Bijou Nails & Spa

My daughter and I used to patron them regularly for an entire year right after the opened, and we were satisfied with their service. Then an incident happened with one of the owners who was doing my nails which upset me and I stopped going there. He had me sit and wait for him while he was running the business. My time is as valuable as his, so it didn't sit well. I made sure he understood my dissatisfaction.
Last week was my daughter's wedding so we decided to go back for mani and pedis. It was me , her, my mom and my daughter in law. My appointment was with the same person, one of the owners (being respectful and not mentioning his name). Mind you he did the same thing. Everyone started and finished their mani and pedis, but I was sitting waiting for him. Eventually I called him up and let him know that it's very irresponsible of him and if he needs to run his business then he shouldn't book appointments for himself. I asked for someone else to do my nails. We had million things to do but everyone was waiting for me to be done because we had gone in one car. It's a shame that this happened. They are a nice establishment with good workers. We won't be going back.

The staff is very friendly, I came with my mother and we had a very nice experience in this salon.

From the first day I came in I've loved it here. I've always been greeted with great enthusiasm and attention, even if they've been busy they always manage to seat me right away and they start working on me right away.

I just want to start this with I've always been a nail biter, and I've always done acrylic but with time my nails have paid a price. I went into Bijou with great recommendations from my best friend and she told me that she loves the way they do hard gel. I've done gel in the past but my nails never grow, but I asked for Hard gel with high hopes.

Annie was the first person who did my hard gel mani and omg my nails have flourished ever since. They're so healthy and strong, they've never chipped or broke. I've even bent them and they've never broke. I love the way they handle my nails with so much detail because the proof is in the way they've been so strong and long. I get so many compliments from people asking who does my acrylics and I feel so happy to tell them that they're my real nails.

Recently I've been getting them done with John and he's amazing, he leaves my nails looking so beautiful. So if you're looking for hard working nail tech's that take pride in their work, please come here! Ask for Annie or John and I promise you'll be happy to have found your forever nail tech

I've been here twice now, and both times, I've consistently had stellar and attentive service. I came in without an appointment and they were able to accommodate me right away. This may just become my new go-to nail salon!

The ladies who helped me with my mani/pedi were the sweetest! I never felt rushed and they were very gentle. I especially really liked how they shaped my nails. It just looked professional and clean. I felt like I was with my aunties. They even recommended some boba shops in the area to check out after!

The shop was clean and it didn't have the typical smell of a nail salon. The bonus for me whenever I get my nails done is of course the massage chair. Theirs was great!

The best part is parking is super easy. You can park in the public lot around the corner where the first 90 mins are free.

I don't recommend this salon.
- The manicurist cut me and removed skin to the point of bleeding in multiple places. One of my toes continued to bleed and I needed a bandaid.
- Most nail salons smell like chemicals, but the chemical smell here is overwhelming.
- They charge a $2 credit card transaction fee.

I'm mainly posting this review so that I remember not to go back.

Hai does not mess around when it comes to Manis!! I've been going to him for almost a year now and he has set the bar so high! He is meticulous yet efficient, and creative too. I have yet to break a nail, even if I go 6 weeks without a mani. Cindy at the front desk doesn't mess around either. She always has great nails and is nice to talk to. Great vibes at Bijou!

Wonderful service. Easy to get an appointment, there are a lot of chairs for spa pedicures and friendly and accommodating staff. I go every few months and my nails always last at least 2 weeks. Have gotten gel mani, gel pedi, gel-x extensions, acrylic extensions and nail art. Pricing is also straightforward, which I appreciate. I'm always happy with my results! Thank you!

Clean, friendly staff and good service. I felt like the massage could have been a little longer but my mani lasted nearly 2 weeks.

Got gel x here for $75 (not including tip). Nail salon is spacious. It's not the cleanest but it's maintained well. Khiem did my nails and he had great attention to detail. He kept comparing each finger and reshaping as needed to make sure everything was even. Very happy with my service!

This is the best nail shop in Glendale! I been getting my nails done since I was 10 and always went to East L.A. with Paul and it was my home nail shop. Years later I let my own nails grow and started to do dipping powder instead of acrylics. Then I move to Glendale and really had a hard time finding the right nail shop. Let me tell u that at Bijou Nails, I have been treated so nice since day 1. Hai and His girl Van are so good at what they do. They are truly one of a kind Nail Artists! I am ol skool and I like the 90's type of nails with the airbrush designs but with Hai there never is a dull moment because I show him or tell him what I want and HE ALWAYS NAILS IT!!! My pedicure girl Jenni is so good too! Always leaves my toes looking good!
