Boomchia is such a unique take on your classic smoothie bowls! Having it be completely customizable from the base to toppings with NO extra fees is a great addition to the experience. I appreciate the variety of vegan and organic options they had to pick from. The Boomchia Pudding in my personal opinion stands out for the cool combo of chia pudding and blue spirulina. Overall you are able to taste how fresh and flavorful the fruit is in each bite and I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place!

The place was clean and had places to sit inside. The staff was friendly and willing to explain the menu to us. Everything looked fresh, the fruit was bright and crisp. There are three sizes to choose from. The blue chia pudding has spirulina in it, we were hesitant to try it but the staff told us it didn't have a distinct flavor, so we went for it. They were right!
We had the mango base, blue spirulina topped with bananas, toasted coconut and apple honey.
We also tried the coconut chia pudding with mango and blue coconut base, bananas and pineapple pieces with toasted coconut and agave. We would go back again/ we liked it better than playa bowls.

Nice little shop in montclair that has a cute interior and some seating. What sets this place apart from Playa bowls or others is the options you have for the base, granola, toppings, powders, nut butters, and vegan honeys. THEY ARE UNLIMITED!!! a small is only for $10 which is a steal in my opinion! They really fill it to the top and don't skimp. I loved the passion fruit base (which is a seasonal base, so it's only here for a limited time!). I got that with boomchia pudding, bananas, pineapples, mulberries, cacao nibs, matcha powder, date honey, and almond butter! Each ingredient was super fresh and you could tell its quality. Service was efficient and friendly, would 100% recommend!

As a Playa Bowls loyalist, I lost my first time at Boomchia but the staff helped me with patience and a smile. I will admit I think I got a little too overzealous with my bowl choices but I love that everything is unlimited! Next time, I'll try to build a more cohesive bowl. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, not too sweet not too tart which is sometimes an issue for me at Playa Bowls. The highlights were the pitaya and mango bases.

Omg. This bowl is one of THE most delicious things I have eaten in a long time! A layer of matcha and açaí purées, Boomchia pudding (chia pudding with spirulina), ancient grains granola, hemp, chia and fax seeds, strawberries and blueberries, dried gogi and mullberries, toasted coconut and cacao nibs, tiny bit of almond butter, and drizzle of agave syrup. Not only is it healthy and good for you, but it is ridiculously yummy.... like CRAZY CRAZY yummy.... worth the ride to Montclair any day for this. I could eat this every single day. A small bowl is $10 and you can load it with anything. It is filling. I wish something like this was closer to my home but even so I will make this ride often.

So good had to come twice in one week! Very fresh ingredients at BOOMCHIA for all aspects of the bowl. Their fruit bases were so tasty and offered great toppings like almond butter, coconut flakes, and different types of granola. Staff is super welcoming!!

Love the acai bowls here as they have so many options for bases and toppings. Staff friendly, great price and great quality bowls can't complain

This was my second time getting a bowl here and can say this place is consistently serving the highest quality of fresh bases, fresh fruit, great toppings, and personalized, friendly service. The seating area is spotless clean and has different seating options to suit your preferences. Highly recommend Boomchia for all of your fresh, refreshing and healthy snack cravings!

BoomChia has been a fabulous addition to Montclair. Josh the owner is just so nice and helpful. He makes amazing bowls and everything is always so fresh and delicious!! It's just a walk from work and we come often! It's a must try!!
