Made an impromptu visit to Capiche. I am always in the mood for pasta and always in a hurry - so this place was perfect for me - a little fast food pasta action can definitely do a body good.
You are able to custom make your own pasta, pizza, piada or salad or you can choose from the options they have listed. I wasn't in the mood to get creative so I selected the angry bird pasta. It had some chicken, bacon, creamy tomato sauce, gorgonzola and some peppers. All together, it took me about 20 minutes of waiting in line and ordering my food to finally get my food. This didn't really bother me to be honest. I was really taken aback by how friendly the staff were and how willing they were to not only greet and smile at each customer but also answer any and all questions we had. This customer service made waiting in line almost bareable.
The food was good and plentiful. I had enough to pack and save for later. The only issue I had was that the pasta and the "toppings" seemed to be separated (pasta was on bottom and "toppings" were on top). If they had mixed the pasta and the "toppings" together it would have made for an even better meal.
As I was eating, I noticed that as soon as their was a lull in the line, the staff would take that time to clean their spaces and the pizza oven. I loved the care they took in ensuring their space was clean and ready.
This place also does carry out and is BYOB (which is never a thing outside of cities). So yay for BYOB. I plan to come back here again soon and next time I will take a stab at making my own custom pasta concoction!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 28, 2017
I came here with my toddler after a busy morning of small business Saturday shopping. It's in a new shopping center and I honestly didn't even know it was there until I pulled in. I saw pizza and knew that unless it was awful my kid would eat it.
It's set up a lot like MOD Pizza or Pie Five. There are several pre-designed pizza/pasta/flatbread options and salads. Or you can put together your own with the various sides available. There are kids options as well.
My son got the kids cheese pizza and DEVOURED it. It's possible he was just hungry but even still he ate it all. That's a pretty big accomplishment. I snuck a taste a it was a solid pizza. Thin and crispy crust. Good sauce to cheese ratio.
I got a make your own pasta. Doesn't appear to be a choice in pasta types but it was properly cooked. I got the creamy tomato sauce, chicken, onions, zucchini and tomatoes. Pretty tasty. I was starved and ate it all. Prices are pretty fair considering portion sizes.
They do not have regular soda. They have "craft" soda. I was beat and my kid was turning into a nightmare so we just shared the juice that came with his pizza.
Locally sourced stuff which is nice and there was plenty of seating. I'll probably go back and this time spend a few minutes actually reading the menu instead of wrangling my child.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Guy F.Annapolis, MD21002Oct 21, 2017
Food tastes fine, but the price... 9 bucks for about 30 cents worth of pasta and barely any chicken?!
The breadsticks are about the size of your pinky and are about a buck a pop.
This may be the worst "bang for buck" place I've seen in Maryland, capiche?Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Amanda H.Glen Burnie, MD24126Dec 10, 2017
Decided to try this place out because it's across the street from my Yoga studio. I ordered online around 4:30 pm and set my pickup time for 7:30 pm.
I ordered the Arty Choke salad and breadsticks. The online ordering platform was super easy to use and I was able to pay online right then.
I walked into the restaurant at 7:35 and my order was sitting on the counter waiting for pickup. I was able to get in and out in less than a minute.
The salad was amazing! It was so good that I didn't have to use the dressing that came with it. The breadsticks were warm and soft, and covered in toasted parmesean. They even came with a side of marinara.
I can't until my next yoga class because I'll definitely be ordering from here again!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 7, 2018
Good food and fairly priced. Check groupon because there is usually one available. Only complaint is the employees move like snails. I am usually the only one in there when I go and it still takes for ever. High school kids that can't multitask and haven't figured out work ethic yet. I mean I guess this world only requires you to be present to get paid...

We tried this place for lunch. There were two people working, so it was a little slow but worth the wait. I got the Petey Pesto pizza with spinach and mushrooms. The pizza is a great deal - $8.50 and easily extends to two meals for me. They forgot the pesto sauce, but the pizza was good enough that I didn't miss it too much.
Husband got a piada and breadsticks. He was less excited about his lunch, but said he'll go back for another try. I can't speak to the piada, but I didn't love the breadsticks. They were pretty dry, and the marinara they served with them was way too salty for my taste.
We'll definitely go back. I'll try a salad if I'm ever in more of a rush, but I think pizza will be my go to.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dennis B.Frederick, MD034Nov 15, 2017
WOW! Piada, atmosphere, one price...I LOVE IT. Will definitely return to try more! Service was great for just opening and the GM came over to ask how everything was.
Great job!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Victoria D.Annapolis, MD3093148Feb 7, 2018
I was so excited for Capiche to open in Severna Park! We have been in need in that area for MTO salads etc.
I knew I loved the food before I walked in once I heard that it was the same people that own/run Cafe Mezzanotte! Capiche did not disappoint! Everything is the same price, you are not charged for extra toppings or dressings. I love the no-nonsense approach to quick table service dining.
What is really unique about this place, is the fact it is BYOB! I haven't tried this out yet since I normally go around lunch (not saying I'm against a good day drink) however, I'm normally on lunch break so have not had a chance! There is a really cool liquor store two doors down that does a discount if you show them your Capiche receipt.
I am gluten free so have only had the salads so I cannot speak to the pasta and flatbreads. I'm hoping they offer a gluten-free flatbread or pasta at some point as I know Cafe Mezz has these options. I love the service, the people working there are so friendly and helpful. The food is fresh and I always like coming here!Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Elissa G.Baltimore, MD172137324Jun 14, 2018
Yummy! It's an Italian Version of Chipotle love it! I got a salad with steak and mushrooms. They let you pick a bunch of toppings and they have pesto to put on top. Only Negative was that the steak was pretty chewy but I wasn't expecting filet mignon. Will def return and try more stuff! The pizza and wraps looks super delicious

Envision this place like a chipotle for pasta or pizza. So it is kinda heaven. They have so many options for toppings and the sauce to pasta ratio was spot on. A very good price that lasted me two full helpings. The only negative I would say is they don't offer an option for noodles, it's only spaghetti. I personally was fine with it, but for to-go orders bow ties or penne might be easier to eat.
