Brickhouse Tavern

Our four-person lunch crew ate here today. One of three tables seated, so it wasn't busy at all, but the service was basically the bare minimum we could've received in terms of effort. Two ordered the Brickhouse Sampler with the nachos, wings, etc. and it was a massive plate of lackluster food. We felt like it could be replicated by going to Walmart, ordering a bunch of those TGIFriday's frozen appetizers and assembled it yourself--literally on par with that. I had a tuna melt that was good, nice thick toast, but came with potato salad that was straight-up Great Value brand. Our fourth made the wise choice by getting the pizza. So if you come here, do yourself a favor and just stick with what Brickhouse does best--pizza and beer. But even still, Paul's Deli next door is superior in both pizza and beer categories. We collectively scored this experience a 2 (sampler), 2 (sampler), 2.5 (tuna melt), and 3.5 (pizza). There are better places for lunch in Williamsburg--trust.

The food here was delicious. Drinks were cheap. $7 for a JD whiskey sour. I got a brick house burger and onion rings and it was like heaven on a nicely toasted brioche bun. My husband got a veggie burger and he was impressed and full!!Best combination ever!!

Our waiter was nice and that was pretty much the only good thing. The food was all mediocre. I got really grossed out when I asked for ketchup and mustard and the top was crusted, so I twisted off the top and it was all gross old dry mustard. Just doesn't seem like a very clean place.

Being generous, most of food was mediocre, but the shrimp basket was horrible(see pic for size of shrimp compared to breading).
While waitress was attentive, she was overly attentive, along with too many complaints of her own (too many kids, not enough money). I asked if they had a nut brown on tap, got a deer in headlights look back, "I'm allergic to beer, so I don't know." Really not sure why an allergy keeps you from learning the menu, but ok. Girlfriend asked for a drink from their holiday menu and she had no idea, had to go from table to table until she found a holiday menu. When shrimp arrived my girlfriend asked for cocktail sauce and ketchup for the fries, got the same deer in headlights look "I think we've run out"

My boyfriend and I visited Williamsburg for the weekend and heard good things about the restaurant so wanted to try it out! Started the meal with bacon cheese fries that were very good! I got a small cheese pizza and it was pretty good. Not the best pizza but overall a great restaurant for lunch or dinner!

Ordered jalapeño poppers, potato skins, and a large chicken Alfredo pizza. The jalapeño poppers were overpriced and had zero flavor. Sonic has better ones. The potato skins were a little better. The chicken Alfredo pizza was decent. It's a good size and not overpriced. Not a whole lot of chicken, not a whole lot of flavor, but wasn't terrible. The hostess who seated us seemed lost in the sauce and our server was strange too. Like they didn't know how to speak to someone. Maybe they were just high as a kite. Not terrible but probably wouldn't go back. It's a typical subpar college bar

Slow service and they fraudulently added money to the tip. Management refused to issue a refund, hang ups on calls, and laughed when you call back. Do not go. But if you do- take a picture of your receipt after tip and check your bank account when it clears.

Wow!!! Our poor waitress tried her best on her first day, but this place is a hot mess!!! Been here almost 2 hours. Some people at our table of 5 are done eating, some have no food. Very overpriced. Wings are good, but just don't....not worth the frustration. Ridiculous. Had to go to other uncleared tables in search of napkins and unopened silverware.

We ordered 4 apps and a pizza. Nachos were bad and cheaply made. Ground beef on top was cold. Potato skins were extremely dry and flavorless. Spinach dip was warmed up from a can and basic; presentation was awful - looked like someone had eaten out of it, and it sat in the kitchen for a while - we had to ask the waitress where it was at the end of our meal. The pizza was extremely bland but the crust was ok. The boneless wings were actually decent. But we paid $100-ish for pretty much horrible food. They are lucky to be located in a tourist location, or I think they would not get much repeat business. Just not a good meal; disappointing for the cost. I would NOT recommend.

Great pizza, although a bit soggy. Nice vibe. The best part for me was that our waiter chased us out of the restaurant to return my drivers license and debit card that had fallen out of my purse! Thanks Ian!!!! Without you, I would have had a hard time making my flight back home!

Our guide here in Lawton suggested the Brickhouse, and it didn't disappoint. The beer selection was excellent despite a few of our initial selections being off tap. The food was good, as was the service. Good ambience and plenty of parking.

Did I mention the beer was great?
