I had my first eye appointment in quite some time. I saw Dr. Melanie Erickson and she was so pleasant to work with. Very nice, very personable and took the time to explain everything to me as a first time eye glass wearer. The staff was amazing and pleasant as well. I will definitely be returning!

This was my first time at Caris Eye Center, the Alpharetta office. It was exceptional, the best eye exam experience I've had anywhere in over 40 years of wearing glasses and contact lenses. Everyone I interacted with- from the call to make an appointment through the exam process and check out- was so helpful and professional. Dr. Spence was great, very knowledgeable, also kind and patient in explaining details from my exam, especially the retinal scan, which was much better than dilation. The good reviews that helped me find this office are accurate!

This place is the best. Staff always bery friendly and cheerful. Always go above and beyond with customer service. Dr. Spence is a great doc. My whole family sees him! They work great with insurance.

At first, we were thrilled with the glasses and the service. The payment was mailed to them, and then we made the mistake of inquiring where the glasses were, a couple of weeks later. We were told that they were waiting for "the church to make payment." I was so shocked and upset, I could barely speak to them - the payment was received by them weeks before, and no church was involved.

Unfortunately, the glasses are MIA, the experience that was once so great now is one of regret in going there, and a "do-over" is what we want, but they have the money.

If it did not mean disappointing my daughter, I would request a refund and go elsewhere. My daughter has had glasses since infancy, and we never had any optical store treat us so shabbily.

Very clean and professional eye care center. Doctors and staff and extremely friendly. They accepted my Cigna insurance and everything was covered even designer glasses for both my husband and I.

Probably won't be back. They do have good safety practices during this pandemic, and the staff is very pleasant.
My initial eye exam with Dr. Erickson was fine. I ordered new sunglass lenses and new eyeglasses, frames and lenses. After waiting 10 days for the glasses to come in, they were not made correctly. The progressive measurements were way off and they had to be sent back. 10 more days went by, and finally after two full weeks, I called. I was told "We tried to call you." I beg to differ as previous calls to confirm my appointment came via text, phone call AND email.
Next issue was when I had an eye problem, and had to go in for a visit to get drops prescribed. That prescription cost would have been $311, so I asked CVS to request an alternate. CVS made an attempt every day last week to call, w/o success. So I called and was told "CVS did not call us". I just canceled my return appointment and will find other providers.

Great experience! Have been coming for many years and it's always a top-notch visit. Dr Spence was very thorough and the staff friendly as ever. Was happy to see all the precautions being taken during this CV season to make me feel safe!

I have been going to Caris Eye Centers for over 10 years and I have been more than satisfied. They have the best doctors, best staff, best location, best office. True professionals. Grade A.

Our family of five have been going to Caris Eye Center for the last several years. The facilities are beautiful, the doctors and staff are great and their selection of frames are excellent.

We have seen Dr. Payne, Dr. Spence and Dr. Pinksten. They are all very thorough and have good bed side manner.

I have never been a fan of going to see the eye doctor, but never mind going to Caris Eye Center.
