Sophronia B... This was our first time dealing with BOR MOTORSPORTS, we made several attempts to bring our buggy's in but space would not allow... They have lots of business which is GOOD, and shows that customers trust their service... After some time we spoke to the staff and initially there was a disagreement but BOR stepped up and took care of us in a VERY PROFESSIONAL MANNER!!! I can only speak on my experience and I will do business with them again when we are ready for our next two or three!!! Thanks for making us EXTREMELY SATISFIED CUSTOMERS!!!

This place is absolutely the most dependable and consistent motorsports facility I have ever done business with. Most of the time, a facility has a strong sales department that makes you feel like you are their only customer. They bend over backwards to help you, so they can make a sale (of course). Then, when you have issues with your ATV, dirt bike or go-kart, you are out of luck.
Not the case here at BOR Motorsports! Their sales is amazing, no pressure and very informative. Then after you buy, if you call with a problem, they ACTUALLY answer. Not only do they answer, they ACTUALLY try to help you over the phone so you don't have to bring your vehicle in. BUT... if you have to bring your vehicle in, they take care of you ASAP and with such professionalism. Their shop is so clean and organized, it makes me wonder if they ever have to use it!
I took my son's go-kart in yesterday because it wouldn't start. They took it off the trailer, then proceeded to go through it right then and there (instead of telling me to come back in two weeks like most other places). The mechanic spent about twenty minutes working on the go-kart before finding the issue. A total "user error", something my son and I had accidentally done with a wire. So... most places would charge at least $50 for their time. Not BOR Motorsports! They just loaded up my go-kart and sent me on my way! This is a top notch facility and has a wonderful team to work with!!!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Andre H.Pleasantville Area, Houston, TX184Mar 30, 2021
This place is a complete joke operating like typical shade tree mechanics! Anyone wanting to buy these should go to Power Motorsports off Harwin saving 500 to 1k first off! Knock the middle man out saving hundreds maybe thousands! As a matter of a fact, I bought a 125 & 150cc from their distributor saving $800! Once my boys got older I sold them!
I had set an appt to get my 4 wheeler back up and running and in like 2 days I was told it had an electrical issue that would take longer than expected that they didn't want to fix! The guy was like it's going to cost an arm and leg so I replied so I want it running! I was told to come pick it up because they had other atvs sitting with faster repairs to make money off! I was hot!! Carburetor issues and shaking apart galore!!! If u got the money go buy a Honda, Polaris, or a Suzuki! These things really a joke if you don't know how to work on them! They smile and shake hands taking that new money, but once u come back for service is when you deal with the "grim reapers"!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lonnie I.Crosby, TX04Nov 27, 2020
Lady named Erica is a total tool! Wife and I stopped by here, planning to buy a cart until we were treated so rudely. No one greeted us when we walked in; not a big deal. So, we walked around minding our business looking at their carts for sale. My wife walks thru some double doors into another area lookimg for someone to assist us and this lady walks up and yells, "Yall aren't supposed to be back there, sir you can't go in there! It's illegal for yall to be back there!" First off, I wasn't even standing in the doorway. My wife was standing just inside the door looking. I could understand her volume if she was across the showroom floor and it was noisy in there. My wife asked if there was someone that could help us, and Erica replied it would be her. Then my wife asks if there was someone else that could help us besides her and she starts going off on a tangent about us being pissed that she asked us not to be in their shop. This went on for about 10 minutes; total power trip on her part. I wouldn't do business with this unprofessional woman. Her employees on the sales floor even apologized for her talking to us like that. We definitely won't be back and hope for her sake shep gains some social & interpersonal skills before running that business in the ground. I wish that I would have read the other reviews before driving across town, as we aren't the only ones that experienced her rudeness.

Learn from my experience and find another shop. Lady named Erika is simply not honest. I understand this is a business but not an honest business. I came to get my atv repaired and was overcharged by an arm. (I did my own research for every part) and I had to pay for a part which they broke during the repair. Simply unacceptable and when I got home my atv was leaking gas from the carburetor. They claimed the carb was new but looks like they tried to clean the old part. I'm Simply unhappy. btw The price I paid was more than the price on my receipt. Shady shady

They have a nice storefront so I was impressed at first. I brought my buggy in for repairs and was quoted $750. I specifically asked, "will this get it running back perfectly like it was?" They said yes.
Then they make me wait a month to bring the buggy in to even start repairs and so I bring it in after the month and have to wait another 3 weeks before I even get a call back. When they finally call me back I'm told the price jumped to $1100 but no work has been started yet... No.
I ended up deciding to come pick up the buggy and cancel the work. It's not worth it anymore. I wanted it repaired for the price I was promised twice. I will never use them again or recommend them to a friend.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dec C.Houston, TX262Oct 18, 2014First to Review
Prices are much, much, cheaper than brand name.
How? Well here's the deal. You are buying cheap, bottom of the barrel, softest metal, Chinese junk. Warranty is very, very, short, our machines fell apart after a few hours of run time.
If you have the time to take things back for repair and/or can repair and replace things yourself, it's not a bad deal.
The employees are easy going and courteous.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shannon T.Humble, TX016May 3, 2016
Got the $1,500(ish) go cart/dune buggy thing. Sigh. I knew better. I was told not to get it by so many. Cheap. Horribly made. Constantly broken. You get what you pay for. Complete waste of money. The wheel fell off 2 times. Gas tank cracked. Exhaust pipe fell off. Had to order parts right away. Took forever for the parts to come in. When they came in they were the wrong parts. We Got it Christmas 2015 and it's been operational maybe 1 month total. Never again. Complete fail. Better off buying a used Polaris or Honda than this piece of junk.
Update: We had a mechanic friend fine tooth comb our little go cart. The steering shaft gets stuck on the gas peddle causing the cart to go out of control. All the welds are extremely poorly done. The wheels are put on wrong with Miss matched bolts. The replaced gas tank still leaks. One brake pad on the front is missing and is now leaking brake fluid. The exhaust had to be rewelded. The list goes on and on. At the end of the day our mechanic deemed it too poorly built and too unsafe to drive.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Stephanie S.League City, TX42Dec 28, 2016
Picked up a full size go kart for my daughter the week before for Christmas and when we gave it to her it wouldn't start. Service was shit when we tried to get someone on the phone to help. Then when we tried to bring it in to get service they advised that service is out for the next two weeks
