Appointment was at 745am. It's now 9:18am and still have not seen the doctor. I'm feeling like they don't respect their patients time but will gladly take their money.

I had a consultation at BioSpine with Todd Williams because I wanted a minimally invasive procedure for back pain. They took an X-ray of my back and hip and said my hip was worse than the back. Todd Williams examined both hips by spreading them. When he spread the left one I think I heard a crack and yelled out in pain. He said that just proves that I need hip surgery first and gave me a referral to see an orthopedic surgeon. He said that my insurance company would probably mandate that I go to physical therapy first approving surgery. I went to an orthopedic surgeon whom I had previously seen who said I don't need surgery yet. I contacted BioSpine at least six times over several months asking for an appointment for the procedure. I was told I needed the orthopedic surgeon records and they were sent to them. I called several times and did not receive a response. I emailed through their website and they contacted the office and gave me the name of the person who was supposed to get back to me. I also complained about a disk of the X-ray that I paid $10 for that didn't work. The orthopedic surgeon's office told me that I was the second patient that day who had an X-ray from BioSpine that didn't work. I did speak to someone twice but an appointment was never made. One person that I spoke to told me that I didn't show up to an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon. I told her that was not true - I never made an appointment with their orthopedic surgeon. I now believe they wanted me to see an orthopedic surgeon in their office. It's now obvious to me that they didn't want my business but wanted my $10.

This process doesn't work for everyone. I spent over $6,000 of my own $ (as my insurance didn't cover any of it), and my back pain is exactly the same as it was before the consultation/xray/MRI/RFA procedure/follow-up. I was told by the Dr to expect 1 year of pain relief for my lower lumbar issues, but I only got about 2 weeks of semi-relief. My mindset going in was "I have to at least try it if it's going to give me a whole year of pain relief", but I definitely wouldn't have gone through all the $/time/effort if I knew how little help it got me.

I recently had surgery for spinal stenosis at BioSpine. Dr. Bono is amazing! From my first visit to post op appt the staff handled everything...from ordering pre-op bloodwork, setting up RN & PT after surgery IN MY HOME, to calling me to see how I was. The BioSpine surgery center is state of the art and staffed with excellent professionals. I highly highly recommend BioSpine & Dr. Bono!!

I WILL NEVER GO BACK... Drove over 2 hrs to get there, had my mri. They took multiple xrays of low back & cervical neck. Dr. Cucchi kept talking about my LOW BACK & what could be done to fix that. Go to a hospital because of my age, 69. I went because of tremendous neck pain that goes from mid-back to up my neck into my head and I get horrible headaches. He totally ignored me & kept changing the subject to my low back. Referred me to pain Medicine. Evaluate and treat. I WENT THERE BECAUSE THEIR AD SAYS THEY TREAT NECK PAIN.......So my 2 hr plus drive was FOR NOTHING!!! Stay away from BioSpine in Lakeland. I am still looking for someone to help me. I thought for sure they could help, ad specifically said neck pain. So disappointed. My name was even spelled wrong & I told the girl at the desk & when I got to the room, it was still wrong, part correct, but not right.

I called BioSpine to get an estimate on how much it would cost to see a doctor. They said I was out of network so it would be around $120. I went to see Dr. Ronzo and he saw me for 15 minutes and said surgery would not be needed. The office failed to bill me and billed my insurance and billed them for an office visit of $$826 which $591 would be my balance. I've sent 7 emails to billing@biospine.com without one reply. Their customer service and communication seems to be non-existent and they are billing out office visits at $826 which is absurd!

I was referred to Dr Ronzo of BioSpine . My back pain was due to a pinched nerve in my lumbar 3 and 4 vertebrae. Dr Ronzo recommended surgery. Two weeks later Dr Ronzo operated and after physical therapy my pain is gone . Thank you Dr Ronzo!!

BioSpine Lakeland scheduled me for surgery..giving me hope that finally I would have pain relief. 13 days out they moved the date up because the surgeon was going on vacation...when I went in for preop they ceremoniously rejected me for high bmi. While I understand bmi can be risky..here are a few things:

      1) I started this process months ago... same BmI...why have me get new mris lab work and schedule surgery if that was an issue..talkvto me then..don't raise my hope

2): the doctor didn't even have the manners to come in and talk to me that day..he had his staff tell me and then walked me out...

      3) we know I am in chronic pain...and when I tried to renew the pain meds
      ....they denied them...

Staff great.... UT very bad bedside manners...I will have surgery one day...but definitely don't trust this group

It was a bad experience. Got sent for neurology testing and then got a text for a follow up after my neurology testing. Made the appointment and got there early. The girl at the desk asked me if I had the results from the neurologist I told her that the neurologist was giving the order and was going to send the results to BioSpine. my follow-up appointment had no information from the neurologist at all and only requested to see if I had the results. They were quick to make a follow-up appointment, but had no idea of where the information was that they had ordered. Sat there for two hours, and walked out. Worst run medical facility I've ever experienced. if the office is such a disappointment. It made me lose all confidence in their doctor as well. Don't waste your time.
