I called to order two pizzas for pick-up and asked how many slices in a medium. The friendly guy on the line told me they do one size of pie. I appreciate the simplicity. I ordered one cheese for the kids and the Boston's Special for the adults and was told that the pizza would be ready in 25 minutes. This was on a Tuesday evening at 5:35 pm.
My daughter had just enough time to apply for her library card and check out some books before we picked up the pizzas. Parking isn't the easiest out front-just street parking-at least not at dinner time. But we found a spot, the pizzas were ready and both people working were friendly. The inside is pretty spartan, but the music was great-indie and punk rock. There are colorful chairs and tables to eat-in but we took it to go.
Two pizzas was enough for three kids 10 and under and 5 adults to enjoy. - 661153814473/18/2017
We've been fans of Boston's North End Pizza Bakery for YEARS and YEARS - frequenting their various locations around the island many, many times. Â Given this, I'm not sure how we haven't reviewed this particular location (Hoolai Street in Kailua) yet. Â Anyway...
+ Â Boston's is known for their LARGE slices - about a quarter of the pie.
+ Â Pizzas taste great. Â Love the thin, crispy crust. Â Spinach and garlic have always been a favorite, but the other toppings are great, too. Â Today, we also got a little cup of (melted) garlic butter to dip into - AWESOME!!!
+ Â Service was great. Â Not sure about the other reviews detailing bad attitudes and negative interactions. Â We definitely did not experience anything like that today. Â The guys there today were both friendly and courteous. Â And the pizzas came out fast.
+ Â Lots of seating (inside and out). Â Outside seating was a great option on a sunny, breezy day.
+ Â Variety of canned/bottled drinks ($1) in the refrigerated case next to the counter.
I could see how street parking might be a negative, but on the occasions we've been in the neighborhood, we've always found a spot fairly easily.
A few competitors offering similar pizzas have popped up over the years, but we'll stick to Boston's. - Kylie B.Raleigh, NC341912104/24/2017
My husband and I shared The Jimmy calzone. It was big and pretty good. The place only had 3 workers and just wasn't really that functional. They only took cash and did not have any silverware to help us cut the calzone.
I've had better pizza and probably won't be back. - Chad K.Honolulu, HI2031321042/5/2017
The best pizza on the island. Employees are very friendly and thoughtful. They also go out of their way to make their customers feel at home, perfect fit for a community like Kailua. I drive from town just to eat here and my big red with mushrooms and pepperoni comes out perfect every time.
This particular Boston's Pizza offers the best pie on the island made by employees who take pride in making a great product while providing superior customer service. - Barbara B.Mountain View, CA9365548/7/2018
This isn't quite as good as it was quite a few years back but it still offers a crispy crust, large slices if you buy by the slice, at a very good price. Â There is limited seating and if you like your pizza hot like me, hope that there is a chair or 2 available so you can enjoy it. Â With a little bit of help,
they could easily add a bit of ambiance to make this a really super place! - 78356111407/28/2015
Let me first start off by saying I hate the New England Patriots and nothing good really comes out of Boston, but there are exceptions to every rule. It's strange that Boston pizza is more popular than New York pizza out here. Everyone and their mother knows that New York pizza is the most superior pizza in the world, with Jersey coming in a close second and Chicago behind Jersey. But I digress.
My wife, my friend and me ordered a large veggie pizza with chicken and an order of chicken wings. The wings weren't bad, but could have used a little more sauce.
The toppings on the pie were plentiful, but the trick to good pizza is keeping the dough strong on the bottom and crunchy throughout. Soggy pizza isn't cool and harder to eat the next day. A thicker dough may have prevented the sogginess, along with a more cooked bottom. I'm not a doctor, but I have made my fair share of frozen pizza in the oven.
The portion sizes were fantastic and we saved the rest for breakfast/hangover food the next morning. - Shaun O.Waipahu, HI61615037710/16/2017
Boston's is my favorite casual Pizza joint! They do sell whole pies and take out but I love to walk in and grab a slice! Their single slice order is actually two huge slices! Hand spun pizza dough with great conventional and "unconventional" toppings! They love spinach, garlic and Italian sausage on a lot of their thin crust pies! They have sport games  on their TV's going on and the workers are tatted up and super cool!

It's super hot inside. Big oven and no air conditioner. But the pizza is super flavorful. They have tons of different options. Workers are nice and courteous.

Mammoth-sized pizza! I just had my first taste of Boston's pizza and I'm sure it won't be my last. The pizza's are huge, the ingredients are fresh, tasty, and amply applied. A fair warning - the slices themselves are HUGE - a 19" pizza cut into eight colossal slices. We had a large group to feed so they kindly cut the pizza again so we could have 16 slices a pizza.
The staff was great, the pizza was phenomenal, and they offer a great military discount - $5 off per pizza! - Karli D.Kailua, HI38435688/1/2016
Been here countless times, and wondered, how have I never reviewed this place?!? When I used to live near Aiea, I went to the Boston's there and it was my all time favorite pizzeria since I was younger; I even asked to get Boston's as my last meal before getting my braces on!
Last time I came here for dinner about two nights ago-we found street parking right in front of the store! Ordered about a pie and a half worth of pizza and it was quickly heated up. The workers were friendly (as usual) and it was a fast pick up for dinner. Typically, we have leftovers and pizza is always great the day after! Before I leave for the mainland, I most likely will be requesting Boston's for dinner!
