Just went to Cactus Tint to get my Tesla window tinted and was blown away by how amazing this company is. Both Rick and Sabrina truly care about their customers and doing whatever it takes to make the customer happy and get returning customers. From start to finish they did an amazing job and fast. Give them a call and you will be very pleased!

Rick, Sabrina and the team at Cactus are the best we have ever dealt with for tint and PPF. I have had three cars serviced and the attention to detail is what sets Cactus apart, their work is perfect, which is not something that is easy to achieve.

Top-tier service from Rick and his team. He asks a bunch of questions to figure out what exactly your needs are and offers suggestions on how he'd pick his film. He's very transparent about all the options and doesn't push you to buy the most expensive one. It's also nice that the parking lot has a bunch of cars he's done so you can compare percentages.
Very fair price. Quick turnaround on my short-notice appointment. Results are perfect. He even set me up with a loaner car so I could go to work while they had my car. For sure will be bringing my wife's car in next.
(in photos - 5% on the back, 15% on the rear side windows, and AZ legal (35%) on the front sides).

Another satisfied customer. Cactus did my UV protection and tint for all my windows plus a PPF bra for the hood, front panels, and headlights of my Tesla Model Y 2023. By now you probably have come to the conclusion that the entire state of AZ is essentially a big pile of rocks along the highway and paint damage is certain so you need to either prepare or just live with it. My Tesla exterior is white and for all intents and purposes, the PPF is invisible.
The entire job took 2 days and it was finished right on schedule. My impression is that Rick (owner) has done this for a long time and he'll stand behind this if something happens years later, like tint bubbles.
I moved to Scottsdale and this is the first time I've had a car with such a UV problem because you're in a fish bowl. The rear passenger windows for Tesla come from the factory with dark glass but that does zero for heat. I chose 70% tint for the rear windows and 30% for the front windows and 70% for the windshield so the tint overall is consistent. That said, I don't want a car that looks like a limousine and my privacy isn't a major concern and my white car seats are still visible from the exterior. Also if you pick dark tint you might find that bright lights at night look weird, but I see none of that.
A couple of other suggestions. First, if you want to reduce UV you really need to do all the windows including the roof and rear window. Second, you want someone like Cactus (or other shops) who can cover the windshield with a single piece of film, not two pieces. Lastly, despite all the UV film product marketing in the world, this no silver bullet, but still, it does help a lot.

Rick and his team quoted every option for my vehicle, and steered me to the right value (which was not the most expensive product they offer). That speaks volumes to their integrity. They won't sell you on something you won't get the benefit from. Great team, and a great experience. Scheduled a few days out, completed same day. One minor hangup with their new text based notification system that they're working through. Thanks!

Rick and his team went way above and beyond. I went in for a simple tint removal and fresh tint not sure of exactly how dark, or what type of film I was looking for. Rick and his team took the necessary time to ensure they nailed my tint job well beyond my expectations. They really took time to understand my greater endeavor(s) in modifying my 4runner. The professionalism, attention to detail, and overall customer service is second to none. 10/10 guys. Looking forward to working with you in the future. Thanks again!

I wished I had more information before I had my windows completed. Things I didn't know and wished I did: you're expected to drop your car off in the morning and leave it there all day (like 9-4:30), it's additional $200 for labor on top of the tint cost, and then if you have current tint that has to come off, it's $300 on top of that.
The waiting area is nice. There's a generous play bin of toys if you have kids. It's nice that you can experiment and look at all the different types of tint. My car windows look amazing right now and the person who helped me choose my tint was very helpful.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Lee,
Prices are quoted and stated prior to the start of any job. No hidden labor costs it’s merely a portion of the job and is in the quote and no tax is applied on labor. Removal takes more time to complete and there is no money in removing film believe me. I’m glad you like the job and thanks for the business. If you have any questions please reach out to me personally.

Professional, courteous, accommodating. Looks fantastic, great install. Have lots of options to choose from, will walk you through and help you choose the best option - for your budget, the look you're going for, can even compare heat transfer between the different films. Especially great for Teslas. Have gotten tinting done there twice, would never consider going anywhere else. Thanks Rick and the rest of the team!
