DONT COME HERE FOR CONCERTS! They charge you for a cup to bring ur drink that you just bought in then CLOSE the concessions once the show starts!
      Unbelievable.

This venue is okay. Will call and security check were very fast, easy, and organized. Ushers were super friendly and welcoming. Acoustics were good, and I liked the seating layout-lots of aisle space and well constructed seats. Only $6 for wine and mixed drinks.

Several of the security guards were very mean, and took their jobs way too seriously. The concert I saw was fantastic, so overall, a good experience.

Awesome venue!!!! I will not review the concert, that wouldn't be fair.

The seats were very comfortable and surprisingly spacious. There was plenty of leg room so I was pleasantly surprised.

I was also surprised at the lack of security. I am used to being patted down and having things, like a camera, taken away from me. I was able to take my camera in with the understanding pictures of the performance were not allowed. I thought being treated like an adult was GREAT!

The theatre is beautiful and the sounds was magnificent. The location is easy to get to, the parking more than plentiful. I like the fact that it is in the middle of a college town so there was plenty to do before the concert.

I wish this venue was closer, but if someone I'm dying to see shows up at the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts, you can bet I'll be there.

Excellent concert hall, volunteers to guide you, great acoustics, plus great concerts make this a wonderful venue to enjoy an evening out.

The Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts has recently finished some great renovations and looks fantastic. I saw Ladysmith Black Mambazo here last year and will see the Indigo Girls here in a few weeks. There will also be speakers; David Sedaris was here in October. It seems like few people actually check here for shows. There won't be a great show here every week, but it's definitely worth checking the schedule once in a while.

What a BEAUTIFUL place...the renovations are amazing. Have been to several performances, both evening and educational matinees...always wonderful. Their private seating area is perfect for amazing meals.

I had a horrible experience with a woman working at the box office. Without giving away too much incriminating information about myself (as she seems plenty spiteful to revoke my tickets for the upcoming event), the theatre made an error and I was charged over $100 for it. When I politely brought this to their attention, the woman in the box office told me that it was my problem and that she wasn't going to do anything about it. When I inquired further she seemed genuinely angry that I wouldn't accept her first rude and dismissive response, and she told me that if I didn't like that I could find some other place to see shows.

I bought these tickets as a gift, and I'm going to give them as I originally intended. But I will never support this theatre again, and I highly recommend you do to the same.

What a great venue. The seats are comfortable, and the auditorium is just the right size for seeing most shows. They also offer a wide variety of acts each season. The types of acts they can draw depends on what's touring each season, but the programmers do a respectable job of bringing quality shows to town. Parking can be a bit scattered. You might have to walk a couple of blocks, but if you're like me, a couple of blocks won't hurt.
