Great place for breakfast or lunch.
The menu is full of great dishes.
The parking lot may be full but they get you in quickly and there's a heated patio area if you want to eat outside.
Great service, family run business.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Sep 24, 2023Previous reviewI'd like to say this place is a hidden gem but given the full parking lot on any given day it's not so hidden or unknown.
It's a breakfast and lunch spot on the Orange Blossom trail east of the Fresno/Sanger area surrounded by orange groves about 15 minutes west of Pine Flat.
The menu is your basic breakfast fare with sandwiches but the food is prepared far from the mundane breakfast fare you might find in your basic breakfast place.
Just fabulous.
This country kitchen is spot on with bustling cooks and waitresses serving the full tables efficiently.
The hours on weekends were 7am to 2:30 pm, with weekday hours from 7am to noontime.
There is outside seating available as well and if you have to wait it shouldn't be long. - Mar 18, 20241 check-in
The food and service was good, but the place could use some TLC. We were seated at a booth, and the backs of these booths look like they have been washed in years. There were so many stains we didn't want to lean back. They have typical diner food, and we weren't too hungry so we decided to split a sandwich. It was very good, and they were nice enough to serve it on 2 plates and gave us each a side of coleslaw.
We had the sourdough turkey club with pesto mayo and it was very fresh and delicious. The avocados and pesto mayo really enhanced the sandwich. And it was plenty large enough for sharing with our order of fries, which were also very good.
This would definitely be a 4-star place if the booths weren't so dirty.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 18, 2024Updated review
Wow. Still as good as the first time I had it. Eggs Benedict were delicious and filling! They substituted and made it a veggie Benedict for me. Thank you! The yolks were a beautiful yellow orange! The country potatoes were seasoned perfectly. I would have liked if they had tad bit of a crunch to the outside but they were still so good!
The mixed berry waffles were fluffy and crispy. The mixed berries and fruit glaze makes this waffle extra special. It's sweet, but not too sweet! I didn't even need the maple syrup. Probably my most favorite place to get waffles in Fresno County, lol.
My friend loved her steak and eggs and the waffles!!! It was her first time here. We came close to 12pm on a weekday and it was busy yet steady. Our food came out fast. Our servers were friendly and attentive. It says a lot about a restaurant when years go by and it's just as good as the first time! This place is a gem. Thank you, Blossom Trail Cafe!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0May 27, 2018Previous reviewThis place is kind of in the middle of nowhere... but really it's in the countryside of Sanger and Fresno along the blossom trails.
Their eggs Benedict was truly delicious. It isn't always easy for me to find local breakfast restaurants with an eggs Benedict entree. When a restaurant offers it, I'm excited to try it. It was delicious along with the country potatoes it came with.
My boyfriend and I shared a plate of berry waffles and that was delightful! It was a nice switch between my salty and savory breakfast. The waffles were crispy yet soft on the inside along with fresh berries. My boyfriend loved his breakfast entree also.
I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed the blossom trail cafe. The service was friendly as well. My boyfriend really blew me away with this day date. I cannot wait to return to this hidden gem when the boyfriend and I are around the way. - Rekha S.Fresno, CA2162951789Apr 16, 20242 check-ins
While I appreciate the friendly service, I must admit that my recent experience at this establishment has left me somewhat disappointed. Despite being invited here on several occasions, it hasn't quite become my preferred dining choice. The food, while acceptable, falls short of exceptional. Today, I ordered the club sandwich, only to find that the accompanying fries were served completely cold. As someone who typically refrains from sending food back or lodging complaints, I find myself hesitant to become a regular patron. This disappointment echoes a previous encounter, during which the onion rings were overcooked, rendering them hard and excessively oily. Regrettably, today's experience with the fries did little to improve my perception.

Pretty good restaurant out in the middle of nowhere. Definitely recommend if you're traveling to Reedly or Avocado Lake or something

I've been coming here on a somewhat regular for the past 3 years & have always enjoyed the food. I primarily come for breakfast & have yet to be disappointed! I actually came here when this place first opened about 15 years ago & had my first Monte Crisco. Great place to eat, along with friendly staff!
All in all: Good food, clean, along with friendly staff. Will say, Sundays are packed so get there early! Saturdays get packed also.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Monica C.Fresno, CA532118Apr 19, 2024

Well a new adventure unfolded today on the Fresno County Blossom Trail. Stopped in at the Blossom Trail Cafe in Sanger. Any place where the parking lot is full well it has to be good food !!! Place opens at 7:00 a. m. Closes at 2:00 p.m. during the week and closes at 2:30 on the weekends hey what can I say 30 minutes more. Walked in and wow place was packed. No hostess just a tablet on a pedestal we're you sign your name and then you wait. Local are their and folks visiting the Blossom Trail everyone waiting and talking with each other having a good time. Finally our turn to be seated and we're off. Now they point you to your table and your on your own. Lol hey your big boys and girls go sit down.
Truly a Mom and Pop place folks got to love it. We just ordered a burger and a French Dip Sandwich. Burger was good and the French Dip well I'll have to rethink that one over . Prices were ok I guess but hey I was hungry so what the heck down it goes. Staff made their rounds so we left a nice tip anyway and hey we will still give it another try and you should too have fun and smile.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Laura F.Fresno, CA1112225Feb 29, 2024
I've eaten here 3 different times now. In my opinion the food quality/quantity isn't worth the price. Paying over $14 for 2 pieces of French toast, 2 eggs, and 2 slices of bacon is high. Adding the tip on top of that, it's a pricey meal for not a lot of food. :/

Went on Labor Day, and the wait was surprisingly fast for our group of 6. We were seated outside. They were really busy but noticed that their service was quick. They have a large menu, it was a little overwhelming.
I ordered the Mixed double Berry brio French toast and the monterey chicken burger. The food came out in a little over 15 mins. Their portions were big and pricing was fair. Definitely, I would say the breakfast food was good. Their burger was ok. I would definitely return for their breakfast foods.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0
