Had a rough start, they were out of crab cakes and salmon, but did they rebound! Some of the best fish and chips I've had! Then we had the ooey gooey cookie for dessert. I am drooling at the though! Perfection! Will be coming back!
Also a very kid friendly place! They can have their own booth to sit at across from you!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brooke V.Indianapolis, IN1577492May 31, 2018
This place was pretty good! Stumbled upon this place while in Anderson and found that is was located in the middle of a neighborhood. Upon entering it seemed like a very tiny dining room, and one of the guests seating near the entrance actually told us it was opening seating while we waited for a hostess. I ordered the shrimp basket and was pleased with the shrimp, although the spring mix garnish seemed a lil awkward. I also had a blue moon and Caesar salad that was just okay! For the prices, it seemed lack luster but if I'm in Anderson again, I wouldn't mind stopping there for the bar!

Loved this place. Too back it went out of business. The bar was the bomb, great ambiance and really good food!

We took advantage of their valentines day special dinner with five other couples, and it did not disappoint. Five courses in all with a glass of house wine commanded carry out boxes! Our first time since it had changed owners and the upscale dinner was wonderful.
Their regular menu seemed to have a wide variety of foods and price ranges to accommodate most guests. They source foods locally when possible and are closed Sunday and Monday. We will definitely be back for dinner and I will try to sneak over there for lunch to try it all out.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jim W.Fort Wayne, IN01611Feb 20, 2016
This was the first time we had dined there since becoming Bloomers. Expecting okay food, especially steak that I was hesitant to order... All I can say was that I was very pleasantly surprised it had s great outdoor grilled flavor. My wife had the grilled chicken without bun (off-menu request). She raved about the wood grilled flavor. Both very juicy and prepared perfectly. Baked potato with salted skin- great. The only thing I would recommend is sit in the bar area to eat if you can or prefer quiet atmosphere. The restaurant can get loud (friends and local enjoying each other's company) and lighting is pretty bright.
Otherwise a great value and hidden gem. Will definitely return.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Danielle S.Anderson, IN08Feb 4, 2018
We love going to Bloomers! We find ourselves there about once a week. Great food, great price & atmosphere. We have become friends with the staff, they are so nice and personal. A local little gem.

We stopped here mid-afternoon for a late lunch. I had the veggie burger and my husband and father both had the prime rib sandwich. All of our food was excellent, as well as the service. Well priced, great place!

We frequent this restaurant very often for lunch. Usually no problems. Today was different. Felt the waitress was not properly trained. Had a hard time inputting our order on the tablet. ( needs to be paper at the table and tablet in the kitchen) Soup came out with food and was cold. Fried chicken was dry. Bills were completely messed up. Step it up Bloomers!!

Unique menu options! They add fresh new items to the menu frequently and always have weekly specials. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Cute kids booths and great drink specials!

Good food, but stay away on a Friday or Saturday night. There is almost always a large banquet/wedding party happening in the building and service tends to be lacking during those times. Everyone tries their best, but you can only do so much when you've got 18 drinks to make for a wedding party next door.
