This regional sports complex has been open for three years and I'm the first to review of thousands who have attended tournaments and played on the fields since 2017. This meticulously maintained and clean facility is on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base and operated by the City of Goldsboro Parks and Recreation Department. There are a total of 8 all weather fields, 6 natural hybrid Bermuda grass fields and two artificial turf. A designated championship field, concession stand, 500+ paved parking spaces, spotless restrooms and a cross country course round out the amenities. A splash pad is coming soon! These rectangular fields serve teams of all ages and abilities playing soccer, football, lacrosse, field hockey and ultimate frisbee. Whether you're traveling here to compete or a local resident signing up for a hometown athletic league, you'll be proud to hear jets overhead from the Air Force's premiere F-15E strike eagle fighter wing and combat wing.
