We had breakfast here and the food was pretty good. It's buffet style. The food options seems good. The tater tots were crunchy and the beacon was crisp. We liked one of the chief special dishes, I forgot what it was called and wished they had a more of it. They also have fruits, cereal, toast, pancakes, parfaits and more. Overall we enjoyed the breakfast buffet here.

I hope F&B management consider all of these reviews along with the reviews under "Great Wolf".
When I say this restaurants is absolute garbage... I am not exaggerating! It is SO bad and gross.
For starters, I am not a buffet person but we opted to come here on day 2 to avoid having to drive out - wish we had. It was $90 for absolute garbage! Nothing can compare to how bad the meals were. I would 10x prefer an Egg McMuffin from Mcdonalds over this place.
The chilaquiles were a soggy watery mess. The cinnamon roll and french toast tasted 2 days old and straight cardboard.
I decided for future stays, if any, to treat the trip as a camping trip and pack our separate meals with cereals, fruits, snacks, deli sandwiches, etc.Helpful 4Thanks 1Love this 6Oh no 1 - Nov 1, 2023
We had dinner at Campfire our first night after checking in at Great Wolf Lodge. We had leftover lunch food so my husband and I ate that while we got quesadillas for the kids from Campfire. We did not opt for their breakfast buffet (we just went to Dunkin') because the prices just don't seem worth it.
I usually don't expect anything amazing from resort food so this place is definitely no exception. I do agree with other yelpers that you may save a lot more money if you go outside the resort, but this is not always a feasible option when you're trying to maximize the water park resort experience!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Sharon S.SoMa, San Francisco, CA010Jul 30, 2024

For breakfast buffet three stars is the most we can give which is good given the location. Because even though the food is nothing to rave about, it's convenient and we got there on a Friday morning at 8am and there were plenty of seats and no lines to wait for food. Service was fast and food selection was ok. There were no omelet station sadly and there were no waffles which is one of their specialty (but they had pancakes and French toasts). The seating is typical fast casual hard seats and the location was right next to the water park entrance.
Top tip is to get the discount breakfast voucher when booking the room, which for 2 adults and 1 child is $51 (April 2024), savings of about $19 versus walk-in. If you don't get the voucher I think going to Dunkin's or driving out to McDonald's is a better deal. We stuffed ourselves pretty full (plenty of traditional bf fares, oatmeal, fruits, pastries, etc.) and I didn't feel hungry until after 4pm. So $51 for essentially 2 meals per person is decent in my book.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Aug 14, 2021First to Review
Breakfast hours from 7:30am to 11am
Price: Adult $18.99 and Child $14.99
On the left hand side section, they serve milk and chocolate milk, bananas, green apple and orange
On the second section, they serve bread, toast and pastries
On the third section, they serve pancakes and waffles
The next one serve oatmeal, pan fried potatoes and sausage patties
All self serve except the sausage, scramble egg and bacon section, they have a person who served you.
The last section on the right, they have watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe and grapes in a cup. Also, have smoked salmon bagel with cream cheese, boiled eggs, yogurts and granolas.
Pretty good amount of food.
I have a big shout out for the staffs whose collected all the dirty dishes and spray bottle to clean the complete table including the sides.
I wish they can extend their business hours :)

It's a Buffett so you get a lot of quantity and buffet quality. It's definitely worth purchasing if you have big eaters in your family. The staff does a nice job with turning over the items quickly and the assortment is worth the price.

I wasn't going to post until I noticed a two-year old review has very old pricing. Pricing for the breakfast buffet is:
Adult: $28.99
Child: $14.99
Now, if you think you are getting a $30 breakfast, my oh my, you are sorely wrong. It's not that the food is as horrible as some people are suggesting, it's just below par. This would actually be fine if it was $10/person, but to pay $60 for one adult and two children is highway robbery. We should have left the hotel and gone to a breakfast joint, but this is Manteca. There are not a lot of choices.
If we ever go back to Great Wolf Lodge, unless we get some type of free breakfast deal, we will just get some donuts and coffee at the Dunkin Donuts located in the hotel. There are refrigerators in the room. I might also suggest you just bring some milk and a couple boxes of cereal and save yourself even more money if you're on a budget.
Oh, one last oddity. They have yogurt and granola at the breakfast buffet (my normal morning meal) but no bowls. I'm not kidding. They had paper cups instead. Weird.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Andrew P.Stockton, CA010Feb 21, 2024
the Mexican restaurant in the evening needs some help. they have online ordering, it gives an estimated time and 30 minutes after the time it said and two times talking to them. we finally got our food, but with one entree missing. asked if there was anyone I can talk to and was told no, maybe talk to the front desk.
when I went back a manager found me and asked what was going on. I explained everything and they proceeded to complain about the online ordering and they shouldn't do it. then I had to ask if they are going to charge me full price. she said she could take burrito off, she went to a back room and another 15 minutes and she came back with a receipt with a few things discounted.
the food was ok. not worth the hassleHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dean C.Oakland, CAMar 27, 2022

We came Fri night and the main restaurant here, Barnwood, was an hour wait so we came to this buffet instead. I guess it's what you'd probably expect--definitely there were no surprises in the positive direction.
So, adults are $28.99 and kids 4-14 are $14.99. "Ordering" is kinda weird, but basically I think you can grab what you want as often as you want, but you pay at the cashier the first time.
Anyway, just a few notes...
1. Short Ribs: Tastes like mushy sawdust dough.
2. Brisket: I dunno what it tastes like. But it ain't brisket.
3. Chicken Tenders: The only good thing they have. And by "good" I mean as tasty as well heated frozen chicken tenders from the supermarket.
4. Fettuccine: Okay I lied, this was alright too. The sauce was a little more tasty than standard cream sauce. The noodles were a bit soft, overcooked though.
5. Smiley Fries: Cute. And probably the most disgusting "fries" I've had in a decade.
6. Chocolate cake: Chalky cake. The "frosting" was closer to chocolate syrup.
