Better Meat

I was trying to find a source for veal sweetbreads and came across this store or butcher shop
Easy to find and almost drove by as located strictly in a residential neighborhood
And entering it was more than low key but the two staff greeted me warmly. The whole operation reminded me of small local butcher shops found at home in the upper Midwest or small towns in SK or MB where there only might be a small butcher store or Chinese restaurant for locals
At any rate I got a couple of one pound packages of veal sweetbreads and the price was great
Staff was more than friendly and polite
I am anxious to go back and maybe try some of their ribeyes
At home in Minnesota veal sweetbreads are so hard to find this indeed was a welcome find. These proved to be of excellent quality

I love better meats. This is a neighborhood shop where you always feel welcome. Over the years I have purchased everything from turkey wings for Thanksgiving gravy to tomahawk steaks as a Father's Day gift for my son. I love the atmosphere, the people and of course, the product.

I called in to order a prime rib 6 days before Christmas and was worried I wouldn't be able to get one but it wasn't an issue. They asked if I wanted it seasoned or unseasoned and I chose seasoned which was perfectly seasoned. Everyone that worked there was super nice and the prime rib roast had great flavor. I would definitely recommend this butcher shop.

Call ahead for your order, they are excited about your orders and are super nice! It's a great way to get exactly what you want for your party or holiday meal

A classic butcher shop. Plenty of help so I didn't have to wait at all. I ordered 4 steaks and they were cut exactly how I wanted them. The quality of the meat is up there. It's a bit spendy but you get what you pay for. I saw somebody pick up some nice marrow bones and a bag of nice looking meat scraps. I do believe I'll be surprising my dog the next time I go in there.

Good service and they have hard to find items like my Wagu Asada. Personable and intuitive service.

I just uploaded a current price sheet. I like the ability to call in an order and have it ready when needed. A great selection of Uli's sausages!

Great meat! they are a real old fashion butcher shop. Very helpful and knowledgeable.

I don't go here often, but they are great! If you're going to other butchers in town, I would suggest these guys instead. Waaaaay better prices and same quality products. I think they are likely able to keep prices down by not having a fancy store.
