It's small and lame. Not a lot to look at or walk around. The food court doesn't look very appetizing.
Not much to say. You can walk all around less then 5 minutes. 2 stars is what I gave itHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tracy P.CA, CA0150May 5, 2024
WOW! This place is huge with so many independent shops. It was so fun. They literally have everything. Including food and entertainment. I will go back for sure.

If you're bored/tired of sitting at home/have nothing better to do with you life, Visit Bristol Swap Mall!!
They have everything from clothes to shoes, jewelry and stereos, acupuncture and refurbished toys... and everything inbetween...
Be prepared to be bombarded with "pásale, pásale" by every shop worker/owner you pass.
For the most part, I only come here when I'm in a rush and need a fresh tshirt to throw on.
As others have stated, the churros here taste awful. I loveeeeeeee me some churros.... but these churros on the other hand belong in the back alley dumpster... the sun would warm these churros up better then these dimwits possibly could. I decided to give them 3 chances, different days.. the churros were either not warmed up correctly and doughy... or rock solid tooth chippin garbage.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Ruby C.Santa Ana, CA020Dec 28, 2021

I have been here a few times and it has been a fun time interacting with the vendors. Lots of things to see and browse through. I have been to a lot of marketplaces around the world and this is a ton of fun without the travel!

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
I have been been coming to this swap meet since I was a child, and today i had one of the WORST EXPERIENCES at the SNACK SHOP next to the restroom! I Purchased two churros, they didn't look ready and they were VERY VERY chewy from the inside and had no taste/ lacked sugar!
I asked my significant other to give it a try and we both agreed IT HAD NO TASTE
I explained to one of the workers there that the churro was very chewy and if I could please switch it out, she looked at my churro gave it a couple pokes and showed to another lady I again explained to her my churro was chewy and i didn't like the taste she said "so what do you want me to do it's been cooking for thirty minutes it's ready" after I asked her if I could switch it out she whispered something to her male coworker he came back all angry ... at this point I just wanted my money back and he then was yelling at me! "WE MAKE ABOUT A HUNDRED CHURROS A DAY AND NO ONE COMPLAINS YOU CANT COMPLAIN IM NOT GIVING YOU ANYTHING"
Overall this was horrible customer service! I didn't even get my money back or get to keep my churro I just left them there because they wouldn't return the churro I took ONE bite off Or the one the lady was poking at to see if It was ready
He got so angry I left the churros there and called me a F******B**** and just mumbling things through his teeth
Definitely won't be coming here again the churros were the only reason I came and they were very disappointing and these workers were sooo rude!
I had to come to the Anaheim swap meet
To get churros!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 9Oh no 0 - Koray S.Huntington Beach, CA030Oct 22, 2020

The Bristol Swap Mall is pretty awesome -- IF you know what you're getting into, that is!
What it is not:
- A fancy, frou-frou shopping destination.
- A cornucopia of cutting-edge fashion and state-of-the-art technology.
- A "den of thieves", a "mess of illegals", a "buncha wabs", and/or a "no gabachos" policy strictly enforced kinda place.
What it is:
- A crowded, lively, and thriving marketplace reminiscent of street markets or bazaars that you would find in any number of countries around the world, this one in particular with a Latino riff.
- A clean and well-secured venue (I spotted at least a half-dozen, serious business-looking security guards both patrolling and posted at various points in the mall).
- A real haven of deals IF they have what you're looking for.
- A source of entertainment for some of the distinctly foreign-feeling goods for sale (I don't mean this in a derogatory sense, I mean this in a wanderlust/nostalgia-fueled kind of sense -- world travelers/global citizens will know exactly what I mean when they look around here).
That being said, here's a few tips to make the most of your stay:
1.) Don't mind a few stares from some of the shopkeeps if you're not Latino (as a 6'2" Asian male, I stuck out like a sore thumb haha! Even the Asian shopkeepers --yes there's a few of them -- gave me looks LOL!).
2.) Bring cash.
3.) Be willing to flow with the crowd (don't just smash into people, and don't let people just smash into you -- those who have been in certain foreign countries will have this skill down pat).
4.) Keep an eye on your pockets (but really, you should be doing this in any crowded place, not just here).
5.) Don't be afraid of a lack of Spanish skills -- use your best Spanglish and you can be damn sure that whoever you're talking to will do the same. OR! Surprise surprise! There's sure to be someone willing to translate for you in a pinch!
Anyway, I picked up a luchador's mask here at the shop towards the center of the mall that sells Mexicana goods (ya know, like Americana, but, well, Mexican haha. In other words, Mexican cultural and heritage goods). So for anyone that's looking for a mascara de lucha libre here in Orange County, this is the spot to find it! It was $14 and I probably could have bargained for it, but the lady working the shop was so nice that I decided not to even bother with haggling!
So have fun and expand your cultural horizons! Besides, this place is a HELLUVA lot nicer than the Santa Ana Indoor Mall on Westminster (now THAT place is GHETTO haha!)!Helpful 15Thanks 0Love this 12Oh no 0
