With the help of a wonderful community, what started as a little 10-table restaurant in Garden Grove has become a gathering place for southern California families and friends. When we opened our doors in 1978, we were inspired by a passion for authentic Italian food and sharing that food with the people we love. We've followed both passions ever since, expanding our business and finding ways to serve our communities. Today, not only are we home to a dine-in menu of comforting favorites, impeccable service, a selection of 400 beers, and a catering service, and but we also work with area schools on fundraisers, rewards for kids, and more. It's our way of saying "thanks" to the cities that have shown us so much love over the years.

Did they reopen the Anaheim location? I only see the Garden Grove location mentioned anywhere.. and they didn't update on Anaheim's status.

I can't see why not depending on the night it can get busy. Definitely call and see! I miss the food! I bought their shirt too... 8.99 special! I hope you love it! The prices were amazing for all the food we received!

First time at a VRBO in area. Hungry after unpacking. Hesitant of ge wait for a pizza. So glad we did. Very tasty. Basic pepperoni and mushroom with a gourmet taste. Had the wings and bruschetta all very good no time for pictures.
Gentlemen at counter very friendly and helpful. They gave a hard lemonade beer based so good..
Got there very close to closing at the time only one car in lot, not surprised so many pick up orders while the wait (not long) must try .. A+Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Joe C.San Francisco, CA02Sep 8, 2023
The pizza was horrible. Dry , greasy, poor quality cheese and pepperoni. I asked for extra sauce and they put close to none. I also ordered a meat ball sandwich. Dry and poor quality. Spent 40 bucks on crap + their delivery charge. They use Doordash so u have to tip them as well. Stay away from the Carolinas scam. 0 stars.

Wow! WTH is this crap? Their marinara sauce is as flavorful as a chuck-e-cheese pizza ! The chicken was as flat as my aunts tortillas, and the microwave did an amazing job at melting the cheap cheese they used. This has got be the worst Italian (wannabe) restaurant I have ever been to. Not even the bread had flavor.
My bride had some frozen dinner raviolis with Alfredo that was more like Miguel...
If this place is open past the summer I would send the IRS to make sure it's not a front.
Normally I would say the coke was good but we didn't have a coke.
Urghhh. Just stinking disgusting.
Oh, it was 60$ + for this junk... I'm heading to McDonald's for a .99 cent salad. I'm sure that can't get messed up.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Farrah Z.CA, CA67383Aug 6, 2022Updated review
I placed a to go order. When I arrive to pick up my order nobody ever told me what I was ordering what's on special and I could've saved a bunch of money. So that was disappointing. The spaghetti and meatball had no flavor, the kids didn't like it. One of the pastors was decent. The pizza was OK. Average at best.

If you're planning on staying around the Disneyland resort. I highly recommend Carolina's. They have the most amazing Italian food & craft drinks. The service is great. The food portions are generous. We ordered a sampler platter and a pizza and 4 of us were full and we aren't small people. Once before my husband and I had a calzone they were huge and so delicious.

Great surprise gem of a restaurant with delicious food and AMAZING service!
Carolina's is located right next door to the hotel we stayed in for Disneyland. I found out about it on Yelp and on our last night in Anaheim, we gave it a try because it was one of the few places open late without a wait (we tried to eat in Downtown Disney but many of the places that were open had a long wait).
We ordered minestrone soup, buffalo wings, lasagna and tea. Odd combo but it was late and we just needed something in our bellies before bed.
They have the most delicious cheesy garlic bread here and it's FREE, warm and unlimited! Careful with it though because you'll get full from this before your meal arrives!
Lasagna tasted homemade and although it took a while to come out, I didn't mind because it tasted like they baked it fresh and didn't just microwave old pasta. Service was awesome! Our server Dave was super sweet and personable!
They have an impressive array of craft beers which we didn't try this time but looked like an amazing collection. Also a good size wine list.
Would highly recommend if you're staying near the northern end of the park to come here for dinner-would be a great place for family meals as well (prices are reasonable and portions are generous).Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Albert C.Tustin, CA3074Feb 4, 2020
We had a baby shower at work which started at 12pm. Food was ready way ahead of time so that we could set up. Richard (GM) was very professional and helpful, as he even helped me carry everything to the car. i would recommend this to anyone who is trying to plan an event or dine in. The food was delicious and everyone at work was very satisfied. Thank again for making our co-workers day that much more special!
5 stars all day!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - D.Marie S.Anaheim, CA6212650Nov 21, 2019Updated review
My husband ordered the $19.99 special of 1 Large 1 topping pizza, fettuccini Alfredo, garlic cheese bread & ordered a salad. They didn't give him the salad and the pizza was paper thin & way greasy. He asked to add chicken to the pasta, it didn't happen. They forgot?? We were looking forward to this dinner but were sorely let down.
Hubby called them about the salad, why pay for something we didn't receive? They hung up on him after being on hold for 5 minutes... really???Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Sep 12, 2016Previous reviewMy family and I came in for dinner yesterday for the first time. There were not many people having dinner. We waited for someone to come out from the back to seat us. Someone finally came out and when he did greeted us and showed us to our table. After a few minutes, he came out again to take our orders. Our meal's were brought out promptly but there was an error with one of our dishes which was quickly fixed.
All in all, the food was good. We would go back.
The atmosphere was different than most Italian restaurant's but the music was typical which was fine. We love Sinatra.
I can't really say our server went above and beyond but... It was a bland dining experience with pretty good food. - Marcelle U.Sylmar, CA335615Aug 28, 2019
Food was alright. I really liked the pizza since it had a lot of cheese yet the crust was still crisp underneath. The alfredo sauce on it was good so I was happy about that. The tortellini on the other hand was just okay. If anything it looked more like soup, but I guess it tasted alright. Nothing special and I didn't care for the meatballs.
I was very upset however when I noticed that the servers were offering all the other customers free samples of their in house sangria and then giving them free bread on the house. They didn't offer either to me or my boyfriend. I let the alcohol go since we do look young so maybe they just assumed we were underaged, but I don't know how they went about giving everyone bread except for us. I would have made a comment to our server but I didn't notice until after we were half way done with our meal (we were the only customers in there when we first arrived).
Honestly at the end I rather just go to olive garden. At least the service and food is consistant, and they actually give EVERYONE complimentary bread.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 226329448Nov 11, 2017
This place smelled amazing when we walked in and we're disappointed by the food. We ordered the calamari and brushetta. The calamari was pretty good. The brushetta Was very bland.
The cheese bread was good the brought to the table with our meal. However the soup and salad was very bland. I got the house soup. Minestrone soup it was vegetable broth with cabbage, no other vegetables and no flavor.
I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo. It was good. However the Alfredo is spicy, so if your looking for a traditional Alfredo this will surprise you.
My kids had the spaghetti with meatballs which they loved!
My husband had the penne with a tomato sauce and Italian sausage. He said it was good.
My mom order the meat lovers pizza and the whole family loves it. I would have to say the pizza was the best thing!!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
