There are actually two Bomboy buildings. The candy store is across the street from the ice cream shop, and didn't look open. Maybe it was but I didn't see anyone near that shop the entire time we were across the street.

The ice cream shop is weird inside. There are two main areas, separated by a narrow hallway. The section where you buy the ice cream is small and cramped with people. The dining area looks like they just moved in, but it's looked like that for at least ten years. There aren't enough tables, and one whole corner is taken up by bales of bubble wrap - like to the ceiling. It's not very welcoming, but it was too chilly to eat ice cream on the porch.

There are many delicious ice cream flavors to choose from, and a variety of cones. We got a cup of caramel flavored ice cream with a caramel swirl and cashews. It was amazing. I also had a Raspberry truffle milkshake that was tasty, but could have been a tad bit thicker. Jeremy had a cotton candy milkshake, too, because he can't resist.

It was a great little pre-dinner treat. Haaa I'm an adult and can have my dessert first if I want!!

This is probably a 3.5. First time visiting.

Pluses: the ice cream was creative and creamy. Very yummy. We shared 2 scoops for 2 people and more than enough (but we also had a big lunch). We went buy earlier and the line was super long so we came back 30 mins later around 3:45 and the line was so much better. The main dining room wasn't filled and the porch wasn't spilling out onto the street.

Minuses: the line was very chaotic bc people didn't know what the creative flavors such as lick the beater, Forrest chunk, myrtle turtle, duck duck goose were and looking around the case. So you've got a number of middle /high school aged girls chasing after groups of customers asking them if they needed help. They also ran out of samples so people were guessing. The biggest thing for me was the girls not wearing gloves and had long fake nails that were harbors of germs and then they grab spoons, scoops, and dig their hands into the ice cream cup after handling money and cash register. Shou probably provide some hygiene training.

      I. Love. Ice cream. And this place did not disappoint! Their array of flavors was spectacular. They were all "normal" pairings but not necessarily common. For example I got the Oreo cheesecake. It was like cookies and cream with a cheesecake base. Wow. Why isn't this a thing?? The staff all patiently let us try flavors as we tried to decide what to get. Right across the street is their candy shop with everything from pickle cotton candy to dog treats (and of course your usual array of chocolates and fudge). This was a fun stop and will definitely go back if I'm the area again.

If only they had parking available. I drove by on 3 different occasions and never found a spot. Looked like a cute place. Might want to designate a couple spots for customers?

So many yummy choices! The gretzels were sooooo good. Very flavorful Graham cracker flavor. Reminds me of a cookie. We also had the sea salt chocolate filled with caramel, milk chocolate, chocolate and hazelnut. All of them were so delicious!!! Will be coming back for sure!

The chocolate never fails. The ice cream serving was plentiful. Even with a line snaking inside the store, it moved fast. There were a few seats inside but with it being summer, outside seating is better.

All I can say is I really like this candy store. It has so much to offer & so many holiday treats. Today's choice was Walnut Chocolate Fudge, Cashews, Jumbo Coconut Kiss and Coconut Toasties. So many candy choices that I grew up on. Thank you too the super nice staff.

This place was a nice little stop after being on the water tonight. Their ice cream with chocolate pieces are made with the candy from the store across the street. I highly recommend the Peanut Butter Crunch. It doesn't have too many toffee pieces and the peanut butter chunks are pretty big. I think if you order a single, but want hot fudge on it they change it to a double, so keep that in mind. Their hot fudge wasn't worth the extra ice cream in my opinion.

They have seating outside at cute little tables. It can get pretty busy inside (even 30 minutes before closing), but they do a good job of keeping the line moving. Also...their spoons change color in the ice cream!!!

I came to Havre de Grace for the Bomboy ice cream which was good, but not outstanding. However, the Bomboy candy shop was everything a candy shop should be. I thought it was going to be a tiny shop with overpriced fudge and a few chocolates to choose from. I was wrong, and it was amazing! As soon I opened the door the smell made me go in. There were hundreds of candy options and every one I tried was awesome.

First time visitor. The parking is challenging because the place is popular. The line is long but moves quickly. They serve Italian ice and homemade hard ice cream. There are multiple flavors to choose from. It's a little pricy but the flavors that I had were very good. 6.50 for two scoops of ice cream. $3.75 for a scoop of Italian ice and $5.50 for one scoop in a waffle cone. I will be back. Give it a try if you are in the Havre deGrace/Aberdeen/ Perryville area.
