Blue Moon Fish

There are no ifs, ands, or buts about Blue Moon Fish; was a very wonderful location.

Being right on the Intercoastal, you have a fantastic view and can see boats and yachts, which is awesome!

The lunch was delicious and made using high-quality ingredients.

The desserts were yummylicious!

Oh, can not forget the drinks, made just right!

Excellent service was provided for sure.

But two indications are necessary, I must add. Since the location is highly busy, especially during the tourist season, I do advise making reservations --  which is what I did.

Additionally, if it's not too hot outside, get a table on the patio directly by the water. If it is hot outside then sitting inside isn't bad either! It was beautiful inside!

There are some docking options if you have one or more boats, hehe.

Overall, I would recommend my Yelpers to try this place out. Check out the pictures I posted. I did not regret coming here at all!

I was expecting a full on seafood restaurant not just a restaurant with a raw bar selection... But we stayed anyway and enjoyed our time. Mostly because our server Nick was really awesome and made us feel super welcome.  Actually all the staff was pretty freaking cool as well.

Must get the house smoked fish dip. Not at all fishy in taste and had a great balance of flavor and seasonings. The maple horseradish brussel sprouts are crazy addictive too. The lobster roll was refreshing and the fries shrimp on my Caesar was a tad salty but still nice and crispy.

You have the option of indoor and outdoor seating with relaxing water views even with the cars zipping by on the drawbridge a few feet away. With the water access, it looked like you could also sail up to their outdoor seating area on your water craft too.  Will definitely drop by again when back in town.

I'm not sure why I seem to forget about Blue Moon. This was my second time back for lunch. I love that they have docking, and on a Saturday it was the only spot we saw with space open. We were greeted and seated quickly. The restaurant looked nice with all tables beautifully set or seated. No tables sitting with dirty dishes. The service was great, our food came out quickly, and our waters were never empty. The umbrellas they had shaded the entire table so no one was roasting in the sun. My family loved their food but I thought my salad was pretty boring and the blackened chicken was over salted.

We all shared the caramel torte for dessert and it was insanely good. I would go back just for that. I'm looking forward to returning and hopefully ordering a better option, on par with the rest of their food.

Delicious dishes. Superior service. Amazing ambiance. I definitely recommend this restaurant for any day, any occasion!

We went there to celebrate a birthday and my MIL enjoyed it so much! We had an oyster appetizer and delicious refreshing cocktails to start. Our entrees all tasted great and dessert was a soufflé (only thing was a little runny for me). Our server was very nice and answered questions. Everyone was super accommodating to our 2 year old as well which we so appreciated. Even though it's July, we sat outside where they had fans and clear separators so you can still see the ocean right next to you but it wasn't scorching hot.

Sunday brunch is amazing! They have a large selection of crab legs, oysters, shrimp, ceviche, sushi, lamb, brisket, breakfast items, dessert, and much more!

The restaurant is beautifully located on the intracoastal waterfront of Ft. Lauderdale. They offer indoor/outdoor dining. With various selection of tables, they can accommodate large groups. I suggest making a reservation.

Parking is limited. They offer valet and a few pay by phone parking slots directly across the street.

Sunday brunch is $80 per person. It includes a variety of seafood, a carving station, breakfast items, desserts, and unlimited mimosas. You also have the option of ordering small tapas plates for the table. They have a variety of lamb chops, seafood Lasagna, brisket, lobster roll, scallops, and the list goes on. The tapas came out a little cold as if they were sitting out, and we had to request for it to come out extra hot. The was the only reason they lost a star.

The staff is attentive, and they make sure your cup runneth over! That's exciting!

I love the brunch here and look forward to being back!

Nice views by the water and even better tasting food. I went with a group of 6 and our waiter was great the entire night!

To drink I had the beach bourbon smash which was really good and I highly recommend it.  

To eat I had the fried calamari that was for the whole table and it was well cooked. For main dish I had the BLUE CRAB AND GROUPER! This will have your taste buds screaming with joy. As soon as I took my first bite I knew I was in for a delicious meal and it did not disappoint. MAKE SURE TO TRY THIS.

I don't usually get dessert but someone from the table heard that this option was really good so we ordered the icky sticky caramel tarte. It did not disappoint as well. White chocolate bread pudding, banana dulce de leche gelato is the dessert I didn't know I needed!

I will definitely be back!

The food was amazing! I am so glad we came here. Originally, we were trying to book a last minute cruise and dinner but of course everything was booked so we decided dinner on the water. My work wife and I wanted somewhere yummy and with a great view. It was our last night in Florida so we wanted to go all out. It was perfect. The weather was nice and all the recommendations from Ralph, our server was delicious.  Ralph was entertaining and attentive. He even helped me with my lobster. The cocktails was refreshing. We had to be careful because the drinks tasted like juice so we knew it would creep on us. Thankfully, we were walking distance of our hotel. Right after our scrumptious dinner we walked over to the beach and enjoyed the rest of the night watching the sunset and checking out a few areas close by. I am glad we did a reservation because it filled up quickly.

Their Sunday brunch is second to none.    Great food and great service

Great seafood and more!

This place is a rare waterfront gem.  The have gourmet meals, with all types of seafood, plus things like lamb chops, Pad Thai, and more.  

An absolute must is the gumbo.  Super flavorful.  Nice selections of wines and a full bar.  Bartender Catherine and manager Jay are a pleasure to interact with, answer questions and explain the menu.  

The Key Lime Pie is the best I've ever had.
