Big Tony's West Philly Cheesesteak

Outstanding cheesesteak. Low profile ambiance, clean & simple, as what one would expect from a hoagie place. Husband was born in Philly and seconds my opinion.

This place is great. Fries were still crispy when delivered, spicy mozzarella sticks were chicken steak shrimp I think you can order anything here and it. I'm going to sleep really good. On Uber app

I hated to say anything, because we've been loving Big Tony's for years, but on our last visit we were rather disappointed. We realize with the economy that prices are going up, and maybe Anthony is just trying to keep his prices from rising too much. But our cheesesteak order on this occasion was very sparse on actual beef. If you look at my past photos, the portions were pretty generous. This time, the beef didn't even cover the bread. Good flavor still, just getting thin on filling. Pretty soon, it'll just be bread soaked in beef juice.

Met Big Tony, great host and super proud of his offerings... he should be too because it is one of the best Philly sandwiches I've had!

We love to get to go lunch from here. Their spicy mozzarella sticks make a yummy snack. I haven't tried a Philly cheese steak here that I didn't like. The other day we did order a side of sweet potato fries that were soggy and cold, but I still give them 4 stars because their Philly cheese steaks are so good!

Still to this day I absolutely love Big Tony's cheesesteaks. If you have not gone to visit, I highly suggest you go because the varieties of cheesesteaks are endless. I still order my favorite which is a #14 with spicy fries and a Dr. Pepper. Add the special sauce on EVERYTHING and devour it without looking up once at other people having conversations at the table with me.

I recommend ordering ahead! Yummy Sandwiches are a decent size as well . Kind of a hole in the wall.

The staff was very friendly, helping us out since we were first timers. I ordered the chicken and beef with onions and French fries. They quickly prepared and bagged food to go.

Prior to leaving our bag accidentally fell on the floor with a few fries coming out. Immediately the server went back and made new fries. Thank you for great customer service and hot and delish sammies!

The cheesesteaks are very good and the wings are large but the prices are a bit too high in my opinion. The funnel fries are delicious too but again, way too expensive. Almost $4 for a bottle soda and the fountains are almost $3 for a child size cup. I'm giving 4 stars due to the pricing of this place AND the fact that they have a photo on the wall of Bill Cosby, a convicted rapist. Time to retire that framed photo maybe?

Big Tony's hasn't disappointed me yet. Everything was good from the sandwich to the fries.

The Philly Cheese Steak taste good but their ratio is way off. The small has less than half a cup of filling in them. I had to scrape my insides down to fill up my sandwich leaving o'er half my sandwich empty. The staff is rude but smiles while they're rudest its even worse than bad service. And you have to pay for bbq sauce which is fine but you can only pay cash. Which we didn't have. And even tho we spent $40 on lunch we couldn't have a cup of BBQ for our sweet potato fries. Weird. Won't be back.
