I took my wedding photos here and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
You do need a permit to bring a professional photographer to take photos here. It costs about $370.
You must apply for permit way in advance but I got lucky and I hit it in a week.
Totally worth it bring that I grew up in LA and wanted to capture my hometown essence and lure.Helpful 13Thanks 4Love this 12Oh no 0 - Dec 24, 2023
It's a peaceful park that has beautifully laid out paths, big old trees, has a 'Beverly Hiils' sign in front of a small pond that has colorful fishes & few lotuses.
Street parking is available near the park.
It's one of the most Instagrammable places in LA.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - May 21, 2023
Beverly Gardens Park is a must-see in Beverly Hills. It is located on Santa Monica Blvd between Wilshire to Doheny. Here you will find the famous lily pond and Beverly Hills sign . There are also rose and cactus gardens and a beautiful old tree along and a glorious fountain. It's a great place for pictures.
Many permanent art sculptures are on display here. Twice a year, on a weekend, you can catch the Beverly Hills Art Show (May and October).
The park spans for 1.9 miles and has a dirt trail that is a nice place to take a walk or jog in nature. It is a well-maintained park and just steps away from shops and restaurants.Helpful 5Thanks 1Love this 5Oh no 0 - May 21, 2023
Such a beautiful park where the Beverly Hills art show is held. Plenty of shady areas to sit and rest. Scenic pond with water lilies. Yellow Protea
grow in the gardens. Clean restrooms and benches.
A 100 year old Moreton Bay fig ficus
shades a good portion of the street. The roots wind themselves out of the ground. Great photo op and a home for children playing. Just a trip to see the magnificent tree is worth it.
Free street parking.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 1 - Aug 20, 2022
Swimming pools, movie stars! Yeah, it may be a myth and all, but anywhere in Beverly Hills can be a thrilling experience - especially for a Midwesterner like me. Of course, a lot of residential parts are restricted but there's always Rodeo Drive and this park! Parking is behind the park and it's $1.50 an hour (be sure to bring quarters!). That gives you time to explore the area a bit as I walked to Rodeo Drive and got a selfie with the sign.
For whatever reason, the park is noted for its lily pond but the water kinda looked nasty. They make it clear that no one is allowed to jump in. But this is a tourist magnet and not surprisingly, one of the most Instagrammable places. Don't let the busy Santa Monica Boulevard/Route 66 intimidate you.
Worth stopping at if you're a selfie or pop culture geek.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jul 4, 2022Updated review
Three years ago since my last 3 star review, fast forward to now July 4th 2022, this park is currently not undergoing any construction. It's well maintained despite the high crowds globally and locally, this park is among my favorite BH 90210 sites, is a must visit. Recommend. 5 stars!
Helpful 84Thanks 0Love this 83Oh no 0Sep 12, 2018Previous reviewBeverly Gardens Park is one of the parks I frequent. It stretches on Santa Monica Bl North from Doheny Dr to Wilshire Bl. The park is and has been undergoing major work by the BH and LA, a large stretch is fenced and there's major excavation.
This work has been ongoing for months. There are hugh pipes made of what appears to be hard plastic of some sort. I've been checking to make sure the rose garden, artworks and other flora are not destroyed in the process. I hate the traffic congestion it causes, not happy this lovely park is torn up. The area around the lily pound is untouch thus far, and the tourists flock there. I like the entirety of this park and miss the ability to walk the entire path uninterrupted. Until all this work is complete my rating is between a 2-3, the later because I reside in this city and love it.Aug 26, 2018Previous reviewBeverly Gardens is the most visible park in Beverly Hills because it's located on North Santa Monica Bl which is one of the main thoroughfare.
This weekend there's been bus loads of tourists to take pics of this lily pond. While most tourists are nice, some are so rude and have No Manners and bump into others without an apology :( Its a good thing they didn't bump into me, I have Fendi as my bodyguard, she will express her displeasure with a growl or bark ;)
This park is popular for because it is really nice, and well maintained by the city of BH, worth a visit.Aug 25, 2018Previous reviewBeverly Gardens is a very nice park but park seating is limited. The walking/jogging path is great but sometimes you just want to sit and park your tush;)
May 2, 2018Previous review5/02/2018 Beverly Gardens Park on North Santa Monica Bl in Beverly Hills is a park but mostly the strip of land that stretches from Doheny Drive big fountain to Wilshire Bl with the classic fountain across from the now wonderful Waldorf Astoria Hotel. Love walking along this dirt path with my furbabe. Along the path we always bump into a neighbor or acquaintance or some hot hot hot looking guy jogging along ;) Oh and my little angles is such a flirt too!
This is an overdue review for this lovely park I have enjoyed as a Beverly Hills resident for over 30 years. It offers an infinite list of niceness: it's almost always very clean, well maintained by the city, long pathway stretching from Doheny Drive to Wilshire, there are at least 4 significant landmark fountains, a n award winning rose garden with exotic rose varieties, also a cactus garden, notable Art Sculptures and some of the oldest living Banyan trees in Los Angeles. My furbabe loves walking through this park and the pathway and love stopping to smell the roses...so loApr 24, 2018Previous reviewThis is an overdue review for this lovely park I have enjoyed as a Beverly Hills resident for over 30 years. We passed by this park while we were on the Big Bus Tour and I must say that the local residents that live here are really lucky to have this gem of a park in their city.
They have trails, a little water fountain, a sign of the Beverly Hills park, and tons of flowers, making this a beautiful place to walk around. I almost looked at it as if it was mini arboretum, even!
I saw tons of people lounging around, reading a book, taking a walk for their morning, and strolling with their babies or doggies.
If you ever find yourself in the 90210 zip code, check this place out for a nice walk in the park.Helpful 43Thanks 0Love this 48Oh no 0 - Paul W.Los Angeles, CA01426Sep 10, 2023
Beautiful park with lush gardens, trees and path. Lovely old fountain at Santa Monica and Wilshire Boulevards. Benches all around too for taking a break from walking. There's even an awesome cactus garden. Bathroom in park which was nice. Overall I highly recommend this lovely park.

Lovely park! The water lillies were absolutely breathtaking! Ive never seen water lillies so big or of so many colors anywhere else.
The plaques around the park gave a lot of great information. I had no idea the pond had been there so long. The history was very interesting. Its right by a lot of great shop's and restaurants.
We walked to sprinkles to get cupcakes and then ate them at the park.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Arlene L.Northridge, Los Angeles, CA2220594Nov 18, 2022
Bring your visitors here. Nice little park with clean restrooms. Take photo by the Beverly Hills sign and on one of the streets with palm trees. On some weekends, this little park hosts art shows where you can find unique pieces. Come in by lunch and you'll find food trucks during the art show. Nice place to hang around on a weekend. Parking is limited.
