, NJ304745Feb 12, 2017
I really feel terrible for giving it such a bad rating but here is where this is coming from:
1. Location, is in this little market but the atmosphere you walk into isn't very impressive and almost dingy.
2. Our server never brought water even after we had requested it twice, the only things he mentioned were what they cannot offer that evening ( no gnocchi, no coffee)
3. We ordered the fresh pineapple/mint juice and beer/carrot/orange juice, for food we ordered cheese bread, patacones, pollo soft taco, and a dish that was supposed to have pulled chicken.... ended up getting three tiny dry appetizers (cheese bread), the chicken in the taco was super super dry and no vegetables or anything given except for sour cream and a small amount of pico de gallo, the pineapple juice doesn't taste like anything and overall just didn't taste good.
We were hoping to come and get something mind blowing and made from the heart. Also they offered spicy sauce and told us it's $1.25 to get it so that was kind of off putting. What we got was dry meat and poor service. While the pricing is decent I Would not recommend until they improve the menu.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Hello Vani K. We appreciate all feedback and have since taken everything and more you mentioned into consideration. Since then we have moved into a larger location in the front and have made improvements with our service. If you're ever in this part of town again pass by and let us know who you are and will make your experience unforgettable!

This charming Brazilian restaurant is really good. Attentive service, welcoming atmosphere, and delicious food at great prices. Try the escondidinho with a cerpa (brazilian beer), a coixinha, and the passion fruit mousse. The only thing I will improve is the pastel, I wish there was more filling. Will definitely be back soon.

This little restaurant is a hidden jewel in the heart of downtown Miami. The address on their card is 19 SE 2nd Ave #4. The chef, Marcelo, puts his heart into the cooking. Bianca & Stephanie are fabulous customer oriented servers, with an honest opinion on the various entrées. I had salmon over puréed cauliflower, I am not usually excited by puréed anything much less puréed cauliflower. It was beyond excellent & the salmon was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the little restaurant.
