Breezy Town Pizza

Easily my favorite pizza in the city. I've still only experienced the pizza to go (as I only discovered them during Covid times), but the drive home with the mouthwatering, aromatic pizza on the floor next to me (careful, there can be some grease leaking through the box) has never been anything less than a struggle...

We've found a full pie is more than enough for two meals for my wife and I, especially if you add one of their awesome salads as a side. I guess the pizza itself is deep dish, but it comes across a bit more unique with the thickness of the dough. Regardless of its actual style though, it is absolutely delicious. The ingredients always taste fresh and are never sparse or overbearing, and the cheese is easily the best I've had on a pizza!

I've had most of the standard toppings in one way or the other, and while everything is wonderful, the real winners are their daily specials, which are shared on Instagram (you'll appreciate the effort put forth on each pun-filled name as well).

This is my first time trying the so called Detroit's style pizza but Breezy Town definitely set a high standard for me! It was SO good!

We online order the pizzas (they don't take phone orders now) and it was delivered on time when we picked up. They do check the proof of vaccination to allow you to enter. It smelled so good in the car and was very tempting.

We ordered the P&P and Spicy meatballs with two kinds of salad. The spicy meatballs totally ravvvvvved - I love the peppery note in the meatballs themselves. The burnt cheese crust tasted so addicting. The pizza was not soggy after 10-minute driving and when we added shredded cheese on top, the cheese melted still (so you know the temperature for the pizza is RIGHT)

As for the salads, I was happily surprised with the kale Cesar salad. The dressing brought out the sweetness and freshness of the leafy kale! It's a must order item for me next time when I revisit Breezy Town Pizza (hopefully I will be able to dine in then)

If you haven't tried Detroit-style pizza, come and taste the authentic, palatable thick crust pizza. Just be aware how addicting it is!

I order a pizza tonight. I don't think it was cooked all the way through. Better luck next time.

My current fave Pizza in the city. The pizza and salads blew my socks off. I thought about going back immediately the next day.

This is hands down my favorite pizza place in seattle. We got the pepperoni pizza without any additional toppings. First thing was that I was surprised at how much this pizza cost and how much you got. It's a three person pizza.

It's kind of weird to classify as a deep dish pizza since it doesn't have a lot of filling and it's really thick because of the dough. The dough was amazing as it was fluffy and chewy and the layer of cheese and the pepperoni oil really drips on and makes the bite so satisfying. Everything comes together and makes you just want more and more (the reason why I overate my share).

Things this place did really well: the service was top notch! Everyone was friendly and even though it's takeout only the atmosphere is super fun and hip. Ordering online and in store pick is streamlined and quick. The pizza was so heavy and all the images on Yelp looked so delicious I was beyond excited driving home with the box in my front seat. Unfortunately, that's where the deliciousness ended. The pizza looked great but was the most bland pizza I've ever had. The dough is like focaccia not deep dish pizza dough which isn't horrible, but it looks like a deep dish crust. Overall the food didn't hold up on flavor from all the pictures.

I can now see why people argue across the country what pizza is best haha. It is mostly bread/crust but it's a really good fluffy dough. With that thick of a crust , you can taste all the ingredients on it . Very nice red sauce that isn't overpowered by crust with nice quality ingredients. I have to admit that if I wanted to eat bread for dinner , then this would be it but I can't eat THIS much of it . I am not a pizza enthusiast either so I tread lightly to those who love it.

i'll be very up front: i'm a thin crust pizza girl but i'm not closed minded so decided that after reading so many positive reviews, i would give breezy town a go and expand my pizza horizons.

the crust is amazing in texture and compliments the thick deep dish aspect of the pizza itself.

the menu choices are so varied that people are going to be able to find something that catches their eye, or they are welcome to build their own! being a vegetarian, i opted for bluto but considered getting jj minus the meat. i had to start somewhere and the combination of the castelveltrano olives and blue cheese really pulled at my heartstrings. i had no problem with the quantity of ingredients atop the pizza nor how it is sent out the door, with a sheet of aluminum foil between the pizza and the box top but i had to knock off a star for the fact that the flavor of blue cheese was imperceptible among all the other ingredients once i dug in to my slice. the sauce, the olives and the mushrooms came through but unless i saw the blue cheese for myself, my taste buds wouldn't have known it was there.

in terms of cutting into the pizza, the recommendation is not to have it cut for take out orders and i concur: i can't imagine how it would fare if you ask for it cut and then try to transport somewhere during covid non-dine in times. it was easy enough to cut slices once back home and it stayed far more intact than i imagine it would otherwise.

one of these is going to feed multiple. others comment in their reviews about the cost: it's true, it's not cheap but hold that box in your hands and you'll realize there's an enviable amount of ingredients sitting atop that crispy edged dough!

in general, this was a good experience for a thin crust fan. it's a sure-fire crowd pleaser from a quality establishment. i'd be game to try another one of their tasty creations!

The best deep dish in Seattle. We don't always crave the Chicago deep dish, but when we do we always call Breezy Town. We love the Pepperoni baked into the crust - SO good. also greatly appreciate that their ingredients are high quality and they load the toppings - no skimping here! My only gripe is that their in-house delivery zone stops exactly one block away from my house- perhaps that's just a sign from the pizza gods that I should move :-)

The pizza is absolutely delicious. The cheese is so tasty and especially on the ends of the crust. We always get a build your own and I'm very happy they have chicken sausage here. Couldn't recommend this place enough. One of our favorite pizza places in Seattle.
