Billy's Seafood

Billy's Seafood is an amazing combination of wonderful, seafood, and even better customer service. I usually visit the Outer Banks only during the off-season, when it's rather difficult to find certain types of seafood, but Billy's never fails. They consistently have some of the best and biggest blue crabs that I've ever had, and the prices are incredibly affordable. But the best part of Billy's is the customer service! The team at Billy's is polite, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about their seafood. I can't wait to go back.

I found this place on a quick Yelp search as my boyfriend and I were leaving OBX and heading back home from a way to short vacation.

I had a craving for some blue crabs to take home with us and this place did NOT disappoint. As someone who grew up in DC and travels from Richmond to BMore several times a year, just for some Maryland crabs, I was pleasantly surprised! The price for their male #1's were very reasonable. AND they were really good! The meat was sweat and the seasoning was well balanced. There is a reason this place popped up in my top recommendations.

I can't wait for my next trip to the OBX. Next time, I will stop here on the way in AND on the way out!

Excellent fresh seafood! Got some outstanding fresh albacore tuna and went back today for a bushel of steamed hard shells. All very good! They've been in business for 40+ years and know seafood!

Look no further for fresh seafood.... This Colington Road market has some of the biggest shrimp around. Their prices are super reasonable and their inventory is fresh. We came in for a few pounds of jumbo shrimp. We had them steamed and they offer up a nice selection of seasoning. We also purchased some frozen crab legs, a bit pricey but oh so delicious and worth every nickel. They will also season and shrimp. The market has some other grocery products if you don't feel like making another stop. Parking is easy, private lot.

Always the best blue crab you can get. Friendly and straightforward. We have picked up half and whole bushels at least 10 times.

What a great little store! They have the best homemade tuna salad I've ever tasted. I make sure I get some every time I come down to the OBX. They have a great selection of fresh seafood too. The ladies that work there are super nice.

Friendly Customer Service and superb fresh jumbo lump crabmeat. Highly recommend this seafood market.

I always stop by this shop on the way home for fresh fish and shrimp. always smelly and dirty. And this week there was a shock, it was impossible to enter the store, there was such a stench, as if all the fish had sighed. I bought some fish and ran out, but I didn't want to eat at home and I couldn't. Although the prices are there, it's like the last fish in the sea.

Wow. Billy's strikes again. Soft shells. Tile fish and the freshest local tuna. Won't find that at Publix or food lion. Great food great prices and great people. Nice work team.
