      $5 cannolli?!? Say what?!?

Beware because there are little bugs on the counter and table.

Overpriced and soggy cannolli since they prefill them.

Didn't like the fact that these bugs, looks like mini cockroaches since they are kind of big and brown, were crawling on the table.

People seemed to like the coffee here but I felt rushed to leave since the barista kept looking at me after I ate, like he wanted me to go.

Wanted to give this place 2 stars but since it's a local business I'll give them 3.

I was here pretty early around 8am, after meeting someone. I got an Iced Americano to go, unfortunately the drink that I got was a bit watered down. Don't get me wrong, the guy who took my order was really nice. So that's a bonus! I am rating it a 3 because I wasn't satisfied with 1 - the amount of coffee he gave me was a bit little. 2 - I received a watery coffee that made me go to the restroom. LOL

One last thing, I was planning to buy their cannolli but when I decided to get a closer look. I saw a piece of hair on the cream. Like, that made me feel icky.

Caffee Del Sole is an hole in the wall offering "north beach ambience". just a few tables and seats.

menu: beer, pastries, coffee, pizza?(not sure)

      friendly solicitious service, chatty

      pour: (coffee, 2)
-light roast?, very mild, not exactly smooth

      drips:
      -friendly service.
-not sure i would repeat, many coffee options nearby.

Small little coffee shop with comfortable seating inside. The barista really takes the time to make your coffee. Makes my coffee feel personal and at home. Sat here for about an hour working on my computer since they have pretty good wifi and pillows around to spend the morning. The bagels here also look pretty good. Might try that next time I have time around the neighborhood.

Was going to dinner next door at the Mandalay and the line took forever for a table so I stopped by here for a quick americano and a piece of the tirumisu. Both were just amazing and the owner was very very friendly. I love supporting little businesses like this and it's not hard when they serve up amazing coffees and dessert like this!

Thanks for doing an americano properly. Water first, then espresso!

Do you ever notice how most cafes get away with being total dumps? Like, mismatched furniture and a chalkboard menu can only take you so far. There's a point where most cafes cross over from "charmingly bohemian" to "schizophrenic shithole" in the decor category, and combined with the fact that most of them serve mediocre coffee and dried-out excuses for pastry, well, let's just say San Francisco cafe culture is a piss poor showing. I just feel like doing the grandmother backslap and being like, "stand up straight! get it together! you look like a hobo!"

So, I appreciated Caffe Del Sole because it's got a unifying theme. It's Italian. That's their schtick. They've got Italian art, Italian employees, pictures and mementos from the motherland, and some classy metalwork. There's no musty carpet and salvage furniture; there's snazzy metal tables and a vibe like at any moment a swarthy futbol team might saunter in and order up some Illy. Actually I don't even know if they serve Illy. But that's how unified their theme is, see?

Anyway, the cafe americano was totally adequate, and the service was friendly, and it's just the perfect thing in this slightly awkward location. Pronto!

Free wifi, an outlet to plug into, and seating by a window. Sounds real good to me. Cheap house coffee, which is even better for me.

The place is small and cozy, perfect for an afternoon spent working on the computer. Like right now.

      Plenty of soul.

Soccer seems to be the only television channel.

      Patrons converse in Italian.

Friendly staff makes things like smooth triple shot Lavazza Americanos, brilliant bagels with eggs and jam and delicious spaghetti with chunks of tuna.

Don't forget the rotating selection of homemade desserts. Was fortunate to be there for the divine chocolate cake with vanilla frosting.

Perhaps not the cheapest but definitely one of the most endearing in both eats and enthusiasm. Sold on the soul.

Formerly Cool Beans, Caffe Del Sole is a quaint cafe situated on California Street--a good alternative to the cafes on Clement. It's got the requisite tables and chairs, including a few out front. There's also a computer in the back for those who lack a laptop.

The 'pour your own coffee' was decent--definitely nothing to write home about. They also offer tea and a menu of food if you need a quick bite. The staff was extremely friendly, noticeable in their interactions with the steady flow of regular patrons coming in. The welcoming atmosphere makes it a nice place to chat, but it doesn't get too loud that getting some work done is impossible.

      DRINK:
Just got tea.. But they do offer beer, wine, coffee

      SERVICE:
      Normal. Free wifi avail!

      ATMOSPHERE:
Small place to work, has a bathroom, has avail outlet.. Atmosphere not really my kind of atmosphere, but .. the feel conjures that of being in a foreign place with the warm sun beaming down when it's about to set.... 1031
