This is our 4th visit to this restaurant. Unfortunately, it is also the first time we've had such a disappointing experience here. Both of our special lunch orders ($19 each) were salmon which came with steamed broccoli.
The broccoli was good, but both salmon entrees were dry which did not match our past experience with this plate. A visit to the restroom was abbreviated because it was very dirty. To top it off, a cockroach ran across our table at the end of the meal. Just in case you are wondering, this restaurant sports an "A" rating from the Health Department.
I am aware that this restaurant has received above average reviews and hope our experience is an aberration. Nonetheless, we will not be returning.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Gerry C.Henderson, NV59910Sep 21, 2022Updated review
I don't know what happened but the spaghetti sauce tasted like they poured the tomatoes from the can onto the pasta and meatballs were not good. Got this to go and we both threw it away. Soooo sad. Kimberly check your chefs.

Dec 27, 2014Previous reviewHad dinner here two hours ago. Dinner was fine it was the price that through me for a loop. Had a 1/2 antipasto which was excellent for $11.95. Ordered s medium pizza with sausage mushroom and anchovies. Received a large pizza. Oh well we'll just take the rest home. The bill came and it seemed like $49.34 was a lot for the salad one glass of wine and pizza. The pizza was $18.95 no problem but $2.75 for sausage, $2.75 for mushrooms and a whopping $$3.50 for anchovies. I had to ask the server if there were mushrooms on the pizza. He said I can see some. $28 for the pizza and hardly mushrooms or anchovies.
It's a shame. I was there on their opening day in 2002 and been a devoted customer since. I don't think I'll order pizza there again. - Jul 14, 2018
While visiting a friend that lives in Henderson we decided to try out this place. It is located in a strip mall. She dropped off her dogs to be groomed which was a few store/doors down.
We came when it was pretty empty. It's nothing special inside but it is clean and spacious. The service was very good.
My friend ordered the lunch spaghetti with meat sauce and asked for cheese to be baked atop. I ordered the NY style eggplant. We both agreed the portions were large, our meals were served nice and hot and the cheese seemed really fresh and of high quality. My one 'complaint' is that the food was very salty...at least to me it tasted salty.
Overall I'm glad we went.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Moses H.Las Vegas, NV485621711Feb 25, 2019Updated review
Juat got a large peppers and meat ball pizza that was perfecto!
The pizza was cooked up quickly and the toppings tasted fantastic.
Think next time I'm going to try out some of the pasta dishes here and a bottle of red!
Good customer service at the counter when I picked up my order as well.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0Feb 10, 2019Previous reviewJust came to the new location.. tons of more room and customers. But customer service is down from my previous experiences with this resturant at the old location.
Got the mailer coupon for the free spaghetti with the XL pizza. Alert these coupons are for take out only!!!!! Thank God I showed to him as we ordered our drinks. I was hoping they would allow me to eat here but the server simply told me no it's only on take out.
Sigh.... Ok well I sit for a few minutes but it felt odd so we went to the store across the way to grab some beers. When we come back the pizza is ready but they forgot to put in the spghettie so pizza getting cold now and still waiting on the pasta.
I certainly won't be back. Too bad.
Okay I got home and for the chicken pesto Pizza it supposed to come with sun-dried tomatoes and they ran out of it so I took the liberty of just putting regular tomatoes on it which is a a cheaper topping so let me get this right they want to charge almost 30 bucks for a regular pizza with chicken pesto and regular Tomatoes wow.
Berry the manager is a condensing jerk. Avoid this placeMar 10, 2018Previous reviewJust came to the new location.. tons of more room and customers. But customer service is down from my previous experiences with this resturant at the old location.

The flavor of the food was great, the red sauce tasted like someone spent the time of cooking down the sauce, like homemade sauce my mother in law makes. The prices was a little inflated is my only complaint. The garlic bread was 6 bucks by itself. Overall though I didn't have to wait long and they made my order quickly. I will definitely come back when I have an Italian food hankering and I don't want to go to the strip. Glad I found this little joint.

I love this place! You'll love this place too, especially if you love garlic! Kimberly who is the owner is very sweet and does this place really good. They have an amazing garlic olive oil dip which is accompanied by nice warm bread and is complimentary. We O.D'd on that. I am a vegan so I asked about vegan options. Kimberly told me they don't have a vegan menu but they do have vegan options. If you just ask, they will let you know what the options there are. I ended up having pasta Primavera which was so delicious that my eyes rolled back in my head. My friend had the chicken cappellini. He truly enjoyed his meal as well. Can't wait to come back! Also, on a sidenote, Mondays are half off of their bottled wine! we got a white wine that is normally $32 for $16. Wine and pasta what could be better?

We got such a good pizza with mushroom & meat ball for our dinner. The deliver time is fast with such a good friendly service! We are living far away from the business but when the food came to us still hot & fresh like just made. The pizza crust isn't too thick, not thin not very crunchy. Such a big & delicious pizza!

Came in for the first time tonite since the old Giadas moved out. First, host stand was not manned. Thats a big no-no in the restaurant biz. We stood at the host stand for 5-6 mins and several waiters looked at us but ignored us intentionally. I was about to walk out when a waiter came over to seat us.
Interior: very plain. Holes and scrapes in the walls. Also they are using throw away paper on the tables; now thats rediculous for a nice Italian place. It's just kind of looks a little rundown and dirty.
We ordered appetizers and they came out wrong. Upon telling the waitress they were the wrong food items she gave me a look like I had two heads. Correct appetizers were delivered and they were aweful. I had the wedding soup and it was obviously out of a can and so salty I could not finish it. In fact one hour after I eat the soup as I sit here typing miss the taste of salt in my mouth is so bad yuk!
Main course was good. Not great but good. We had pasta. Our waiter also never came back for drink refills and we had to hunt him down to ask.
Prices were a bit higher than in the center valley but in Hendo its always a bit more. I'm not saying the place is overpriced I felt that the food we got for the price was actually fair.
They need to spruce the place up a bit and work on training their wait staff on better service.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 1, 2018
Same restaurant - different location. We were in the Anthem Center and saw that Buon Gusto opened right here just 2 weeks ago, so we really wanted to be supportive and try it. The restaurant has 2 small rooms. The one away from the door has a bar area with 2 TVs (hockey game on while we were there). Our server, Drilon, was at our table very soon after we sat to get the drink order. Drilon is super friendly, the type of server you like immediately and will overlook a lot. Good thing we weren't in a hurry cause it took a really long time for him to come back to get our main order. And then an even longer time for the food to arrive. The meal comes with soup or salad. We each went with a salad. A little heavy handed on the dressing, so next time I will get dressing on the side. Overall, a pretty good side dinner salad. I ordered the chicken cacciatore with a side of penne in marinara sauce ($17). The chicken came buried in a brown sauce - to the point where you couldn't see the chicken. Not a great presentation. A fairly large portion and quite tasty. The penne made its appearance much later and was room temperature. My wife got the chicken Angelo, her go to dish when trying a new Italian restaurant. It was just OK. For her pasta side she asked for penne. Instead she got the meal served over fettuccine. Not a major offense except we were charged an extra $1.50 for the pasta for her dish. When I asked why her pasta side was an extra $1.50 while each of the other sides were included in the meal, I didn't understand the reasoning but I wasn't going to spend a lot of time on it for $1.50.
I was torn between 3 and 4 stars, but the very friendly service and my dish being so tasty, I rounded up. Can't get too upset with the slow service - they are only open at this location for 2 weeks. I definitely will try them again once they have settled in.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - 115293869Feb 25, 2018
This review is overdue and is based on my experience at their old location. Really good locally owned Italian restaurant. Have only been here for lunch.
Chase was our server. He was so nice and told us it was his first day serving. He did such a good job serving and was eager to please.
Started off with complimentary bread served with butter and a really good garlic infused dipping oil. Had the lasagne and the lunch special of penne pasta with vodka sauce. Served with a really fresh salad. One of the cooks came out and asked how everything was which I always appreciate them asking.
The lunch special was a good sized serving. I even had leftovers to take home but that could be because of the salad or that I ate a whole loaf of bread with the insanely good dipping oil.
Other people eating were a mix of local couples or families and business people on their lunch breaks.
Now I need to visit them in their new location. Get out and support local businesses and help your neighbors do a little happy dance by supporting them :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Benjaman B.Las Vegas, NV1664516Sep 16, 2017
This is a quaint little place that appears to be family owned and operated.
When entering I noticed lattice with plants running down, small tables with green and brown checkerboard patters (they were plastic mats, kinda lazy) and lots of small nooks covered in assorted items. It's feels a bit cramped with the beer fridge, wine rack, and wait station all in the dining room, but overall seems to work.
I ordered spaghetti and meatballs ad I fell that it's the true way to measure an Italian restaurant. If they can't do that right, walk out and never return. I have had quite a lot of frozen meatballs, sauce from a bottle and overcooked pasta. This was NOT one of those places. The meatballs were about baseball size and obviously fresh. I was sitting close enough to the kitchen to hear what was going on, and never heard a microwave.
The meatballs were seasoned and browned well and you could taste the fresh basil. The sauce was perfect as was the pasta.
The only thing I did not agree with was the wedding soup: tasteless, bland, and barely warm.
I would definitely return.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
