I can see why their rating is a 3 star. I wasn't at all impressed with this "semi high end" restaurant.

Let me start by saying the staff was super super nice! They really made the visit worth it. However, the food was blah. My husband had cod, au gratin potatoes and asparagus. He said the fish tasted old and the asparagus was over cooked (where's the snap people?). I had rainbow trout, au gratin potatoes and broccoli. The rainbow trout had a weird flavor and smell. I'm not sure if it was the lemon butter sauce they put over it, but it was very off putting. My broccoli was mush. We had the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer. I was looking forward to having it, since I've heard so much about it. Honestly, it wasn't that great.

I'm glad we went on one of our date nights and not on my birthday night, which is this Saturday. I wouldn't have been happy at all.

I placed a reservation for 8 PM on a Saturday and was seated about 10 minutes early which was nice. The restaurant was not packed.

Shortly after being seated you'll receive warm bread paired with a pesto/basil sauce. It was great! If that's not your thing, just request butter.

I ordered the Cod Imperial with garlic whipped potatoes and season vegetables, which was broccoli. The sides were flavorful. Personally, I felt my cod was slightly overcooked. I also wish I had more of the seafood cheese topping on my fish. The crushed pineapple martini was great.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice for a date night. It's dim & gives a sophisticated feel.

My waitress had another waitress in training. Due to that, the experience felt a little awkward as if there was a heightened attentiveness to get things right and check on us. It resulted in us feeling a little overwhelmed, so I wish they would've read the room. Regardless, they were in training and polite, so I understood.

My husband and I really enjoyed our meal the other night. Our waitress was helpful and attentive from start to finish. Other staff members helped each other out, as well. Great teamwork all around! Our food was delicious from our appetizer (bang bang shrimp), & cocktail (blueberry martini), to our meals. I had the steak and crab cake and he had the cedar plank salmon. We recommend them both. The kung pao Brussels sprouts were unique and delicious, as well. There is a nice casual dining room along with a bar area to sit at depending on your preference. Check them out!

Sean was our waiter. Very personable. The food was delicious. Definitely try the firecracker shrimp appetizer! It's enough for three people even! Me and my boyfriend finished it but it was a lot!! The martinis were delicious. I had the pineapple and my boyfriend had a spicy one. Yum! The entrees were good too. The only issue was having the mac n cheese. I had to add salt. It was still yummy though. And very creamy! I would still go back. Some of these reviews on here are not good, but I don't understand why.
The tuna poke bowl was delicious!!

We chose here to have my son's 16th birthday dinner as he wanted lobster. We are beyond happy with our visit!

We entered and were immediately greeted by the hostess. We were sat at a booth and our waiter Shaun was amazing the entire time! He has such charisma and is super informative on the menu and specials they offer.

My son ordered the perfect pairing of lobster tail and the filet and it was cooked perfectly. My husband also got the filet and my daughter and I got the sirloin and I also got a crab cake. The filet melts in your mouth and the lobster is served with a delicious lemon butter and melted in his mouth! The steak and shrimp is seasoned to perfection and cooked beautifully. The crab cakes are delicious as well. You have to try their calamari is my new favorite in the area! To end our meal the birthday boy ordered key lime coconut cake and it was huge and so well worth it!!! The white chocolate cranberry cookies warmed up were amazing!

From the staff to the decor to the ambiance this is my new top spot for any seafood or steak dinner I crave!! Thank you to Shaun for helping to make my son's night amazing!!

We've been going to Bonefish for almost 15 years, and it never disappoints. It's one of our go-tos for special occasions, but we've done casual drop-ins as well.
I don't drink anymore, but the bar area is beautiful and inviting, and I did meet my hubby there for our first date in 2019.
If you didn't get the memo, you MUST try the signature Bang Bang Shrimp.
All entrees are great, but I always prefer any of the specials.

The service was 10/10, the food was 6/10. We went for lunch so the ambiance was nice. The pasta salmon needed more juice for the pasta to come through with the full umami favor, the cod was very good. Had a wonderful with our server!

I feel like one star reviews are for places with no redeeming qualities. Our waitress was super kind. She may have been newer because she didn't seem to know the menu well, but that's fine. She checked on us and refilled our glasses etc.
I regret using my gift card here. It definitely ranks as some of the most disappointing food I've had when going out to eat. Overcooked, bland, and not the right temperature. I'm surprised by the amount of good reviews on Google. Maybe the cooks had a bad night? I don't know, but I doubt I'll ever be back when there are other good seafood options in the area.

Bonefish Grill was my boyfriend's restaurant of choice for his birthday so we decided to stop in a little after 8pm on a Saturday. When we stepped to the hostess podium, we were asked if a table would be fine but we told her that we preferred a booth. She then made a statement saying it would be hard to find one but we said that it was fine and that we'd wait for one. She then walked us right to an open booth which was right by the door (I hate tables/booths by the entrance way). Since we didn't want to bother her again, we gladly accepted the booth; however once we sat down, we realized there were plenty of other booths available but we assumed maybe they were short staffed or something. Who knows.

We ordered one of their new appetizers, the BFG Fries which were seasoned fries topped with lump crab and drizzled with Bang Bang sauce. They were just alright. The fries tasted like they could've been frozen and there was very little lumped crab on them and lots of seasoning but since we were starving, we devoured them. Our entries came out pretty quickly. I ordered the Baja Scallop Scampi & Shrimp while my boyfriend ordered the Shrimp Rangoon Topped Salmon. The scallops were pretty good and so was the shrimp but the mashed potatoes definitely tasted like box potatoes which I was disappointed about. Also my food wasn't hot when it came out which I absolutely hate. My boyfriend's salmon entrée was good but unfortunately the salmon was cooked medium well which he did not like so he had to return it for a well done piece of salmon. Tip for Bone Fish, ask the customer how they want their salmon cooked when taking their order to prevent people from enjoying their meal and having to return their entrée! Unfortunately, it took over 15 mins for him to get his new salmon and by that time, he wasn't as hungry anymore.

Because it was his birthday, we were able to choose a dessert from the menu that was "on the house" so that was a really nice gesture, he decided on the cheesecake. This wasn't my first time at Bonefish Grill and I'll be honest, it's definitely not a place I yearn to go to but the food wasn't too bad overall and our waitress was really nice so we had a decent experience and I'm sure we'll be returning some time in the future.

OMG so good!!! Gastric bypass limits the things i can order but.... In their appetizer menu, definitely recommend their saucy shrimp.

Sometimes food at other restaurants leave a bad after taste but not this dish. Start to finish absolutely great.

They can make skinny margaritas and the glass it comes in was slanted.. odd shape but didn't take away from the deliciousness of the drink...

Dimmed lights allowed for a calm and enjoyable dinner and drinks with an old friend.

Amazingly,since it was labor day, we were able to get right in.

Plenty of parking.

Definitely recommend this place.

Came to celebrate my mom's birthday! Had to call to make the reservation since our party was so big , there was a few complications on our end which I had to call the establishment to update them and they were patient and accommodating. The front host was very kind and welcoming. The bartender, spoke very encouraging words of affirmations to my mom when he found out it was her bday which I found sooo very refreshing, she definitely appreciated the kind encouraging words ! And our waiter Rocky.. was the best ! Outstanding.. exquisite and very attentive to our large party.. Rocky was very educated on the menu, a people person, fast, and fun to be hosted by. Our experience was very great. The customer service from everybody we encountered was 10/10.. I'm not sure I've ever been in an establishment where EVERYBODY even those not serving us was nice and friendly . The food was fast and good and everyone enjoyed their meals. We loved Rocky so much we had to get him in our family photo and give him so birthday cake.. I'm not sure who Rocky is but we give our thanks to him . Gabriel also came to our table a few times and was very nice and helpful ! Bonefish must hire only the nicest of people.. I'm impressed
