Come enjoy brunch or lunch 7 days a week on our spacious patio, or just relax with one of our many flavors of mimosas and enjoy the view. Small groups preferred. ( We only sit 35 so large party's triple the wait time) No dogs on the patio please.…

In my opinion price doesn't worth the food.
I got a omelettes for $17 which was ok and ordered an extra egg with some slide of tomatoes. Waitress said we just can order 2 or 4 eggs. So, I had to order 2 eggs and was charged for $15!
Cappuccino was not good, it was just milk and foam!
In fact, they are a local cafe teria which is ok but price is more expensive than a good restaurant!

We went here with a group of six girls to celebrate a birthday. There were only two tables dining, we went for brunch. They had a great menu, and the server was very helpful and knew all the dishes and ingredients well.
We ordered everything from lox and bagels, crêpes to French omelettes and traditional eggs Benedict and of course we were bringing on the birthday mimosas of every kind they had, which were basically every juice you wanted. The food was pretty good but it was very quiet and almost to the point where it was uncomfortable because maybe they were shortstaffed or just not busy as they seemed to want us to rush. It wasn't exciting and celebratory but the food was decent and the company was excellent so being that I was in a happy place. I'm giving them a four. Unfortunately, with the group of Bday partying girls we didn't get any pictures of food but we did grab one outside of the Bday girl!

      Update to Antoine :
My daughter lives very close by on Canada St. She goes to Antoine's and here. She loves them both and suggested it. This was several months ago, sorry I was wrong about the bagels. Probably too many Mimosas:)
I am on your email list as well!

Stopped her for breakfast during our girls weekend. We were looking for yummy food and a cute vibe and this place has both.
The waitress was great. We ordered the bennys one salmon and one pork belly. And then also the egg white frittata. The presentation of the tea was great we were sold.
Everything delicious we would definitely come back and enjoy another brunch

Cafe Mimosa is such a cute and aesthetically pleasing environment to have a cute brunch with the girls. If you need a place to take some pictures for your Instagram posts then I would come here. The food was absolutely delicious! The pancakes with fruit was amazing! The fruit was super fresh and sweet! The protein hash was also yummy! The smashed potatoes were incredible! I would highly recommend get a side of them with your meal! 10/10 would come again!

Pork belly Benedict is so good! But wait! After our server mentioned the crème brûlée French toast and insisted we try it since it was our first time....wow! This is not to be missed! Love the coffee, love the service!

Split the pork belly Benedict (split charge $3) the house potatoes were cooked perfectly.service was fine, not very personal, no clue what the name was or anything else .

You want to start your beautiful beach day? Get your Mimosa from this place and walk down to the pier.

I have been here twice and both times we got coffee and Mimosa !well, yes Beach Breeze and Alcohol have correlation.

We didnt order food but from the look on our neighbor's tables ,they are great for brunch and egg dishes

First time here. The wait wasn't too bad given the long line-about 20 minutes. Cute little place with French influence.
We had the Crème brûlée French toast with blueberries it was very good. The roasted vegetable sandwich was fresh filled with red pepper, portobello, and tomato . We substituted salad for fries. Both great choices.

Their outgoing telephone message says, "If you need more information, stay on the line." Click. It disconnects. Tried again. Same thing. I mentioned that when we arrived and... they know about that. And are not very friendly.

We were told it would be a :20 - :25 wait at 10:30am on Friday. An hour and ten minutes later....

      The food was good, though.

The main reason for my trip to the area was to pick up a gift card from Nick's San Clemente. I arrived 45 minutes before the restaurant opened... I had some time.

I started walking towards the water; enjoying the late morning. I hadn't been walking more than a couple of minutes and happened to pass Café Mimosa. I glanced @ the semi-packed patio and continued walking. I vaguely remembered Café Mimosa popping up on yelp* and having a good overall rating. I was hungry, Café Mimosa was only a few doors down from Nick's San Clemente... I had some time. I pivoted around on my heels and entered the small, quaint, bistro-like cafe.

I was immediately greeted by Olivia, who offered me a seat. She gave me the option of sitting inside or out on the patio. I briefly thought of the enjoying the patio but it was semi-crowded. In addition, it was a brisk, winter day and as much as I liked the idea of eating out on the patio, warm & comfortable won.
Note: Inside seating is limited; four small tables. (I can see why the wait here can lengthy, especially on the weekend.)

I glanced over the menu that had some very tasty sounding items. I do enjoy a good eggs Benedict; Café Mimosa offers a nice variety.

WAIT! Pork Belly?!! - I had to read it twice, pork belly?... Wha'?! That sounds just too amazing to be true... 'And completely unhealthy. That's exactly what I'll be having!

      The order:
      Pork Belly Benedict ($24) Great!

      Total: $41 (+tip)

One word, "Dead'cadence," as in this delicious meal is going to kill me. So fatty and rich; guaranteed to clog at least two of your main arteries. Yep, I'm gonna die! Pork belly is the steak strips of the hogs!... 'Or is it gods?.... 'Or god hogs?... However, it's one of those things that you should limit to only once a year; if you want to live to see the next. Did I mention, I'm gonna die?
      Photo - https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=DLYTHiLSO1SBHPMZJ9qKdg&userid=O6EBodP3Fgu_n67efSKnBQ

The o'hana is from Hawai'i and if you know anything about locals, we enjoy our kaukau... 'And pork belly is an island favorite. Most often it's served as a pupu(appetizer), along with poke; great for get-togethers and talking story.

The Pork Belly Benedict was very rich with plenty of belly. The two generous size cuts on the plate were cooked to a golden brown. It looked like I hit the motherlode! These two, softball sized, gold nuggets were drizzled in Café Mimosa's own hollandaise sauce. The in-house made sauce had a reddish tint to it; added paprika.

After my first bite, I knew I had signed my own death warrant; that's one more artery closed for business. Generous portions; there was no way in hell that I was going to be able to eat that second piece. Well, at least not in one sitting.

The House Potatoes were also very good; not overly seasoned. The added green onions sprinkled on top went nicely with the potatoes; think deconstructed baked potato without the sour cream.

Olivia came by my table twice to check on me; her recommendation for the "Belly Benne," was the right one! Mahalo Olivia!

Will definitely be back; the Mimosa BLT sounds good... 'But would request a slather of Philly Cream Cheese on it. (If you enjoy a BLT, next time try it with a bit o' cream cheese... A'aaand you're welcome!) I look forward to returning here when I'm back in the area.
