Had my daughter birthday party here today, the rooms itself are fun but the lady (blonde) working my party was RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!! Sucking her teeth, huffing and puffing, rolling her eyes. I'm sorry but if you don't want to be around kids then you SHOULDNT be working at BounceU. That happened in the room first, the second room she asked if I wanted water or soda for the kids, I replied by saying water. AGAIN I get a eye roll and a "really" she turned and went to the other woman working the party and starting commenting on my request, so I went over to them and asked if there was a problem, she stormed off. We went into the area to eat, BEFORE the kids even had the chance to eat the pizza she had the cake out and was ready to push us out (mind you we had 45-50 min left)I proceeded to the front desk and asked to have her removed from my daughter party. I'm extremely disappointed in today, she was completely unprofessional.

Dear Michelle,
I want to thank you for sharing your experience with us. As a result, I want to extend my sincere apologies for the rude behavior exhibited by one of my employees. I could not agree with you more; there is no excuse ever for this type of behavior. I assure you that this one bad behavior by a young person, does not define us nor the amazing experiences that our thousands and thousands of customers have experienced in the last ten years.
Thank you again for your feedback.
Sincerely,
Ignacio - Jul 21, 2019
It is a super fun place for kids of varying ages. They really know how to maximize the birthday party space. There are about 4-5 different rooms of bouncy materials. During one party or playtime, they give you about 15 minutes in each room and then move you through each room during the allotted time. This way, they can have several parties at once during any given time. Within the rooms, there are also several options for extra paid activities. The kids like this particular wind tunnel game that was several dollars extra like an arcade game. The last room is usually the pizza room. It is a very fun place but I worried about cleanliness. There are so many kids that can come through this space per day and I am not sure how often they clean it.

Four star rating, but a 3.75 would be more accurate. Decided to come here for this rainy Sunday; since football season begins next week, it will be my last available Sunday, for quite some time.
I paid $17 dollars for the open play session. You get one and ten minutes for your money. They divide the time between two rooms-- so you get 35 minutes in room one, and 35 minutes in room two. Actually, room one may be a few minutes less because they do a small safety video, prior to starting the process. Initially, I wasn't sure if it was worth the money for such a short period of time, but trust me, it's more than enough tires and your kid probably will feel the same.
Room one contains four options; I did expect a little more but it's still fun. Room two contains two or three, and has a bunch of older video games to play (Pac Man, Mario, among others). Be careful, some of the games will eat your quarter, and while you may think it's a quarter, they are actually 50 cents.
The space was clean, the staff was friendly, the two employees who oversee the play area were vigilant--basically they make sure the kids are playing safely. However, a pet peeve of mine is lazy parenting, and there's no shortage of that here. Many parents are smaller children thought it was ok to just sit down and not watch their own kids. I saw one kid toss a little girl face down, that shouldn't happen. Often times, the bigger kids would slip the smaller kids unless their was a parent to correct their behavior. Lastly, I saw a mother who had two boys who looked a little old to even be here, but they were playing very rough. Initially I thought she just didn't notice but later in came to my attention she was encouraging the behavior. I wanted to say something to her-- I really regret not doing so. Toward the end of the second section I witnessed her punch the screen of one of the video games-- needless to say, I see where her kids may have picked up the idea of aggressive behavior from.
In sum, this is a pretty cool venue to take your kids, especially for the open play. They also do birthday parties here.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

We just had a snow storm here in NYC yesterday night, about 10 inches of snow was dumped in the area and due to the conditions, kids were out from school today. I received an email, around the time I woke up, from Bounce U saying that they were opened, and you know what, that email sold me. Haha.
How convenient that I live only half a block away? Pefect resort to bring my kids especially on a day like this where I should be staying home, not. I walked in for the 12'o clock open bounce, and since it was so hard to travel with all that snow out there, we were with a very very small group, about 4 other kids.
The hour wss split between 2 rooms, quite large but wasn't enough bounce. Just about 3-4 inflatables and thats about it, but whatever, Kaylen looooves to bounce and thats what mattered.
Remember to bring socks and have the kids wear comfy clothes to bounce in-- sweats, leggings, or yoga pants.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - 122325913Dec 22, 2018
It's been a few months since I last came and they've made a few changes. Times flies and I dont think an hour is enough time for the children. My son prefers the 1st room. Parents are allowed to bounce around also without paying extra which is a big plus. Its def worth coming out here to burn some calories and also for the children to let out some energy.

My nephew had his birthday party here.
It could of been a much better experience had the host been a little more kid friendly. She looked scared.
The place was clean , food was good , cake was also good. Kids had a ball.
My son has requested his bday here but since parties are only 2 hours I'm hoping to find one that will be longer being that his bday is in the winter.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

Dear Yajaida,
Please forgive my delayed response. I want to thank you for your feedback and am very happy to hear about your very positive overall experience. Please note that we do also offer additional time, for an additional cost, to the standard two our party. Please give us a call to find out more.

It serves its purpose of getting your kids tire and let them scream their heads off when the weather is not ideal outside. The private party is pricey but not anything more than other kiddie parties. Been here many times with the kids and I think it is best when your kids is at least 5 and older since they need to be able to play on their own and among other kids who can be a little rough but hey they learn. I think they may have playtime for toddlers otherwise it is a great place for their kids run wild. Good motor skills practice.

I hosted my second party here yesterday and the management staff is rude and unprofessional. I had an issue with a policy I wasn't aware of. My issues
isn't with that it's the way the manager (Hector) handled the situation instead of trying to rectify or deescalate the situation his attitude, tone of voice, and over all demeanor seem to want to escalate things and made them worse. At the end of the party I politely and very nicely asked him his name he said Hector, I asked for a last name he raised his voice with an attitude and said I don't have to disclose that to you Hector. While my party guests were all exiting as well. It was embarrassing but also poor business practice each parent is a potential customer. Not now after seeing how my husband and I were treated. I have tried to get in contact with the owner, who they refuse to tell me at least a first name. I no longer recommend bounceu for parties or open play.
Edit 4/10/19: I have yet to have anyone from bounce you call to rectify this issue. Also their sanitary practices are extremely poor. 6 people attending including the birthday and myself got sick with the flu. I realized they don't sanitize slides or any of the bouncy houses between parties.Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 22, 2017
The dumbest system I've ever heard for a children's place: sorry we don't take walk ups. Wtf does that mean? You don't take customers? You don't let kids come and play because their parents need to book an appointment? You don't want business? I'm sorry but we've been there for a bday party and their bouncy houses are dirty as hell and full of duct tape from all the holes. My hubby came all the way from Harlem to take our son back because he wanted to go (even though it's gross) so they went (1.5 hr train ride later) only to be rejected because they need to book an appointment for their nasty ass facility. Should be called F U not bounce U.

Dear Renee R.,
Please accept my apologies for any misunderstanding. As the premier children's entertainment center in all of Brooklyn, we welcome all-comers, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. So that we're able to meet an ever increasing demand, we create specific timed events during the day that require an advance reservation. This is so that customers know what time each event starts and ends, and can plan accordingly, just like the start of a movie, concert, or special event. You'll be delighted to know that as the new owner of BounceU of Brooklyn, we purchased all brand new and exciting inflatables (aka...bouncy houses) in 2016. We've added video arcade machines, and other fun games and activities that excite the children and delight their parents. For your convenience, appointments can be scheduled through our easy to access website 24/7. Please give us another chance and see for yourself, through your child's eyes, what an amazing time he'll have. - Cherie B.Brooklyn, NY0427Oct 25, 2020
Why doesn't this place make it clear that they aren't open right now? I had to do way to much to figure it out. Nothing on the website. No one answers the phone and the voice message doesn't say they are closed. Totally understandable to be closed, but what a lack of courtesy! How hard is it to put it somewhere?
