Oh boy! It's oily, greasy, fatty and full of carbs, but you bet I enjoyed every flavorful hot bite I took, and it's not like I want to have the incredible biryani and lamb curry everyday.
The biryani is full of spice and flavor, I could take it home and even combine it with some extra boiled rice. The lamb similarly, extremely rich and meant for multiple meals easily. In moderation, this meal is a delight to your visual, gustatory and olfactory senses (tactile too if you opt to eat the biryani with your hands in true fashion), take it home and enjoy it over the next couple days as the taste simmers into the meat too.
Excited to be back and try some of their paneer and vegetarian dishes.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 4, 2024Updated review12 check-ins
My favorite Indian restaurant, hands-down in the whole state of California. This is a family own establishment that prodes itself on the quality and freshness of their food. I can't imagine having anything more authentic than actually go to India or Pakistan and get food there the owner and son know my name, and treat me with white glove treatment, even when I order from Uber Eats and don't come to the restaurant. Everything from the vegan dishes to their amazing garlic naan, to my favorite the tandoori lamb all so delicious and so so fresh. You will wait a second, or two or three because everything is cooked to order, so know it's worth your wait.

Dec 9, 2018Previous reviewGood authentic food. Just watch the spies go they can be very spicy so order mild our regular but you're still gets spicy. Prices can be a little high I found cheaper places where the food quality is just as good or better but nevertheless I will be a repeat customer location is convenient.

Lunch specials are a bargain, and they only asked for 30 minutes notice to be able to make 25 of them! I do think their saag paneer, off the dinner menu, is much more impressive. I might be back for lunch because it's hard to beat that price, but I'm more likely to come by for dinner.

Do yourself a favor and run don't walk! The Karahi is made to perfection with slow cooked meat and pieces of ginger that give a nice textured spice to the dish. The Chicken biryani has caramelized onions folded in for pockets of sweetness. The chicken Makhni is a classic butter chicken that never misses. Their cheese Naan is gooey and delicious! I've ordered delivery and dined in before with no change in quality.

The food was great! We chose this place because they had chicken tikka kabob, and it was amazing! It came out sizzling with onions still caramelizing in the pan, and was juicy and tender. The pakora came with a yummy chutney. We also had the Baingan Bartha and veggie korma, both so flavorful. One of my favorites was the raita. It was a thick and flavorful, and they gave us a really good amount! And the sesame naan was fantastic; light and fluffy and crisp. Everything tasted fresh and delicious!

I came to Biryani Tika Kabab recently and I gotta say the food was super solid.
What I got: lamb curry, keema naan, aloo naan, fish tandoori, and chicken biryani.
In particular I really loved the keema naan which came with a good amount of of meat on it. And I also really really enjoyed the chicken biryani. The lamb curry was solid and the fish tandoori was so tender and juicy. Keep in mind though I think the fish they use is catfish and it does have a muddy taste to it as catfish usually does. Also the green sauce was pretty herbaceous and spicy and complimented the food really well!
The servers were nice and I love that the restaurant kept the previous place's decoration which gives Biryani Tika kabab a cute charm.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - big sexy s.Los Angeles, CA0122188Feb 7, 2024
Took My daughter to this joint near Jack London Square and it didn't disappoint. We had the prawn Biryani, goat curry, chicken Kabab, garlic naan and cheese naan. All of it was delicious. The spices they use in the entrees are something I've never had tasted before and that was the best part of it all. Love that spice .

Best Pakistani food in Bay Area. We were in Oakland for marathon and found this hidden gem. The food is as authentic as it gets. I have eaten some of best Pakistani foods and this one is one of the best. We ordered goat Karahi, chicken korma, fish tandoori, goat curry, chicken biryani and everything was super delicious. The naans were super as well especially the sesame naan. Mr Bahadar is such an awesome person and served with lot of love. The food is not super spicy and our kids enjoyed. Highly recommend and we will make special trip from peninsula to Oakland to eat again!! Not to be missed..

I've been here a couple of times. The first time I got the vege kofta curry and cheese naan, which I really enjoyed since it was very creamy, cheesy and rich. The second time I got the palak paneer and plain naan, which I think are pretty good as well. The third time, I ordered palak paneer, paneer tikka masala, and two plain naan. I was rather underwhelmed by the paneer tikka masala as I felt it tasted watered down and too bland, since I was expecting it to be more flavorful so that the naan would balance it out. But the palak paneer was still solid.
Their prices have gone up a little bit recently, although they're still quite affordable.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Nora S.Oakland, CA0175Mar 13, 2024
By far one of the best Indian places I've ever eaten. The food is well flavored, the staff was kind and remedied the issue the one time I had a problem with my order. I love pretty much all the naans. Our go to favorites are the chicken makhani, the prawn tikka masala, and the goat curry. The meat is tender and well cooked every time. We mostly do delivery and always receive our food hot, it's actually incredible. The green sauce is so refreshing and adds a delightful zing to every dish. I cannot recommend this place enough.
