The infamous Bridge Street Run started out as an expression of adolescent fervor when local teens achieved the status of "driver". It consisted of packing a car full of your friends and yelling obscenities to pedestrians or tossing snowballs or water balloons at the unsuspecting while driving up and down Bridge St. It was more of a right of passage than anything else. It's nice to hear that the namesake has lived on, but you should all know where it comes from.

BSR is a great annual celebration, if you could call it that, that ushers in the good weather and helps local businesses. Students, food, and Sharpies abound and finals looming, everyone gets their fair share of alcohol and socializing. Only downside is the few bars who close or prohibit BSRers and the prevailing negativity towards the ritual by locals.
