HOT CHIKY REVIEW:
Pre warning: I love by CHLOE and I only am dairy-free and red meat free. I have tried chickfila and Popeyes spicy chicken sandwich is what I am trying to say ;)

It's their tempeh tenders on potatoe bun. I wish it was one tempeh patty, because it falls apart.

It was not nearly spicy enough, so if you are mild at heart, you can handle this with a glass of milk!

I really enjoy sauces, and was told that by CHLOE has the best ketchup. I was not disappointed! I wasn't too hungry so only tried the sweet potato fries and sauces and the pesto pasta. The fries were standard, but definitely worth it to get them to try the aioli and beet ketchup! The latter's got the tart-sweetness of typical ketchup but the flavor's dominantly beet; truly a genius creation. The pesto was actually kind of heavy. There's a good amount of texture, specifically crunch, to it, and I especially appreciated the choice in pasta. It was quite crowded when I went pre-quarantine, but the staff's great and efficient. Overall think it's a great spot to grab a pretty healthy and filling bite in a casual setting.

Ordered a couple salads, mac & cheese, and sweet potato fries during quarantine times. Everything hit the spot! by CHLOE still never fails to disappoint.

What a dependable, delicious, VEGAN!!! takeout place (chain). Although I do dearly miss Coffee Shop (the ubiquitous shop that served reliable and solid coffee and food), I guess worse things have happened than for By Chloe to take its place. Bright colors, happy lighting, friendly staff. Love the new menu additions with the chickpea tenders and of course, my personal fave the classic spicy thai salad.

I'm sad that they discontinued the NYU student discount, but everything is pretty reasonably priced and delicious, and they now have their own rewards program (through the app Thanx; if I refer you, we can both get a free sweet!).

In my most recent memory, I've had the Kale Caesar Salad, Classic Burger, the Avocado Pesto Pasta, the Bisque, the Mushroom Barley Soup, and the Banana Walnut Bread.
The salad is quite different from a typical Caesar Salad, in the best way possible. Maple croutons add a solid crunch and sweetness that make the rest of the vegetables taste more interesting. I loved this! It was also more filling than the other two mains I've tried.
The Classic Burger offers something new--it's not like other vegan burgers that try to taste like meat. You KNOW it's vegan, but it's okay, because you're here for your tempeh/lentil fill. Personally, I find the patty and the buns a little dry, plus it's not that filling.
The Avocado Pesto Pasta is also not super filling, but is delicious! I paired it with the Bisque, which was perfect. I liked the Mushroom Barley Soup as well. I want to try the new Chicky tenders, but they're a bit pricey for non-meat...

Sweets-wise, I've only had the Banana Walnut Bread. Thick, packed with nuts and some chocolate (I think?), it was super tasty, albeit weak banana flavor.

The service here is pretty great; I'm always greeted with a friendly face. One time during lunchtime when the restaurant was packed and my friend and I quickly snagged seats and still attempted to keep an eye/hear out for our order, the manager delivered my pasta and soup (I ordered them separately after seeing how small the pasta was) directly to my seat.

So so yummy! I'm not a vegetarian or vegan, but I was looking for healthy food options and this place definitely exceeded my expectations! I got the classic burger with their Mac n Cheese, both were a killer combo! I also had a taste of their quinoa taco salad and it was PACKED with flavor! I loved every bite of the items I got and definitely will be coming back for more.

I took off one star because it was extremely crowded and dirty when I walked in there. It wasn't a huge deal but finding a clean table was a bit hard. The servers were very friendly though.

This was a random delivery order that turned out to be sooooo good!! The lentil patty on the Guac burger is *chef kiss* this is definitely my new spot.

By Chloe is vegan perfection, if you want healthy food, there are salads, and if you want to indulge yourself, there are options like mac & cheese with shiitake bacon. I eat at By Chloe at different locations about once a week, the menu hardly ever changed but I'm not tired of their food either. My favorites are Spicy Thai Salad and Mediterranean Salad, I always pick one between the two.

I have been to By Chloe several times in several different locations.  Most recently I went for lunch in the West Village.  It wasn't crowded, which was nice. I have been to By Chloe at times when I couldn't find a seat, but at around 11:30am finding a seat was easy and the environment was pretty relaxing. It did seem to rapidly get busier starting around noon.

We ordered a Kale Caesar salad and a Quinoa Taco salad.  The kale caesar salad has some nice ingredients: shiitake bacon, avocado, maple croutons, and sunflower seeds, among other things.  It is a good salad, but not really my taste.  My wife liked it a lot.

The quinoa taco salad is much more up my alley.  It is loaded with quinoa, seitan chorizo, beans, corn, avocado, and plenty of other delicious ingredients.  I have also tried the Spicy Thai salad in the past, which is also really delicious.  The salads are always very filling and fresh.

By Chloe can be good or bad value depending on what you get.  The salads are good value; they are large with many ingredients and are quite filling.  I wouldn't recommend getting a sandwich or burger.  They are honestly somewhat small considering the price and you will need to buy a side dish or will be left hungry unless you are one to not eat too much.

Overall, By Chloe is a nice spot for lunch if you can find a seat.  The food is really tasty for vegetarians and omnivores alike.  They manage to turn all vegetarian ingredients into quite creative and satisfying flavors.  Check it out for a solid lunch experience.
