According to the locals, this place has been many things. Broadway Club, Roost, and now Pit Stop. We went on a Tuesday night and upon walking in it smelled strongly of cleaning products. The TVs are all black as they don't have cable. The jukebox was turned off and no music was able to be played. They had a poker game going up front but if not for that, there would have been nothing to look at. I don't ever want to go back. What a sad excuse for a business.

We had brunch on Sunday, so it was quiet. Service was friendly. Inexpensive drinks and food. Eggs Benedict with hash browns had been in the serving window for a bit so they got a little cold. Not the end of the world. Pineapple Mimosa was great. We will try dinner later to get a feel if this is a place to frequent. One constructive gripe I do have is cleanliness, clean up the beer cans and cigarette butts, and weed the area.

This bar was revamped by Bar Rescue in July 2019 and was renamed The Roost. They serve dinner, lunch, and Sunday brunch along with alcoholic drinks, if desired. We went there today for brunch for the first time since the revamp. The place is bright, airy, and welcoming with an atmosphere that was Sunday- relaxed. Hubby had biscuits and gravy and added an egg and bacon for $1. I had french toast and also added an egg and bacon for $1. Both meals were cooked well and delicious. They also offer Bloody Marys, Mimosas, coffee, and fountain drinks. I had a tasty strawberry mimosa. The staff are friendly and delightful. The owners haven't owned the bar very long and took it over when it was in bad shape. They are still learning the restaurant side of things, but their efforts to improve not only the establishment but the food and service are obvious. Will definitely go back again for brunch.

New owners are pieces of shit, they care more about the bartenders looks than their ability and knowledge to work. They lie to get what they want as well as lie to TRY and get out of paying unemployment because they didn't pay into unemployment. They want you to serve them and their friends alcohol before being open and to not charge them for it because their friends are working on the bar for free. If the female owner does not like you, trust me she will let you know. She is extremely rude and inconsiderate. She thinks she is entitled and because she ""Owns"" the bar she can do whatever she wants, like get drunk and go behind the bar. They really have no idea what it is to run a business let alone a bar business with employees.

pathetic. filthy. and a grand representation of Tooele. The bartender was very personable, but did not know how to make the simplest of drinks. The music is out-dated and the DJ is tired and worn out. The furnishings are repugnant. The regulars are sad, phony and sorry, but very good at making the most of the place. I did not see anyone that looked healthy or anything close to employed.

5 stars, you wanna know why? Because this is Tooele and we don't have many choices when it comes to the bar scene. Yes this place is a hole in the wall, but the drinks are cheap (but still made good), the karaoke is tons of fun, the pool is free half the time because the coin part is broken, and the bar tenders are amazing.
We had a blast the nights we hung out there. Everyone knows everyone, and it's just fun to let your hair down and not have to dress like a hooker because all the ladies everywhere are. Jeans, a nice top and BOOM you have a fun night.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Evanne T.Salt Lake City, UT4839Dec 18, 2014Updated review
