This guy claimed there was mold in the basement. Brought in a reputable mold remediation service and says it's nothing more than a water stain. Thanks ass hat for wasting my time and money

We used BrickKicker for the past 2 homes we purchased. Both times they missed MAJOR code violations that ended up costing us thousands of dollars. One puts a lot of trust into their home inspection and we're majorly let down. Very nice people but I would never use their services again...

Hello Dennis, This is the first I have heard of your problems and I do tell everyone to please contact me if you have any questions or issues. When I begin every inspection I do explain that it is not a code inspection as codes constantly change over the years and the only home up to current code is a new house. Also, it is really impossible to know what the codes were when a home was built. I have reviewed your report and see that there were issues noted. Unfortunately when work is performed it must be completed to the latest code requirements which will often cost more and possibly snowball into larger work. Lastly, I do a non-destructive inspection meaning I cannot remove walls, ceilings etc. If these issues were hidden by finishes there is no possible way for me to see them or identify them. I am truly sorry to hear that you have had issues with your house.
