Nice people in what looks like a dive; but even nicer selection of fresh Kolaches and Donuts. I had a sausage and cheese kolache (pig in a fluffy blanket essentially), and an amazing, melt-in-your-mouth Cajun Apple Fritter (looks like a squashed chocolate glazed donut; but had walnuts, apple, and coconut).

A great, little, quiet coffee and donut find. Great service too!

      The donut drooling case.
The Cajun apple fritters look different but they taste amazing!

I'm only giving a 4 because my man ordered, and had delivered to me as a surprise while I'm sitting here at the hotel working... I only gave the 4 stars because I can't speak for the building appearance or staff, however, the food arrived quickly, and super warm! This is my first time having beignets and oh my Lord! Talk about warm and melting in your mouth! HEAVEN!! Totally worth the taste! Very thankful for my delivered surprise!

I ordered the blueberry donut and the chocolate iced donut. Both were delicious! This is definitely one of the best donut shops I've visited. Someone in my group ordered the red velvet donut and really enjoyed it. (I wish I'd gotten a bite!). Also, the cashier was pretty nice and friendly. If you're ever in the area, give this place a try.

      The BEST kolaches ever

This is a wonderful small town local coffee and donuts shop. I've had some of the donuts but I tend to gravitate towards the kolaches every time I go. Each location seems to have a different unique kolache the pulled pork kolache at the pinkook location is absolutely the best. And the one at this location uses ground meat and some awesome mouth tingling spices baked with a crispy crust that is great as well. The jalapeno and sausage is in a realm of its own. They roll the kolache in chopped up jalapenos and I believe minced garlic that makes them the best around. The kolaches are baked and not fried (seems like everyone around fries them except Shipleys donuts in Alexandria) which is in a category above everyone else. Try them, you will not be disappointed.

I stayed at the Fairfield Inn down the street and was looking for donuts in the area before setting off for the drive back home. Came across this place on Yelp and decided to swing in after seeing that they have boudin kolaches! I pulled into the parking lot and saw that they had a drive thru and for the first time in a long time, I said no way I'm going in to see what all they had to offer.

It was the day after Thanksgiving, and even though I was still stuffed with turkey, I went HAM. My foodie soul took over and I wanted to order one of everything to take home. What I ended up ordering: chocolate glazed, donut holes, raspberry filled, cream cheese filled, beignets, apple fritter donut holes, Cajun kolache, sausage and jalapeño kolache, boudin kolache, breakfast kolache, and chili dog kolache.

The young lady that helped me was patient with me as I made my choices, but she had difficulty hearing me through my mask. She gave me two of one kind and also didn't give me one that she did charge me for. That was disappointing. It was one that I specifically asked her about too. I even went back in to get 3 more boudin kolaches. These were not cheap.

Overall, the boudin kolache was good but a bit on the salty side. The beignets were too dense for my preference. The cream cheese filled was amazing! Like a cheesecake donut. They do not skimp on the filling. I didn't try the chocolate glazed or donut holes but was told that they were average. The apple fritter donut holes were tasty but would be better in its original form.

If I was in the area again, I would return for a couple of items and try a few new ones. Friendly people here and I like supporting local businesses. The experience was cool and it was a nice find on my trip.

I'm a big fan of this place. It's some of the best donuts I've had. I tried the pulled pork bread and it was great. Want to try the maple bacon bar next time

Been coming to Lafayette for years and have never been to this place. Promise you now I will be back. The kalochies are so good and have so many varieties to choose from. Pull pork and sausage/ jalapeño ones are my go to.

These are the best donuts I've ever had in my life and I eat a lot! The staff was very friendly and I tried a kolache for the first time! I had a pulled pork kolache and it was amazing! The glazed donuts were so good I had to go back and get a third one. A definite try

I was looking at the doughnuts in the case but quickly got distracted by the Cajun stuffed bread.

I'm always looking for something that I can't find at home. I'd already devoured boudin from Johnson's Boucanière and Don's Specialty Meats in Scott, so I passed on the boudin kolache.

But that Cajun stuffed bread caught my eye and I was rewarded. Great flavor and the texture of the bread was good.

Workers were friendly and the shop was clean. Nice start to the day before driving back to New Orleans.
