I love Texoma BBQ. This location is the closest to the Quad Cities, which I traveled an hour and a half for. The customer service was impeccable. Great pulled pork, Mac and cheese, baked beans, Texas toast, corn bread, and twice baked potato salad. My kids love the corn on the cob and my wife loves the bologna sliders. Nice sweet taste that separates it from Carolina or Kansas City style BBQ.
I will definitely make the trip to Burlington again.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 0352May 10, 2023Updated review
After eating the leftovers the following day I added a star it deserved.
Good flavor and still moist. No reheating required to enjoy!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0May 8, 2023Previous reviewWalked from the Hampton to here and got the ribs and brisket to go.
Both were good for fast food BBQ and deffo worth the walk.
The place looked clean. - Trevor J.Saint Louis, MO0515May 23, 2023Updated review
Overpriced and bland food... the kids working are rarely smiling and said the meat is reheated from yesterday.
It's not a fantastic decoration, kinda half attempt.
I will not be eating this place again. Even free, not worth it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Sep 11, 2022Previous reviewPrice vs value is not there, meet is very subpar and the service is lacking. Way to pricey for the quality and quantity of food.

Ordered large amount of food for group. Had it delivered through door dash. The brisket and chicken were some of the best I've had from a fast food BBQ place. Only complaint would be they forgot our BBQ sauce. Also the chocolate and banana desserts were incredible!

How did I even end up in Iowa? This was the only place open by the time I hit Burlington, so Sims it was. I figured that this far northwest, ribs would be the order of the, so ribs it was. And how it was? Pretty good. One rib out of 13 or 14 was burnt, and a couple pulled the cartilage with the meat as I ate, but all of them were fall-off-the-bone tender. The sauce didn't seem to have a kick to it, but after I finished all the ribs, a slow burn started to set in. So far, so good. Sides were on point. The beans weren't anything to write home about, but they weren't bland or gross. The baked potato salad is a great idea and you will order that as your side.
This was all 4 stars, so, being on vacation, I decided to consummate my meal with dessert. HUGE MISTAKE. I tried the banana pudding, but it's basically cool whip with some bananas in it. The bananas were gloppy and gross. Cool whip is horrifyingly disgusting. I just threw the whole thing out. Full star deduction.
Verdict: Not St. Louis, but ribby enough to say this is BBQ in Iowa. Avoid dessert like your life depends on it.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Susan A.Davenport, IA60215Apr 1, 2019
Hands-up,- its a touchdown! Best fast food BBQ I have ever had! Counter-ordering allows you to choose a variety of moist smoked meats pulled, sliced or cut right in front of you. Steamy and moist with great flavor you can choose from classic or premium meats to which you add sides varying from Mac and cheese to traditional beans, slaw, corn or more. Texas toast is included with rib or entrees with corn bread as an add-on. Pickles, peppers and onions can be added at the end.
Definitely worth a second play and to remind you, there is a fabulous drink cup to go!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Corey W.Davenport, IA027Nov 25, 2022
Good barbecue for a chain restaurant. Kind of bad to get in logistically but always clean and quick.

In the place first open day one through one-year mark the food was excellent. Since then his decline substantially Andrews Park to rectify the situation has been sparse since the first year the food is drying it's drying out or not putting moisture back into the meat they're just letting it dry out it's not the greatest barbecue place would recommend Dillons or Smokey blues trailer but both of those places do not have the greatest of hours of open business.
