I recently purchased a new car and wanted to make sure it was protected.

I've reached out to many different detailing shops and I find that California Detailing provided me the best experience.

Jim took the time on the phone to fully explain everything that I needed to know. This was my first experience getting PPF and ceramic coating.

Had some wall paint transfer over to the front left bumper due to a scrape. Carlos took me in the same day I called and fixed the issue within an hour. He was very honest with me and said he'd do what he can to remove the paint. If there were deep scratches, he suggested he'd recommend someone who professionalizes in fixing that. Luckily that wasn't needed due to his great work. Was happy to pay the $95. Pleasant interaction as well. Would definitely recommend.

If I can give them 6 stars I would. I brought my BMW here for a full paint correction, PPF, and ceramic coating. I bought my car new and for some reason waited until I drove it almost 7K miles, so I already picked up some rock chips and minor imperfections - my expectations weren't incredibly high to begin with that it would look new again. I was completely blown away. My car looks better than the day I picked it up. I even had my neighbors come over and ask who did my detailing work.

The team here did an amazing job from customer service, pricing, answering questions, and treating my car as if it were their own. Don't look any further, this is the place to go. I'll bringing my wife's car here next and mine back for any paint maintenance. Life long customer.

I had my other car detailed at this place before and it was nicely done, but I am really sad about the outcome of the wrapping. The owner Jim and Carlos were nice and friendly. But it was an awful experience for the wrapping. I had to go back for another fix because there were lots of bubbles.

Not professionally wrapped. Keep having the bubbles and they did weird cut out. All the dust went inside the wrap and the weird cut out is really pop. Feel really shame to park my car on the street. Want to peel off the whole thing T_T Tried to call them couple times and no one answered.

Waste of time and money! Not recommend at all :(

Just picked up my Model Y and it looks better than it did when I drove it off the lot. I've never had a detail before but went for interior/exterior and a ceramic coating after doing a bit of research. My car had some treesap on it that I was sure they wouldn't be able to remove without some noticeable damage to the paint (it had dried fully) and they weren't sure they could either... sure enough it's all gone with no damage to the underlying paint.

Jim and team did a a great job on my Tesla Model Y. I got front PPF and full Ceramic coating done. My car looks and feels great! I would highly recommend them to anyone reading this review. Jim was very transparent and upfront throughout the whole process and the car was retuned on time.

TLDR: 2023 Tesla Model Y, Full frontal PPF + 1 layer of ceramic top coat. Great customer service, easy scheduling and payment, and high quality professional work. Will def be coming back for future work!

Long Story:

I bought my first luxury car and I wanted to treat the car the way it deserved to be treated so it's beauty would last longer. I have never done this to any of my cars before so the process of finding a car detailing company that I could trust to recommend the correct package and perform high quality work was overwhelming.

After doing some cursory internet/YT research I reached out to several companies including California Detailing because they had incredible reviews and had posted pictures of working on my car before and we're certified Ceramic Pro dealership.

Jim was very responsive in returning my initial outreach and also followed up with me when I dropped off after a week or so. In our e-mail communication he was nice enough to recommend the most commonly requested packages that Tesla owners like and also kept in mind I had little knowledge of this industry and was also on a budget. I also presumed the price for the services was fair given the quality of work from previous testimonials and me knowing I wanted my car to look good. I ended up going with a ceramic PPF for the entire front half of the car, and 1 layer of ceramic top coat. They were even kind of enough to do some paint correction after I handed them Tesla's paint correction kit that the company sells on their website. Jim was also able to get me in almost the next day. My biggest regret is not scheduling with him the day I got my car. Instead, I waited ~1 month and by then I had a couple very small paint chips on the front bumper.

I picked up my car on the day they said it would be ready and it looked great. I love that they "through" wrap the car meaning they will wrap the PPF behind the edges of panels/lights/bumpers/etc so that you can't see the edge of the PPF. They did a great job. If I was balling on a bigger budget I would have wrapped the whole car, did a 2-step paint correction, and got multiple layers of ceramic topcoat.

A day later after taking the car home I did notice some very small bubbles in the PPF and Jim was really kind to see me again after a couple days and Jeremy and Carlos were able to easily, and quickly fix the very small bubbles without any hassle.

My car looks great, and I feel reassured and at ease on the road knowing. Thanks Jim, Carlos, and Jeremy!
