      If I could give no stars I would. Cablevision must have the worst costumer service I've ever encountered. If your home/apartment can receive other cable services: Fios, Time Warner, etc I would try them first.

      When I called Cablevision to hook up my cable in my new apartment, they came and found that I have no cable wiring in my apartment because the person who lived here before me never had cable. I needed to be referred to another department, so that someone could come wire my apartment. Since then (we are going on about 3-4 weeks, I have not been able to get a hold of anyone to make an appointment. I call everyday and they tell me that they are working on it and someone will get back to me shortly. BUT NO ONE DOES.

      Hopefully, one day soon I can watch something other than old dvds...

      So, apparently Cablevision/Optimum changed their billing address 2 months ago with little or no notice. I continued to pay my bill through my bank each month. But, they turned off my internet service due to lack of payment!
      Checks went out. Someone got them. I offered proof with confirmation numbers but no. After spending more than an hour trying to get this fixed. I failed. I must wait 48-72 hours for someone to get back to me. COVID circumstances with allowances made all over but not here! It doesn't matter that I have someone working from my apartment who needs the internet!
      Guess who will be canceling this company!

      1 star is too much for this company. This is by far the worst customer service company I have ever experienced. Internet is very slow, it always seems to have outages. Worst of all, I called to cancel the service and they had me on the phone for over an hour to cancel the service. I would never ever do business with optimum or Cablevision.

      I woyld give ZERO STARS if it was possible! They never call back. After saying they are "unusually busy EVERY time I have called & leave my number for a call back in the next 2 mins. They dont call, ALL day. Optimum is the WORST company out there. I've NO choice because I reside in a co-op & have been waiting for Fios forever. Now that Fios has finally come & installed "some" of their equipment the co-op is playing games. Saying its Verizon's fault that they are waiting on the optic people to finish the job.
      Verizon says they need access and payment from General Manager. Whatever the case, Optimum knows it has people by the ****s. I'm currently paying for NO special channels or anything, just channels 1-15 maybe & my bill is over $38! For regular old fashion channels!?! I use Roku w/ Nerflix & Amazon, suits me well. But... Optimum I've 2 words for you & they are NOT Happy Birthday.

      Noticed that they are now charging an Network Enhancement fee for my internet. This fee is to upgrade their infrastructure. Definitely a scam and shady practice by Cablevision/Optimum online as this should be incorporated into the monthly service plan and not as an additional fee.

      Not happy with the service anymore. And the new support app sux. The last app was very helpful and easy to use but this new app is no help at all. Then when I call and have to talk to stupid people because the internet just cut out for no reason I am left on the phone for nearly an hour waiting to talk to someone and then told I have to wait 2 days to get any one out to check the service. Again the last app I just typed I. That my service went out and whithin hours someone came out and check the wires outside and the service was returned, I didn't have to talk to anyone and they never had to come inside. Now I have to wait 2 days for someone to come and I have to actually wait for them to arrive, it's like no one is aloud to have a life when something happens because we have to sit and wait for bullshit help. I think it is time to change internet providers.

      Rush here to arrive at 5:25 pm with cable box. Doors already bolted and nobody in sight despite posted business hours of 8:30 am to 5:30 pm for Tuesday.

      I want to give them a ZERO or "MINUS 5-10"!!!! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I've been a customer for over 10 yeas and they have NO RESPECT for loyal customers. Over a year ago, I spent hours explainting to them that I don't have a TV. Finally, they just put phone and internet on my bill, but this month again they charged me the old fee - even more than that - saying that the old fee was a promotion. When I explained to them they I still have no TV, only phone and internet, they totally did not get it!!! Each year I have fight battles to stop my bill from skyrocketting. They're just after you to make their money and will use EVERY TRICK AND LIE to raise your bill for no logical reason. THIS IS JUST AN OUTRAGE. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!!!!
