Bowlero North Scottsdale

We had our son's 16th birthday celebration here recently and it was great ! He had a blast with his friends, what a fun place to celebrate.

The staff here were outstanding!Lisa was super helpful and friendly, she helped us with  reservation on the phone couple weeks prior, thank you so much Lisa!

Jennifer the manager was super sweet and very helpful, Ceejay our server was on it and the two other servers were so helpful as well. Thank you guys, we really appreciated!

We will definitely be back with friends and family.

NO GO for NYE!!!  I am giving it 2 stars because I think the staff really tried - the management didn't organize the NYE 2023 properly.  

Server service was terrible.  We waited forever for service and didn't really know what to do due to the drink tickets we received.  The server didn't tell us we need to go up to the bar, which we would have happily done so.  And did - and had to PAY for drinks at the bar because they didn't honor the drink tickets we had!  SERVICE was disorganized, not the fault of the server.  The venue has ONLINE service, BARTENDER, SERVERS all at our disposal.  Choose one for you guests and run with it!  I felt bad for our Server, though he was absent and was a little annoyed with us for purchasing drink tickets.  

The food we paid for our event didn't all arrive.  We had to chase down a salad we got around 7:15PM when we were leaving at 7:30PM.  We also didn't get our food until after 6:30PM.  We arrived at 5:30PM as scheduled.

It was VERY DISORGANIZED this year.  

The value wasn't there.

Why were we charged an extra $45 AFTER the credit card was entered online when booking this package deal?  This is illegal!  DoorDash just lost a lawsuit from this exact practice.  What was the $45 for anyway?  

Will not be going here next year.

We asked a porter to help us with food - he did his very best and got us a salad as we were leaving.

We have had much better experiences here in the past.

Something has changed and its not for the better at this point.

There is a sweet man, he's shorter in stature and was at one point a bartender - he is the GREATEST, but he was running around that night as well.

So disappointed in this experience.

The place is nicely modeled and for the most part it's pretty clean. There is an arcade here too. Works like a Dave and Buster where you get an arcade card to play. The price is typically what you'd expect on a Friday night. $10/game. However, th shoes is more pricy that i expected. $7 for shoes. I'm not sure why but the finger holes in the balls are all huge. I can barely find one that fits.

Bowlero is a great time and they have a ton of lanes so there are always ones available on a weekday. Lots of selections for ball weights.

Only issues are that the bar service is typically very very slow, and the lanes need more seating, as if both yours and the next one over are in use there won't be seating room for everyone

So - made a reservation online which states to show up on time.  Showed up early, 4 people at the counter working and we weee told to step aside to wait?  Waited several minutes for nobody to assist us then when were asked what we needed they scrambled.  The upsell for unlimited drinks and food for a party of 30 people was the hard sell and more of a priority for them then getting us to the lanes.  We were asked multiple times if we wanted unlimited this or that.   btw..  $140 for 4 people to bowl 2 games????    As for bowling our lane was messed up and when we asked to have it fixed we were told to just keep resetting it which doubled the time to reset the game.  

Food - subpar bar food at Scottsdale prices !!!!    2 orders of Chx tenders and a cauliflower w/ 2 drinks =$70 and to boot they automatically charged us 18% gratuity for a party of 4???  Server was nice but only saw 2 of them for the entire place and it was busy.

so for a family of 4 to have a very disappointing birthday 2hr night out ran well over $200........     gave 1 star because it forced to give at least that

It's super expensive but a super fun blowing experience.  We had some apps and the service was really great.  6 bowlers for 2 games was about $100

I really wanted to like this place however the service is just non-existent, not just lackluster. It doesn't seem like anyone's happy working here, they're just going through the motions. There's no attention to detail, and it shows in every part of the experience. They have overly complicated POS system at each of the lanes, it's a struggle to order and pay through them. The electronic menus are poorly designed and have no UX thought behind them. The credit card readers have complicated instructions, and barely function. After you overpay for drinks, or food, you'll be lucky to receive it at all or you'll have to wait some time. As for the bowling experience, I found it odd to use black UV light on the pins themselves, as it makes it very difficult to properly aim your shot. The rental balls are old and poorly maintained with lots of holes and divots. Their shoes are average at best, and don't make you feel that special feeling you get wearing bowling shoes. I'm guessing the best thing to do here is play video games. And even though this is the closest bowling alley to my house, I will drive farther to get an authentic, memorable and pleasurable experience. Maybe I'm not their target market because I'm an adult, but kids deserve a better experience too.

We have been here twice. The experience was ok except for the fact our lane kept breaking down mid game.  When paying at the front , Marlinda was incredibly rude. She coincidentally checked us out the last time we visited and we had the same uncomfortable experience with her. Overall, this location is really nice but definitely should reconsider having unprofessional employees work the front desk. We definitely left with a bad vibe!

Gustavo was our server and he was amazing! Such good service and personable and he made sure we were always taken care of. Definitely recommend!

The vibe was definitely there this day I went. Everyone was super nice. Very accommodating. I mean, we are already so excited to get out of the heat and go bowling. Love that they have kiosks at the lanes. Good entertainment on the TV's. Food was amazing. Glad that they offer more than just like fries and chicken strips. All the food was so tasty! Plus they have some super fun cocktails. Highly recommend. Will be going back soon. A lot of summer fun.
