      I tried this cleaner because it's near my house, and it's been around for a long time, will definitely not be going back! Not only is there a price almost twice what I normally pay down the street, but they return to me a blouse that was 100% cotton and it was still just as wrinkled as when I dropped it off. I have no idea if it's clean but it's definitely not pressed.

      Wow this happened to be a real poor class of ownership I have ever been through. I was missing two shirts from my routine cleaning, went back to ask and the owner was there so I thought I was going to get this resolved as soon as possible. Well, she basically said, and I quote "Maybe there in my trunk of my car" I have an Audi in immaculate shape with my trunk in immaculate condition to assume I may have a messy trunk was an insult and basically stereotyping me. She would not take any ownership nor go to the back and see if the shirts may be back there, all I got is maybe it's all my fault. Here's the kicker though I even would bring back the hangers that they would give me to help her company on not having to buy all the time. I will file a BBB report just for the simple fact that I use them strictly for work and I paid a lot for them. Just sad that's all-poor ownership.

      Wow--time flies! Nearly every week for six years, I've trusted Broadway Cleaners with our dry cleaning and laundering my husband's work shirts. It took me years to find and settle on Broadway, and I'll admit tempting deals have led me to stray elsewhere a few times, but I always go back to Broadway.

      I dreaded bringing my inexpensive area rug that was heavily stained with red wine to be cleaned, knowing that the stains were all my carelessness and that I had probably made the damage worse by my attempts to remove the stains. However, my experience at Broadway Cleaners was positive, cheerful, and helpful. The lovely lady at the counter joined me in laughing at the extent of the damage I had done, and suggested ways I could solve the problem and save the rug. Her graciousness and good humor made my day!

      DO NOT TAKE YOUR WEDDING GOWN HERE !! Listen to the reviews and save yourself a trip!
      I called earlier in the week and explained my wedding is next week and the girl assured me if I brought it on Friday they could have it back by Monday . When I walked in the only attendant was talking to an unmasked lady and kept on talking without assisting me . She finished her conversation and a couple minutes later addressed me . I explained and she said "no we can't do that . " I said I called earlier and you guys assured me you could . She then asked to look. I showed her my gowns and she proceeded to touch them with her dirty hands with dirt under her fingernails and said " ok fine". I asked if they regularly worked with wedding gowns , specifically silk and the other one is a crepe and satin blend . She said yes and went and pulled some dresses that were all lace and tulle. I said ok, even though this is not what I meant . She asked my last name . My last name is hyphenated and I gave her my full last lame . She only took the first part of my last name - martinez and not the last part. I asked her to take my full last name and she said martinez is fine . Which if you know it is not as it's as common as the name smith . I told her it makes me uncomfortable to leave very expensive dresses if I don't take my full last name and she said "fine then you can take your dresses if you're uncomfortable ". I said ok and told her I should have listened to the reviews on Yelp. To which she said " yes you should have ". I asked her name and she gave me Maria Martinez, who knows if it's her real name . But I did call the bridal shop I purchase my dress from and they recommended elegance preserved in Palo Alto. They are featured by the knot and have won awards . Take your dresses there !!

      If dry cleaners were colleges, Broadway Cleaners would be Stanford. They are polished, they do an excellent job, and you PAY FOR IT. We take our extra important (or difficult) stuff here. Because sometimes you want to make absolutely sure it will be done right.

      But sometimes Berkeley will do just fine, which is why we take the reminder of our clothes to Poly Cleaners just down the road. Otherwise, our monthly dry cleaning bill would double. And Poly Cleaners does all the basics very well, thank you.

      (P.S. The hours at Broadway Cleaners are also inconvenient. They close at 6 pm on weekdays and 2 pm on Saturday. Might be OK if you're a work-at-home mom, but not so great if both parents work full time)

      If you're looking for a place that takes over a week to put on a patch I definitely recommend Broadway cleaners

      I went in to pick up my item and waited 15 minutes for someone to come to the front counter.

      They are after him and her and I was greeted with a frown and an eight dollar charge for something I usually get for three. If you're into that service long waiting and high prices there is no place I recommend more then Broadway cleaners

      I agree with several of the previous reviews. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
      When I took my suit I didnt check if all the stains went away but they certainly didnt say anything either. When I put on my suit I realized all 3 pieces had stains that didnt go away! I went back and was accused of having made those stains since then. The owner offered to try to get rid of those stains again but not for free, for half the price I paid the first time. Back 3 days later the stains are still there.
      1- they dont check if the stains went away or not, check yourself
      2- the lady at the counter is very rude
      3- quite expensive

      You should look for another cleaner...

      They take care of all my dry cleaning needs professionally, the owner and staff are always very cheerful.

      I 100% recommend this establishment.

      Terrible! I had been using BC for 6+ months & just had the worst experience and will never go back.
      I dropped off 2 shirts for dry cleaning a week before Covid hit so it took me 3+ weeks to come back. I try to pick up my shirts and they can't find them, search all over and nothing. I'm told to come back after they look more. I go back 2 days later and still nothing.. now they are asking for my original receipt which i don't have or if i'm sure i didn't already pick them up. i ask them if it shows that i picked it up & no they don't have any receipt. Front desk tells me the owner(Marti) will need to look for the receipt manually and that she will call me. Now i'm pissed but ok, it's a global pandemic so i'll give slack. I then call and front desk girl tells me that the owner(Marti) will call me.... never calls. A couple days later (not it has been over a week and the owner never called me with any updates). I go back had found the shirts. They blamed it all on a new worker who had folded my dry cleaning and put them in a pile they never thought to look in. Ok poor customer service and no communication with the owner that was promised, i'd expect some sort of discount as a "sorry". NOPE they charged me FULL PRICE! Terrible way to run a business
