I'm just going to just say the bad first mainly because it it was exceptionally annoying and the only reason I'm not giving it five stars. THE WAIT was unbelievable. My girlfriend and I came in when there were roughly only six or seven tables and we each ordered an omelette. Very quick and easy item to make but we unfortunately found ourselves waiting close to forty minutes for our food to actually come out. It was getting to the point of me wondering if they lost our order.
On to the good side of this review. I finally got a chance to come in to see it after the new renovations and it was gorgeous inside. Much more open and inviting. The food was somehow even better than it was before. Couldn't think of single bad thing to say about my food. Taste and presentation was great. I even ordered a second entree.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - John E.Collingswood, NJ102430Jan 26, 2020

Billy's is a great place to go for brunch when you're going with a group of people with varying tastes. It's like a diner version of a Cheesecake Factory. They have all kinds of sweet and savory options, including a lunch menu. I have never personally ordered anything off the lunch menu, opting instead for breakfast items.
I love their coffee. They offer a "Peeps"-uccino, inspired by the Bethlehem-made Peep marshmallow snack, but I am too horrified by the idea to order it. I go for just the regular coffee. The Yanna's Omelette (basically a greek omelette) is always a solid option. The "Vegan-esque" Omelette menu offering will never stop baffling me since it is made with eggs and chevre and in no way resembles anything vegan, but it is still good. I've gotten the huevos rancheros sans sausage and it was great. The Cannoli Tower is crazy and amazing - french toast stuffed with cannoli cream and fruit. A good option to share with the table, but I can't imagine eating the entire thing myself. I've seen mention of some new plant-based dishes (avocado toast and some grain bowls?) but have not yet had the opportunity to try them.
There is an enormous amount of seating, both inside and outdoors, but I understand they are going through some renovations so I'm interested to see what the finished product will look like. Service is generally okay but depends on the volume of patrons. Parking is metered and on the street, but it usually isn't too difficult to get a spot.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Melissa M.Coplay, PA247158400Jul 15, 2018
First time at this location of Billy's. The food was amazing as usual . The service is what lost them a star ... there were a number of open tables, yet the wait was over 25 minutes to be seated and another 10 to 15 for our server to come. So that might be just being picky.

At this moment in time Billy's is my absolute favorite restaurant to grab breakfast. All of the food is fresh and super unique.
I have been here several times now and always leave full and satisfied. Prices are a bit expensive for breakfast but it's one of those times where you get what you pay for. Portions are quite generous and everything I tried was fantastic.
I usually order one of their daily specials when I visit, but when it comes to the everyday menu my favorite dish is called Heuvos Rancheros.
It consists of a corn tortilla topped with refried beans, chorizo sausage, melted pepper jack and cheddar cheese with two fried eggs, guacamole and green chilis. Served with homefries. Amazing!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Mar 13, 2018
I have only visited for breakfast and have had great food and good service every time. Love the modern feel and view of downtown. I usually go around 8am and have never had a problem finding nearby parking.

My husband and I haven't been here in a long time and we found ourselves with a random Friday (both off from work and the kids at school) looking for somewhere to eat some delicious breakfast. We thought of Billy's! It was not busy in here...but if you come on a weekend you pretty much will definitely run into a crowd. The atmosphere is open, clean and airy. It was Christmas time so it was tastefully decorated. Our waitress was friendly and the food came out quick. I had something from their savory menu...French toast with cannoli cream and strawberries. DELICIOUS! We were in and out of here pretty quickly so I was grateful for that so my husband and I could capitalize on the kid free time.
Will be back again!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Oct 20, 2017
This place came so highly recommend. We came on a work day and it was completely empty. Only 1 type of milk for your coffee. Didn't bring Splenda or equal to the table. Asked if we wanted cheese on our home fries and slapped on 2 slices of white American. Are you proud to serve this? Then as soon as our meal came she threw down the check so we were rushed out of an empty diner. Please do yourself a favor and go to Superior, Trivet, or Starlight. Save yourself a ton of money and maybe get appreciated

Uber excites to hear they reopened however extremely disappointed with the service, 25 minutes to get a cup of coffee, as well as the food. Sriracha bowl typically my go to in the past, was subpar to say the least, Avocados were hard, no green chiles, asked for pulled chicken but was given pulled pork.
No longer a restaurant I would visit again.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kelly G.NJ, NJ21420Nov 12, 2019
I don't think I've ever stumbled across a better restaurant. After a local race, I heard some people mention this diner and I figured I'd give it a shot. Apparently I was not alone, a ton of race participants flooded to restaurant and they handled it like pros. Since I was solo, I snagged a seat at the counter but it looked like they had a ton of seating options. The service was incredibly friendly and my coffee was constantly being refilled. I had the breakfast melt and it was perfection. The bread was toasted and buttery and the fillings were generous. It was accompanied by some of the best homefries I've ever had. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area!
