Calvary Center Cooperative

This was a beautiful place - well maintained, people friendly but just out of our price range.
I see the other reviewer was not a fan, but if I had the funds, I would certainly want to live here.

Buyer beware. While friendly on the front end when you go to sell you will learn that they don't use MLS to try to sell your unit so be prepared to continue paying a monthly fee for an extended period. They also charge a 6% "transfer fee" when you do sell, regardless of if you bring in your own agent. We were never able to get a straight answer about where that money goes. If you value transparency and integrity steer clear of Calvary Senior Cooperative.

Calvary Center Cooperative has some units available and is a very convenient choice for seniors 55+ to make the move to living in community with other seniors with many different activities for a variety of different interests. They are having Open Houses on Sunday afternoons from 2-4 pm and would be happy to take you on a tour and to discuss the advantages of living in their community. These are very casual and comfortable visits with volunteer members of the marketing committee. It is well worth your time to take a look for yourself, friend or family member who is looking for a safe, friendly place to make new friends and be done with the chores of keeping up a house and yard.

Calvary Center is an immaculately maintained property. This facility provides it's residents 24/7 assistance from property care takers with at least one living on-site. Calvary provides on-site meals, activities and outings to keep the members entertained. Also, there is a garden residents can actually help plant, maintain and harvest. Calvary is an excellent choice for our mature population to call home, and allowing them to live independently with full security you or your loved ones will be well taken care of. The area has a library, shops and other amenities within walking distance. I highly recommend this community.
