Build A Scoop

We came in on a Sunday. There was no wait.

The atmosphere/decor is a treat in itself. There is no seating with tables inside but here are two tables outside.

The employee was very friendly at the register. Very welcoming and provided a lot of information.

We ordered two if their best seller " a little slice of heaven". The gelato comes in a clear dixie cup with about six ounces of ice cream.

When we ordered at the register there was a little sticker shock on the price point.

I would return but I would either share or I would get a smaller portion to allow a more wallet friendly option.

The gelato is good however for five days in the freezer so if you don't finish it that's a plus. If I opted for that I would get what I ordered sans whip cream.

My kid got some sherbet sweet ice cream, way too much sweetness for me but he loved it. I was most displeased with how long it took to get our order. I just hope it's not too long next time.

Oh also I liked the fact they tried making the wall interactive, too bad lots of it is either broken or not working.

This place is amazing! I would say they are right up there with cold stones, the main difference is that Build a Scoop has Gelato.

I ordered a custom order, (L) salted caramel gelato mixed with blueberries & one brownie. Drizzled with caramel and fudge.

Portions for a large is adequate. Not too much and not too little, good enough for us

This is such a nice ice cream shop. They have every flavor you can imagine and so many toppings to add to it and make it your very own.
Guys, they have pie, pie to add in it, on it and to it!
Customer Service is awesome as well!

We were so excited to try this place but came away SO disappointed. We were served our selections in what looked like beige cups you would serve coffee in. The pictures we had seen that drew us to Build A Scoop all had see-thru cups with an abundance of ice cream and toppings. That is not what we were served. Having selected two items that were both nearly $10 each, we were super disappointed and likely won't return.

This is a great concept with a fantastic store interior but, we would get more for our money at Cold Stone. :(

Drove for an hour to find out that this place is closed for the day even though their business hours say they are open. What a huge disappointment. Can't even connect to their phone line.

Great place if you're wanting a sweet treat. Tons of options here. The asthenics are on point with their Steampunk theme. Even some of the decor is interactive. I found this place b/c of TikTok. Making a video viral and popping up on my FYP, I had to check it out. Especially, since it's local.

So many options here, you're sure to find something that you'll like. Abundance of toppings, make sure to check-in with Yelp to get 1 free topping. Toppings are .50 cents each.

For the price, I was expecting a larger portion. This place was just okay for me. My ice cream was served in a paper cup. It was served much different than the viral video I saw. Coming with high expectations, I left just a little underwhelmed. Also, the trash was overflowing outside so curb appeal was not giving me what it's supposed to give with that eye-sore.

Plenty of parking and parking lot is easy to maneuver in and out with ease. Will I be back? For me, probably a one and done.

Today was my first time here so first up disclaimers .. it was about 745- 8pm on a very cold pretty rainy valentines night. When we walked in there was a few people waiting and only a couple people working. We were caught off guard at the fact that they are making your Gelato creation to order. And I don't mean assembling it like coldstone. No. I mean there are tanks of nitrogen and mixers so that your Gelato creation is fresh to order. They have lots of signature pie creations that have a slice of pie in them and they have loads of other concoctions plus a build your own option. I am huge sweets lover especially ice cream and this place literally is now at the top of my list. I tried what they call a Bate Bate Chocolate and it is absolute heaven on earth. I cannot wait to come back and try other flavors.
